They could do a lot worse than gave the Welsh flyer a runout on this drive.

Last week against the Chicago Bears, the Jacksonville Jaguars were guilty of giving away costly penalties - particularly on the defensive side of the ball.

That was three pre-snap penalties on the previous drive, essentially allowing the Patriots into field-goal range.

By the way, that touchdown was the first score the New England Patriots have had on their opening drive in 10 games.

It''s been a dysfunctional offence for a while now, but Maye-be, Drake is changing things.

Well, that 15 minutes definitely belonged to Drake Maye.

The rookie quarterback - on only his second NFL start, remember - led an impressive opening drive and generally took care of the ball really well.

He's got the Patriots threatening again as the action pauses.

It helps when the team you're playing keeps giving you penalties.

Two fouls, 10 yards gifted up and the Patriots are inching closer to scoring territory.

When you play for the Patriots, the weather is tough, you have to have a big arm.

Nobody will ever be Tom Brady but you can learn from what he did.

Another first down brought up for the Patriots as Drake Maye slings the ball into the arms of veteran tight end Hunter Henry.

They're moving the chains nicely through the air in this first quarter.

A first penalty of the day conceded by Jacksonville brings up second and five for the Patriots.

Ill discipline was an issue for the Jaguars last week and it lets Drake Maye off the hook on this drive.

And he takes advantage on third down, scrambling away from pressure to pick up a first.

Look how many missed tackles JaMycal Hasty forced on that play.

He [Drake Maye] looked comfortable and composed, that's what you want to see.

These first 10 to 15 plays, they've rehearsed them all week.

Unfortunately for the Jaguars, their opening drive peters out quickly as D'Ernest Johnson runs into a Patriots wall.

They'll punt away and Drake Maye will get another opportunity to impress at Wembley.

Two quick catches for Jags tight end Evan Engram and they advance over midfield.

After a massive game last week, expect him to be heavily involved again today.

That's a really encouraging drive by the Patriots and their rookie quarterback Drake Maye.

There was a little bit of everything from this year's number three draft pick as he patiently kept the chains moving before rounding it off with a touchdown on the game's opening possession.

That's already four touchdown passes for Maye from just one-and-a-bit NFL starts.

When former Wales rugby star Louis Rees-Zammit joined the Jacksonville Jaguars, many expected his regular-season debut to come in London.

Unfortunately for the 23-year-old, his wait goes on.

Last week in Tottenham Rees-Zammit was up in the stands, but today he is sat on the Jaguars' bench next to rookie kicker Cam Little.

After offering the ball to the Patriots from the toss, the Jaguars need a response. So who's going to lead it?

Rookie sensation Brian Thomas Jr is the most likely. He's got three touchdowns already and boasts three games with over 80 yards receiving.

Meanwhile last week, the Jaguars offence was boosted by the return of tight end Evan Engram from injury and he immediately reconnected with Trevor Lawrence. He clocked almost 1,000 yards last season.

Then, there's running back Tank Bigsby who bullied the Indianpolis Colts two weeks ago with a pair of touchdowns. With Travis Etienne out, he could dominate the carries for the Jags.

Fair play to Drake Maye.

Eleven plays, 68 yards and a touchdown at the end of it.

Rhamondre Stevenson opened it up for the Patriots with his run on the previous play but then Drake Maye can't get rid of it quickly enough and they drop back five yards.

A problem here for Patriots back Antonio Gibson after a nine yard catch and run.

He's crumpled on the turf receiving treatment.

The visitors have made their way to the 27 and are chasing points on this opening drive.
