  3. 'Joseph is the spirit of our attack'published at 23:58 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November

West Indies captain Rovman Powell: "The guys were a little bit more committed today and the toss fell in our hands. It's been a series where once you win the toss, you seem to win the game but the guys played well today.

"We're always trying to tinker with our selection to get our best combination. Maybe five bowlers isn't our best suit but sometimes because of the situation, you've got to use it. We were forced today to only use five bowlers."

On Alzarri Joseph: "He's very, very important for us. He's the spirit of our attack for a long time now and it's for other bowlers to keep up with his standard. If we keep improving as a bowling group, we'll be OK."

On other fast bowlers: "To be honest, we don't have a lot. We've been looking around the Caribbean for bowlers. It's an opportunity for bowlers around the Caribbean to keep putting in good performances because the coach is on the look out.

"The guys are actually trying, it's been tough for the bowlers in this series."

On fifth T20: "3-2 is better than 4-1 and the crowd in St Lucia have paid their money so we'll come out and try to do it for them."

  4. 'Rehan was very brave today'published at 23:55 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November

England captain Jos Buttler: "It was an excellent wicket and we got off to a great start with our openers putting them under plenty of pressure. We thought we needed at least 220.

"Their openers then played exceptionally well too. We were trying to do some things differently, create some opportunities with fielders in other areas of the field.

"Jamie Overton is OK, we just have to manage his workload throughout the series so he couldn't bowl today.

"Leg-spinners are gold dust in T20 cricket and Rehan was very brave today with how he bowled, he got us back into the game. He is full of confidence for a young man and I can see him playing a hugely important role in this side going forward."

  5. 'Different situations require different approaches'published at 23:51 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November

Player of the match, West Indies opener Shai Hope: "We have to assess, that's one thing we struggled with in the first three games in the powerplay. We've been losing early wickets so we needed to understand the best remedy to combat their bowlers.

"I just believe in doing what the team requires. Obviously different situations require different approaches. Just doing what the team need in a particular moment.

"I prefer to bat in the middle but I'm a batter so as long as I'm out there playing, I'll bat anywhere.

"I'm being run out all the time, I need to speak to the trainer and fix that!"

Shai Hope was the aggressor early on for West Indies, with his usual mix of elegance and power, before Evin Lewis took over.

The big-hitting left-hander smashed seven sixes in his 68 from 31 balls.

By the time those two fell in successive deliveries, the game was the Windies' to lose.

From start to finish, that is as good as you're going to see in a run-chase - from any side.

It looked to be a challenging total posted by England, who batted very well for their 218-5, but on a belting batting track, it was clear early in the West Indies' chase that it would not be enough.

The tourists, with an extremely inexperienced bowling attack, showed some fight to make the Windies work for it but, ultimately, it wasn't enough.

Clean sweep avoided for Rovman Powell and his side after a run-fest in St Lucia.

Back-to-back sixes from Sherfane Rutherford to seal the win for West Indies!

It threatened to get nervy at the end but Rutherford put an end to that.

A record T20I chase on this ground thanks to some supreme hitting, initially from Evin Lewis and Shai Hope, that was backed up by Rovman Powell before Rutherford finished the job.

Muscled down the ground for six!

Top hitting from Sherfane Rutherford and that should do it for West Indies.

Should they get over the line, this will be just the second time West Indies have chased down a score of more than 200 in T20s in 16 attempts. England will have failed to defend a score of in excess of 200 for the first time.

  13. WI 209-5published at 18.4 overs

    Need 10 from 8 balls

Great effort from Jamie Overton in the deep, diving to cut off Sherfane Rutherford's muscled shot down the ground.

Just a single from the next, too.

  14. WI 207-5published at 18.2 overs

    Need 12 from 10 balls

Drilled to long off for a single.

This will do for West Indies. England need dots or wickets.

Almost as if to add to the theatre of it all, the umpires decide that the ball needs changing.

  15. WI 206-5published at 18.1 overs

    Need 13 from 11 balls

Thick inside-edge from Roston Chase, it runs past short fine leg and he gets back for two.

Dan Mousley will bowl the penultimate over. Roston Chase is on strike.

  17. WI 204-5published at 18 overs

    Need 15 from 12 balls

Another decent over for England, just six from it, and this game is in danger of going down to the wire.

West Indies are still clear favourites but, with two overs left, they have got work to do.

  18. WI 199-5published at 17.2 overs

    Need 20 from 16 balls

Sherfane Rutherford skies one in trying to hit Sam Curran out of the ground... but it lands between about four England fielders.

It looked certain that one of them would have got there but no. A single.

  19. WI 198-5published at 17.1 overs

    Need 21 from 17 balls

Sam Curran starts with a dot ball...

  20. WI 198-5published at 17 overs

    Need 21 from 18 balls

West Indies are still well in control of this but they do need to be careful.

It's three quiet overs in a row, Rovman Powell has gone, and one more good over for England could make this far nervier than it should be for the Windies.

Sam Curran will bowl the next over for the tourists...
