England will take that from John Turner in his first over.

This is the first time John Turner has bowled the first over of the innings in his T20 career (he's bowled the second over in 14 matches).

    Target 219

Very good from John Turner after that wide to start.

Five dot balls follow before West Indies opener Evin Lewis goes after a fuller delivery.

He gets a thick outside edge but the ball flies over the head of Jamie Overton at slip and away for four.

This is not the most experienced England bowling attack and it'll be interesting to see how they get on; but plenty for them to work with.

Of course, Saqib Mahmood will lead them well on his current form. West Indies can’t afford another poor powerplay chasing this total.

  5. WI 1-0published at 0.0 overs

    Target 219

John Turner, making his T20I debut, will open the bowling and his first ball slides down the leg side.

A wide gets West Indies off the mark. They'll take all the free runs they can chasing such a large total.

There is no messing around in these T20 games, even with the intervals.

The players are back out and we're ready for the start of the West Indies chase.

They need a massive 219 to win - but don't rule it out...

It was a great batting performance. Without doubt the best batting pitch of this tour, in both ODIs and T20s.

West Indies didn't bowl particularly well but it's a belting wicket. The margin for error is very small.

    Thanks, Ffion.

Some effort from England to get themselves up to the joint-highest T20 total at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground.

Phil Salt got things started and then young Jacob Bethell provided yet more evidence of why England are so excited by what he could be capable of in the coming years.

For West Indies, a big target to chase down but on a pitch that seems pretty good for batting. An exciting second innings awaits...

    Well, that was good fun.

West Indies require a phenomenal batting performance here if they are to get their first win of the T20 series. I'm going to leave you in the hands of Sam Drury to take you through their chase of 219 to win.

50+ scores for England in T20Is aged 21 and under:

    • 2 - Jacob Bethell
    • 1 - Tom Banton
  12. Eng 218-5published at 20 overs

Sam Curran is run out coming back for two from the final ball, but that's been a masterclass from England after losing the toss.

Jacob Bethell finishes unbeaten on a sparking 62 from 32 balls, with contributions of 55 from Phil Salt, 25 from Will Jacks and 38 from Jos Buttler.

  13. Eng 217-4published at 19.5 overs

    How?!

Sam Curran smokes a short ball outside off stump for six over long-on, with a tennis-like swipe.

This is England's 12th time posting a score of over 200 batting first in a T20I, they have successfully defended their total on all 11 previous occasions.

Four runs from the first three balls is a respectable start.

  16. Eng 206-4published at 19 overs

Class response from Alzarri Joseph, with no further boundaries coming from the rest of the over. His 1-33 are by far the best figures of the innings today.

Good luck to Obed McCoy, who has been tasked with the last over.

That last over from McCoy showed pace off is a useful tool here but still need some variation.

    200 up in style!

Sam Curran makes the most of an Alzarri Joseph full toss, hammering it down the ground for his first six.

Jacob Bethell could be the Eoin Morgan replacement we've been desperate for. He looks fantastic.

Obed McCoy starts his over brilliantly with just four singles and one wide from it, but is then left to rue the extra ball given away as Jacob Bethell slams it for six more.

    Brutal.
