Summary

  1. India reviewpublished at 4 overs

Mohammed Siraj strikes Zak Crawley on the pad, and India fancy this despite nothing from the umpire

It lands just below the knee roll, and they are going to send it upstairs.

There's only one team who can end today with strong confidence they are going to win this match, and it isn't England. India have the first opportunity to take 10 wickets, so are in the stronger position.

Then again, if the ball is going to spit off the pitch like it just did to Crawley, how many would you want to chase tomorrow? 250? No more than that?

  3. Eng 10-0published at 3 overs

Now, that has landed on the glove.

After calling on the physio last night for a ball that grazed the glove, Zak Crawley takes one square on the upper hand off Jasprit Bumrah's rising final delivery.

The England opener drops his bat, while Bumrah hurls himself towards the ball but he's got too far to go and it drops safe.

  4. Eng 9-0published at 2 overs

That's followed immediately by runs off the bat, as Duckett pushes the ball wide of mid-off and takes three.

Siraj returns to over the wicket to bowl to right-hander Zak Crawley and sends one down that keeps low and beats the bat of the England opener.

  5. Eng 6-0published at 1.1 overs

A boundary to get us going.

Mohammed Siraj, coming round the wicket to Ben Duckett, fires a delivery down the leg side and Dhruv Jurel can't stop it on the dive.

The ball runs away for four byes.

It'll be interesting to see how they play this game, have they had a message from Brendon McCullum that they need 350 to defend tomorrow so go out and get us that total?

Back to his best? Archer's six deliveries all above 90mph

India's players are in a huddle in the outfield, while Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett wait on the sidelines.

We'll start in a few minutes - enough time to enjoy this over of 90mph bowling from Jofra Archer yesterday.

We've had a bit of news from the England camp overnight.

Spinner Shoaib Bashir injured his left little finger yesterday, trying to stop a drive from Ravindra Jadeja off his own bowling.

He will continue to be monitored and is expected to bowl in the fourth innings of this Test, but a decision on whether he will bat in the third innings is yet to be made.

His involvement in the fourth Test at Old Trafford, starting on 23 July, will be assessed at the end of this match.

    Lord’s

It feels a bit cooler this morning with a fair bit of high cloud. I’ve given up trying to make sense of whether a cricket ball will swing here but instinctively it feels like that kind of morning.

Crawley and Duckett exchange words with India in frantic final over on day three

It's day three of the third Test at Lord's and England's Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley resume against India on 2-0 in the second innings, after both sides scored 387 in their first showing.

Crawley faced one rather feisty over last night as the opener ensured the clock would run out and he wouldn't need to face six more balls.

Could we see those tensions continue to simmer today? We'll soon see...

Three days down. Two runs in it.

England bowling coach Tim Southee called it a two-day shoot-out.

We'll go with that - hover your hands over your holsters.
