A songwriting partner of rock star Greg Lake (pictured below, far right), who has died, has paid tribute to his "enthusiasm".

Sinfield (pictured below) said: "When he got enthusiastic about anything, whether it was building his orchard or trout stream, he seemed to be able to build up his enthusiasm to an incredible degree and it was infectious.

"Everybody caught on to it and was dragged along and that was a good talent he had.

"I remember him chiefly for being very funny and from that laughter and enthusiasm there was a lot of determination for something to be bigger and better - a strong character obviously."

You can listen to Sinfield's full interview with Stephen Foster on BBC Radio Suffolk between 16:00 and 19:00 tonight.

Lowestoft Town, external manager Ady Gallagher believes his side has turned a corner recently, after winning four of their last five matches.

    Ady Gallagher

Prior to this current run the Ryman Premier Division club had won just two of their previous ten fixtures.

Gallagher says the recent victory over Wingate & Finchley was a key one, particularly for the club's fans.

"The players need to show that type of attitude and commitment in training and in games," he said.

"If they can do that then it gives supporters belief that, despite all of the hardship, we're trying to do our best and move in the right direction."

    BBC Radio Suffolk sport

Bury St Edmunds, external director of rugby Gavin Hogg believes his side can be one of the best in National League Two South, external, but only if they stop blowing hot and cold.

    Gavin Hogg

Even though the Wolf Pack were beaten 31-21 by high-flying Old Elthamians at the weekend, Hogg was fairly happy with what he saw from his players.

"We've been waiting for a performance like that and we do think we're capable of being a top four side in this league," he said.

"For us it's about making those good 20 minute spells becoming 40, 60 and 80 minute performances."

Our favourite feline felon is at it again.

Remember Theo? He's Ipswich's infamous cat burglar and he's started this year's Christmas "shopping" early.

This kleptomaniac cat's been nicking his neighbours' belongings for three years and Christmas is a "special time" for him, his embarrassed owner Rachael Drouet says.

Theo, a six-year-old Siamese-cross, has just acquired these reindeer socks, undoubtedly destined for a neighbour's child whose tiny feet will now be chilly this festive season.

As ever, Ms Drouet's trying to return Theo's "treasures", which he drags out of neighbours' homes and back to his own via catflaps and duly presents them as "presents".

But it's not going to get easier as this cat hones his criminal ways...

The 20-year-old, who's on loan from Ipswich Town, external, saved a penalty on his debut and then another one in Tuesday's shoot-out win at Eastbourne Borough.

"He had a serious injury at Ipswich Town and he's getting better and better all of the time," said Driver.

"We know with youngsters that they are going to make mistakes and this is all part of Jacob's development.

"I'm sure Mick McCarthy's grateful that we're giving him game time and we're also very grateful that he's allowing Jacob to be on board with us.

"Hopefully it's serving a purpose for both clubs."

It was launched by Cheryl Hickman, owner of The Bull Inn at Barton Mills, external, where Corrie's mum Nicola has been staying.

She said hiring a private investigator is "one of the things they want to look at spending the money on, and also getting some analysis of data.

"We just want to make sure that nothing's being missed."

The county's police and crime commissioner says "nothing is being held back" in the search for missing RAF serviceman Corrie Mckeague: "We have reserves... I don't actually care what it costs, we will find resources to do it."

    Police search

Speaking in response to recent criticism from members of Corrie's family that the police are not doing enough to try to find him, Tim Passmore said: "I understand their point of view and I'm trying very, very hard here to do everything possible to support them.

"Nothing is being held back and I have checked, I check at least twice a week on that because we've got to find what's happened to Corrie.

    "It's so important."

    Tony WringeImage source, Forces TV

Writing on the Find Corrie Facebook page, external, the missing serviceman's uncle Tony Wringe, says they had been "working on a plan of action to step up the search for Corrie", which included Nicola Urquhart offering a substantial reward from the anonymous couple.

He added: "We have been holding back on launching it because the Investigation team and Suffolk Police were struggling to cope with answering the few calls a week they were receiving already; we wanted to try and give them an opportunity to prepare for the increase in volume.

"They have not, but still knowingly permitted another family member to post a reward without informing Nicola.

"We are gravely concerned that any information provided will not be effectively collected, collated and acted upon."

We'll bring you a response to this criticism from Suffolk's Police and Crime Commissioner shortly.
