Summary

  1. Ind 74-2published at 17.3 overs

Akash Deep clips his first ball in the air for four. I'm not sure this was the plan but every run will help India.

Out and India lose the review.

It has kept low from Gus Atkinson which is of slight concern for England given they will bat last.

The only thing that can save Sudharsan is if it has done a bit too much.

Jaiswal's mindset seems different compared to the first innings. There's a sense of urgency with his body language and the way he's walking.

England have bowled well. Especially Josh Tongue, he was unfortunate to only get one wicket in that spell, he should've had more.

  13. Ind 64-1published at 16 overs

    Jaiswal 45, Sudharsan 11

There's no joy for Gus Atkinson despite an accurate start to his second spell. There's still 25 minutes to go today.

Just another example of this side not being able to nail their opposition. India could've been 60-3, leading by 40 with half an hour left of play. England could've then picked up another couple of wickets and been five down and miles ahead.

With England a bowler down, Ollie Pope has to turn back to Gus Atkinson for his second spell of the innings. The wicket of KL Rahul now feels a long time ago.

It was waist high to Crawley, slightly to his left as Sai Sudharsan attempted a drive. It looks like he has also been done for pace.

Dropped catches cost India in the first Test of the series. It may well cost England in the last.
