Very happy Eagles fan, did not think we would dominate the half like this. Hopefully Saquon can get going in the 2nd half to drain the clock. Go birds!

  2. Interception!published at 01:05 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Kansas City Chiefs 0-17 Philadelphia Eagles

What's happening here! Zach Baun comes across the field and takes a wonderful diving catch of Patrick Mahomes for another interception.

The Eagles get the ball on the 14 and in ideal position to add another touchdown. Mahomes was hit by his own man on that throw, who was driven back and being overpowered by Josh Sweat.

Pretty much sums up the game.

There's something about this game. This is the hardest game to come back in.

We talk about the Falcons being up 28-3 on the Patriots and them coming back to win - but that's the exception to the rule.

  4. Browned offpublished at 01:04 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Up 17 points in the Super Bowl isn't enough for some people, as AJ Brown is fuming at head coach Nick Sirianni for some reason on the Eagles sideline.

Can't please some people can you?

It's interesting to see head coach Andy Reid walking up and down the sidelines geeing his guys up. That's what you want your leaders doing, your quarterback.

  6. Chiefs stoppublished at 01:03 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Kansas City Chiefs 0-17 Philadelphia Eagles

They're 17 points behind but considering how long they've been on the field the Chiefs defence has done pretty well. They get a stop here on third down and the Eagles punt it away.

I was in a Super Bowl once where we [New England Patriots] were far behind at half-time to Atlanta. But we found a way to win.

If the Eagles can get a first down here and get more points on the board then it will make the Chiefs sideline feel that little bit tighter.

Super Bowl 59's half-time show will be headlined by American rapper Kendrick Lamar.

The 37-year-old headlined Glastonbury in 2022 and has won 17 Grammy Awards, along with several other honours from the music industry.

Only a week ago, he was cleaning up at the 2025 Grammys, winning awards for Record Of The Year, Best Rap Performance, Song Of The Year, Best Music Video and Best Rap Song awards.

Rumours are circulating about artists that may make guest appearances during his set and, so far, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter SZA is the only other confirmed act.

It may have been quiet when they played Coutnry Road but wow, the noise in here when Cooper DeJean ran that interception all the way back into the end zone.

Much of the talk in the build-up has been about the Chiefs and a potential three-peat. Now the Eagles are really starting to believe.

The Chiefs need a big stop here, find a way to stop the Eagles scoring again and then get the ball again. They need to slow the Eagles' defensive line down, they're on the quarterback so quickly.

  12. Two-minute warningpublished at 01:00 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Kansas City Chiefs 0-17 Philadelphia Eagles

We hit the two-minute warning with the Eagles emphatically leading 17-0 and having a great chance to add to their lead before the break. They'll have a third down and three when we return and you would think they'll make it the way they've played so far.

The Chiefs have had a nightmare.

LA rapper Kendrick Lamar is headlining this year's half-time show - just three years after his last appearance, as a guest of Dr Dre.

One of the most sonically adventurous artists in hip-hop, he's especially known for the precision of his lyrics - a phenomenon that's seen him christened "King Kendrick".

Born in Compton, he began writing rhymes as a teenager - a path that eventually led him to the Pulitzer Prize for Music, which he won for his third album, Damn, in 2018.

His career hit new heights last year with the release of Not Like Us. The eighth track in an ongoing rap battle with Drake, it was incendiary, witty, vicious and the biggest hit of Lamar's career.

For a victory lap, he surprise-released his fifth album, GNX - a sleek and commercial tribute to the hip-hop that inspired him.

Expect to hear the highlights of that album on the pitch tonight. And there are rumours that Taylor Swift will descend from her box suite to perform her duet with Lamar, Bad Blood. But would she really steal the spotlight like that? I'm not convinced.

Massive penalty against the Chiefs, and a stupid one from Nick Bolton after they'd already blown up the Eagles play on second and 26.

So instead of an improbable third down the Eagles get 15 yatrds and a fresh set of down - that's a first-class bonehead play from a player who should know much better.

It shows you how rattled this team is - the Chiefs win games by not making mistakes, no turnovers and limiting soft penalties. Not tonight.

In all of Kansas City's recent Super Bowls, the only time they have trailed by this many, they went on to lose to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021.

They were 10 down at half-time against the Eagles two years ago and managed to fight back to win.

If Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs can come back from here, they really could be the GOATs.

This reminds me of the Mahomes in 2021 against Brady’s Tampa Bay, he was nullified that day too. Never allowed to settle all game.

This is the worst start the Chiefs could have had.

The Eagles have such an ability to dominate the time of possession - they've already had double.

There are not going to be many opportunities for the Chiefs to score any points.

Saquon Barkley has a decent run for nine - the Chiefs have no chance if he suddenly starts getting some joy, that's the one thing KC have managed to do so far.
