But it still looks like a very good pitch to bat on.
And a third over of that ilk, although this time Joe Root's single is an edge into the leg side.
The players will take drinks, with Joe Root on the brink of fifty.
And a repeat of the previous over, Root getting off strike with a single to square leg in the middle of the over, this time off Asitha.
He moves to 48.

Quietly, Joe Root's in the middle of a golden summer. His Test average this home season (87) is his highest since 2014, when he put up a remarkable 777 runs at 97. Only the one ton, but excellent returns for the former skipper.

Asitha Fernando has got the ball nipping around. He's bowled very well, backing up his work at Old Trafford.
He thought he won the battle with Jamie Smith there, it was aerial. Smith really threw his hands at it.
A first boundary for Smith, a bit of an edge and Asitha's delivery flies to the point boundary.
Smith then edges in the other direction, clipping the final delivery of the over into his pads.
If you're lamenting Harry Brook being dismissed on umpire's call, remember Joe Root got the flip side when given not out in the morning session.
