How are communities coming together to combat the effects of the riots?

On Monday the 29th July an attack took place in Southport, a seaside town not far from Liverpool.

Following the attack misinformation spread on social media that what happened was linked to illegal immigration.

That wasn't true, but it sparked violent protests that spread across towns and cities in England, and Belfast in Northern Ireland, in the days that followed.

One place that was affected is Liverpool, where a local library was badly damaged.

Emma-Louise went to meet children there who use the library regularly.
