Bob Hawkins: This could be over tonight… two-day Tests aren’t a good look.

Ben Stokes is the third player to reach the double of 6000 runs and 200 wickets in Test cricket.

He is in esteemed company with Jacques Kallis and Garfield Sobers.

There's two hours of cricket left. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that this game is over tonight.

I do fear for the West Indies. There is little substance in their batting, very little experience once Kraigg Brathwaite is out.

  4. WI 17-2published at 12 overs

Athanaze sees out the final three balls of the over, and that's a wicket-maiden for Ben Stokes.

England could easily get on a roll here.

There doesn't seem to be much of a plan from West Indies' batters, they are just sitting. It's not easy against such a good bowling attack, and the ball is moving around plenty.

This is a real examination for West Indies' top order.

    Very out!

All reds on the board. A 200th Test wicket for Ben Stokes, a superb achievement given there were doubts about his future as a bowler at times in the last few years.

Alick Athanaze enters the frying pan for the West Indies.

  9. Umpire reviewpublished at 11.3 overs

Change at both ends for England as Ben Stokes replaces Chris Woakes and he too has an appeal for lbw.

This one is given though, but scoreless batter Kirk McKenzie is sending it upstairs.

Chris in Somerset: They really ought to let Jimmy have another Test to try and get past Warne's record. Time for a quick petition.

Jimmy Anderson's final opening spell in Test cricket was just what you'd expect. He bowled five overs, four maidens, one wicket for two runs.

  12. WI 17-1published at 11 overs

Handy shot from Mikyle Louis, turning Atkinson's final ball square for four.

  13. Not outpublished at 10.4 overs

Yes, looked like it was doing too much and so it proved. Pitching outside off but jagging back past leg.

I was quite surprised England went for that, as the initial appeal wasn't especially vociferous.

It just looked right for me.

  15. Umpire reviewpublished at 10.4 overs

England bring Gus Atkinson on for James Anderson and England feel he's picked up the wicket of Mikyle Louis with his fourth ball.

Nothing from the umpire, but Ben Stokes has sent it upstairs.

  16. WI 13-1published at 10 overs

Mikyle picks up a leg-bye from a Chris Woakes ball that comes off his thigh pad, the sole run from the over as England continue to turn the screw.

With TMS talking about listening to the cricket in school, I'm a history teacher and I made students in after school detention listen to TMS today. I hope they appreciated it.

  18. WI 12-1published at 9 overs

Wicket-maiden for James Anderson, with new batter Kirk McKenzie not looking entirely comfortable.

The West Indies batter scored just one in the first innings.

Kraigg Brathwaite won't miss facing Jimmy Anderson. That is the eighth time in 12 Tests that he has dismissed the West Indies opener.

And it's a beauty too, the nip-backer down the hill and getting him through bat and pad.

The wobble seam works for him again. Look at the smile on his face, I wonder if he's been feeling the pressure a bit.
