Special teams is for special players, for special moments like this.

It's all about the return game. Look at the space he had when he caught the ball and Parker Washington took advantage.

There's nobody down to make him redirect and he's off to the races.

Man, the game and the momentum just shifted!

So, where to start with that?

The run from Parker Washington was utterly sensational. I said it was 96 yards but that wasn't totally accurate.

For the final five, he pretty much moonwalked into the end zone before dropping backwards as though abseiling off a cliff.

The longest punt return touchdown in franchise history and an "I was there when..." moment for the London crowd.

  3. Two-point conversionpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 20 October

New England Patriots 10-22 Jacksonville Jaguars

We were about to watch a field goal from the Jags but then a Patriots foul nudged them five yards further,.

Doug Pederson goes for two and Trevor Lawrence patiently waits before picking out Brian Thomas in the end zone.

Twenty two unanswered points and the Jags are flying.

  4. touchdown

    Didn't see that coming!

A punt return special from Parker Washington who sprints fully 96 yards to capitalise on a slack bit of defending from the Patriots punt return team.

A moment of magic for the Wembley crowd to enjoy.

There's a man open for Drake Maye as he slings it towards Ja'Lynn Polk.

But bosh! Here comes Jaguars safety Andre Cisco with a stunning defensive play to force fourth down.

Bear with us, we may have a picture of these Jags fans soon (they've just popped up on the TV coverage too).

After that huge throw by Trevor Lawrence put the Jaguars into the red zone, one of them yelled: "Come on Trevor, I've got goosebumps!!"

Then he was head-banging as he celebrated that touchdown.

To be fair, he has got locks that even Trevor himself might be jealous of!!

We haven't seen much success with the run for the Patriots in the first half and Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson both get pummelled backwards on this drive.

Another tricky-looking third down for Drake Maye's offence is hit further when Hunter Henry false starts at the line of scrimmage.

We hit the two-minute warning with Maye facing third and long at his own 35.

  8. touchdown

Touchdown - Jaguars!published at 15:36 British Summer Time 20 October

No one is stopping the Tank.

He goes close twice but then Bigsby rampages through the New England defence from short range and gets himself a score.

    What a turnaround.

Is Tank Bigsby going to get a touchdown? No! A last-ditch stop from the Patriots' outstanding cornerback Christian Gonzalez keeps the Jaguars out for now.

But they're knocking on the door.

    Big time!

What a throw from Trevor Lawrence and a stunning catch from Brian Thomas Jr.

Out of nowhere, a 60-yard monster from the Jaguars gets them on the edge of the red zone.

Given the Jags' form this season - and towards the end of last term - there are question marks over both quarterback Trevor Lawrence and coach Doug Pederson.

Having handed Lawrence a huge new contract in the off-season, Pederson will be the man to move on if the Jags feel they need to make a change. And two vocal Jags fans behind us have made it clear throughout that they're right behind their fourth-year quarterback.

They praised him for how often he shows the awareness to tweak plays pre-snap, and during the scoring drive they screamed for him to "turn this season around".

That's certainly a good way to go about it and Lawrence made a couple of big throws on the way to the touchdown.

(It's not the two fans pictured, but we thought they were worth showing you...)

Suddenly some teeth for the Jaguars defence, forcing the Patriots drive to get absolutely nowhere.

Facing third and 15, Drake Maye delivers it out to JaMycal Hasty but he's swiftly swallowed up.

    The Patriots forced to punt.

This type of scoring efficiency ain't the norm for the Patriots either.

Today is just the second time in the past three seasons New England have scored on each of their first two drives of a game.

They also did it in Week Seven last year against the Bills.

We wanted a shootout and out of four drives, we've seen three scores.

To be fair, neither of these sides can afford to lose today.

    Long may this continue!

Big time throw! We talked about it, get this kid the ball!

Brian Thomas Jr, he can run but it's his ability to get into these positions right here, he came up with a big time catch in the end zone.

They just do not pick him up right there.

  16. touchdown

Touchdown - Jaguars!published at 15:22 British Summer Time 20 October

New England Patriots 10-7 Jacksonville Jaguars

Two plays pass the Jaguars by but on third down, Trevor Lawrence finds his man.

A terrific run from Brian Thomas Jr to eke out some space beneath the posts and Lawrence picks him out perfectly.

That's the rookie receiver's fourth touchdown of a fruitful start to the season.

Now here comes Tank Bigsby, feeding off the energy of this drive to bust through a few tackles. The Jags are inside the 10 and looking good.

They'll have a full set of downs to get themselves a score.

  18. Postpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 20 October

More like it from the Jags offence as Trevor Lawrence whizzes a dime into the arms of Christian Kirk.

    A 24-yard pick-up and they're starting to roll.

  19. Postpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 20 October

A nice completion from Trevor Lawrence to receiver Gabe Davis moves the Jags offence to the middle of the field.

The quarterback has completed all his passes so far.

Albeit he's only had chance to make four of them.

The Patriots had to settle for a field goal that time round, but it's another scoring drive and Drake Maye already has 90 passing yards, completing nine of his 12 passes.

Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels - the two men selected ahead of Maye in this year's draft - have both impressed so far this season but get this... Maye already has more touchdown passes than they managed in their first four NFL starts - and that's in a Patriots team very much in the midst of a major rebuild.
