England won’t mind losing the toss here and being put in to bat first. Since the start of 2022, six ODIs have been played at Seddon Park - four have been won by the side batting first, only one by the chasing team and one no-result. History here recently favours setting a total.

New Zealand: Will Young, Rachin Ravindra, Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Latham (wk), Michael Bracewell, Mitchell Santner (c), Nathan Smith, Zak Foulkes, Blair Tickner, Jacob Duffy

England: Jamie Smith, Ben Duckett, Joe Root, Harry Brook (c), Jacob Bethell, Jos Buttler (wk), Sam Curran, Jamie Overton, Brydon Carse, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid

One change for England with Jofra Archer coming in for his first game against New Zealand since the 2019 World Cup final - he replaces Luke Wood.

New Zealand also make one switch with Matt Henry dropping out with a calf niggle. He's replaced by Blair Tickner, who plays his first ODI since May 2023.

  4. New Zealand win the toss and bowlpublished at 01:04 GMT

We're slightly delayed in Hamilton thanks to a wet outfield, meaning we haven't started at the scheduled 01:00 GMT.

However, we have now had a toss and it's New Zealand that have come out of it the happier side.

Mitchell Santner has decided to bowl, the obvious choice given the weather.

    Harry Brook, eh?

He's batted 12 times for England in New Zealand, and has come away with four hundreds - including 135 in defeat on Sunday - and four fifties.

Will the England captain be in the runs today, as his side look to save this three-match series after losing its opening game?.

    We'll soon find out...
