    It's a mouth-watering prospect to see if the Kansas City Chiefs can go back-to-back, or if the San Francisco 49ers can finally get their sixth title after knocking on the door the last few years.

    Can Brock Purdy beat Patrick Mahomes, or will the Chiefs quarterback take another step in challenging Tom Brady for GOAT status?

    And there we are, after two superb games tonight we have our Super Bowl 58 match-up as the Kansas City Chiefs will defend their title against the San Francisco 49ers.

    It's a fourth visit to the big game in five years for the Chiefs, while the 49ers have been a game away the last two years before making it third time lucky tonight thanks to that incredible comeback against the Lions.

    The two teams met in the Super Bowl four years ago, with the Chiefs coming from behind to see Patrick Mahomes win his first Lombardi Trophy to start their dynasty run.

    But the Niners have been there or thereabouts the last few years as well as consistently one of the best teams in the league - but who will come out on top this time?

    Las Vegas has a truly epic showdown for their first Super Bowl in a couple of weeks.

    Brock Purdy: "It is a team sport and we knew we had a half left [when down 17 points at half-time]. The defence did a great job and we knew we had to take care of it on offense. The coach called a great game and we had the faithful behind us all the way."

    Running back Christian McCaffrey: "It means the world. I am so pumped up to be part of this organisation. I see the guys in the locker room and the coaching staff and how everyone puts their all in every day.

    "I am proud to be a 49er and we have got one more."

    What a game, and what a comeback from the San Francisco 49ers, who looked dead and buried when down by 17 points at half-time.

    Detroit didn't back up their first half in the second 30 minutes, but the players gave their all and in the end San Francisco managed to grab all the momentum and, eventually the victory.

    Instead, the Niners take over in great field position and looking to close this game out now by going and scoring a touchdown.
