The inquest into 11-year-old Subhaan Ali's death has been adjourned.

After hearing evidence from South Yorkshire Police officers, coroner Ms. Nicola Mundy said there were sufficient inconsistencies in evidence that warranted further investigation.

She wants to know why the incident was deemed not suspicious, and would be writing to the police about why that decision was made.

The leader of Sheffield City Council, Julie Dore, says she would "seriously consider" ending their contract with current contractors Amey - if they're found to have breached health and safety laws.

It comes after a member of the public submitted a Freedom of Information request into health and safety breaches in the council's tree felling programme.

There have been 10 recorded incidents where an employee was injured while working, but none serious enough to cause the Health and Safety Executive to step in and stop work.

Dore has warned that if Amey are found to have breached health and safety law in the Streets Ahead contract, they would incur serious penalties.
