Spring definitely seems to be in the air this week and we've been seeing some stunning photos from the BBC Weather Watchers.
The organisers of a prostate cancer screening evening in Madeley, Shropshire, have had to apologise after they ran out of testing kits - because of the huge turnout.
The event at Jubilee House attracted 450 men and the Ironbridge Lions and Ironbridge Rotary Clubs said they had not realised house successful it would be.
The Rotary groups say they ordered 420 testing kits, but they didn't want to buy too many, because they cost £15 each.
They will be holding two more testing events in the coming months.
Quote MessageWe can only apologise for having to turn away the last few men who came and hope that they will understand the situation was beyond our control. This is the first time we have staged such an event and we didn't in a million years envisage that the 420 kits we had ordered would be insufficient."

North Shropshire MP Owen Paterson says the Scots would be better of remaining part of the UK, saying Brexit offers a "a wonderful opportunity for Scotland".
He also told BBC Radio Four that Spain might block Scotland from joining the EU as an independent nation, for fear it might give a boost to those who want independence for Catalonia.
Mr Paterson said the SNP had other domestic issues it should be concentrating on, instead of demanding a second independence referendum.
Quote MessageSurely far better is to see how Brexit pans out and instead of all this doom mongering to see the tremedous opportunities that Brexit will bring to thousands of people across Scotland?"

A planning inspector has rejected plans to build four homes on the site of a Shrewsbury beer garden, explaining it would be an unacceptable loss of local facilities. , external
A developer wanted to build on the grounds of the Inn on the Green on the Radbrook Green estate and had appealed to the inspector after Shropshire Council turned it down.
The inspector concluded the pub was a "cherished facility at the heart of the local community" and that the "spacious beer garden adds to the attraction of the Public House".
She also dismissed proposals to replace it with a smaller beer garden, saying "It is difficult to see how this area would provide an attractive area for patrons to sit" and that it wouldn't be big enough for children to play in.
Quote MessageIt would seem to me that the existing beer garden contributes to the vitality of the Inn on the Green. The replacement offer would be significantly less attractive or flexible for use than the existing provision."
