England

Alessia Russo is heading to Switzerland in the summer for Euros 2025
England's women have had a disappointing start to their Nation's League campaign after drawing 1-1 against Portugal.
Arsenal striker Alessia Russo gave the Lionesses an early lead from a beautiful set up from Lucy Bronze.
But Portugal sub Kika Nazareth snatched away their hopes midway through the second half.

Kika Nazareth's goals meant England and Italy come away form the match with a point each
So how is England boss Sarina Wiegman feeling ahead of the Euros, especially as they look to hold on to their title from 2022?
"I'm not concerned," Wiegman said.
"I'm just working really hard with the team to get things right and I think we are improving."
Their next test will be against the current Nations League title holders Spain on Tuesday.
Wales

Barbara Bonansea's header won Italy the match
Wales' women are also heading to Switzerland for the Euros this summer, so will be using the Nations League as a good way to get in tip top shape.
So they might not be too happy with their first game, as they lost 1-0 to Italy.
Barbara Bonansea's early header proved decisive for Italy at home in Monza.
Despite the loss, they created lots of chances throughout the match, so they've still got lots to build upon throughout the tournament.
Wales are up against Sweden next on Tuesday.
Scotland

Austria's Lilli Purtscheller secured the win for her team
On to the teams that aren't in the Euros lineup, and Scotland also lost their opening Nations League match.
Austria's Lilli Purtscheller bested Scotland's goalie Lee Gibson with a strong strike, and the game ended 1-0 to Germany.
Scotland interim head coach Michael McArdle said: "Disappointed with the result, performance-wise, [but] there's areas we can improve as well."
Their next game will be against Germany on Tuesday.
Northern Ireland

Adriana Achcinska of Poland scored the second goal of the game
And Northern Ireland came away with a 2-0 defeat to Poland in their first game of the competition.
Poland scored twice in four minutes to secure their win, and while Northern Ireland looked more settled in the second half, they couldn't do anything to bring it back.
They'll be looking to do better against Bosnia at home on Tuesday.
