Summary

  1. Time outpublished at 00:36 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Kansas City Chiefs 0-7 Philadelphia Eagles

Just trying to get he Chiefs to jump offside? Maybe, as the Eagles let the lock run down and then take a time out - and I think they'll likely kick a field goal here instead of taking the gamble.

  2. Fourth downpublished at 00:35 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Kansas City Chiefs 0-7 Philadelphia Eagles

Great tackle on Jalen Hurts by Justin Reid but the Eagles are going for it on fourth down and three.

  3. Big play!published at 00:35 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Kansas City Chiefs 0-7 Philadelphia Eagles

AJ Brown takes another big catch - 22 yards doewn the right sideline on a back shoulder throw that really gives Trent McDuffie no chance to make a play on as Brown's just too big.

Nice throw by Jalen Hurts too and that looks like a match-up they'll go to again and again.

Still no sign of the Chiefs offence in New Orleans. Can somebody make a run to the airport and see if their flight was delayed?

    Steve, Cambridge

The Chiefs currently dodging punches like Ali on the ropes, but they will work out the Eagles and throw a suckerpunch soon.

You need to keep the scoreboard ticking over against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

In the Super Bowl two years ago, a 10-point lead at half-time was not enough.

They have been good at protecting the football this season, until that recent interception.

Expect this drive to be key in establishing the run and getting at least into field goal range.

Jalen Hurts is back to work quickly after throwing that pick - let's see what he can do...

The Chiefs need to find a way to establish that run game and that will take some pressure off Mahomes.

Stats dominant for the eagles, but it means nothing with only 1 touchdown on the board! Game on!

    Peter, Durham

Chiefs need to step it up! Mahomes didn’t look too happy after their first drive. Eagles by comparison definitely coming out more aggressive, but the Chiefs have got their eyes on Barkley. Defence wins championships…

The Chiefs have been here so many times. They know they can overcome anyone offensively and defensively. Patience is key.

  10. Incomplete!published at 00:28 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Kansas City Chiefs 0-7 Philadelphia Eagles

Patrick Mahomes tried to hit his go-to guy Travis Kelce but the ball is too low and that's a three-and-out they simply could not afford at this stage.

The Chiefs have to punt and Philly have the ball back only just inside their own half - looks like Jalen Hurts has got away with that one.

It's not all good news for Kansas City though, they've survived without conceding points, but they've got the ball right on their own goal line - and they've not moved the ball at all against this Eagles defence so far.

They've had two plays with Patrick Mahomes in his own end zone and they still need three yards to move the chains.

A little lacking from Saquon Barkley so far. You'd want to see more from him.

He needs 152 yards to break John Riggins record in the post-season.

He's in the neighbourhood if he breaks a couple of big ones but I guess he'll keep plugging away.

Steve Spagnuolo (Chiefs defensive coordinator) is willing to take risks in terms of the looks that he gives. The Eagles have to expect the unexpected.

Lol... commentator's curse if ever I saw it.

And it's throws like that which fuel Jalen Hurts' doubters. There has no need to force it.

Just chuck it in the dirt or out of bounds, and live to fight another down.

I'm so impressed by this Kansas City defence. They do a good job when they play their zones, stop Hurts from throwing the ball too quickly and allows the defensive line to make a difference.

  16. Interception!published at 00:23 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Kansas City Chiefs 0-7 Philadelphia Eagles

Third down and 10 for Philly and once again Steve Spagnuolo dials up a blitz right up the middle and Jalen Hurts throws a high lobbed pass off the back foot and it's picked off by Bryan Cook.

Hurts has gone seven play-off games without throwing a pick - back to his very first one in fact - but that was all down to the creative blitz the Chiefs ran which surprised Hurts.

So far, so good for Philly. Jalen Hurts has had plenty of doubters, who claim you just need to force him to throw to get them better of the Eagles.

He's doing alright so far, though. At the end of the first quarter, he's completed six of seven passes for 75 yards.

Good job as the Chiefs are managing to contain Saquon Barkley, for now.

The Eagles will be feeling really good.

They've stepped into the ring with the heavyweight champion of the world - and they're winning.

    Saquon Barkley rushing yards graph

It's been a good start for the Philadelphia Eagles but their star running back Saquon Barkley has been kept in check so far.

His 19 yards is comfortably his worst start to a play-off game so far this season - but they are still winning.
