England have bowled well but every so often there has been a freebie and they haven't had the runs to play with. For England's standards, they will be disappointed in all areas of the game.

  2. SA 149-4published at 33 overs

Whatever pressure England had built up with that wicket evaporates as new batter Nadine de Klerk plays two lovely drives through the covers off Charlie Dean for four

Dean ends the over with a full toss that De Klerk pumps through the off-side and to the rope.

The equation is now 38 from 102 balls.

Nat Sciver-Brunt strikes very low with that one, very similar to the dismissal of Lauren Filer. Kapp was expecting it to arrive a lot higher, more knee height, but it is much needed for England.

    Kapp b Sciver-Brunt 22 (SA 136-4)

Now then. England have a small opening.

It is a very similar dismissal to that of Lauren Filer as Nat Sciver-Brunt bowls a back-of-a length delivery that keeps very low and skids under Marizanne Kapp's attempted pull.

There's no need for South Africa to take risks at the moment, hence their dot ball percentages are much higher than usual. They are just trying to close the game out safely.

  7. SA 135-3published at 31 overs

South Africa nudge three singles of Charlie Dean.

It has all gone a bit flat out there from an England perspective. They need something special here.

  8. SA 132-3published at 30 overs

Just a single off Sophie Ecclestone's eighth over. South Africa have clearly decided to play it safe.

Just 55 runs needed from 20 overs.

Great control from Laura Wolvaardt who has completed her fifty in 92 balls. It's her slowest fifty in ODI cricket, but just what her team needed to put them in a commanding position.

Half-century up for Laura Wolvaardt, who lofts a short ball from Charlie Dean over short fine leg for a single.

Marizanne Kapp strides down to give her team-mate a hug. Wolvaardt is guiding South Africa to victory here.

  11. SA 125-3published at 28 overs

Sophie Ecclestone bowls a maiden, but she remains wicketless from seven overs.

Oof, Marizanne Kapp is not hanging around here.

She absolutely blasts a straight length delivery back past Lauren Filer and to the rope.

Ten off the over. South Africa are tightening their grip on this game.

  15. SA 115-3published at 26 overs

Sophie Ecclestone has another chat with Heather Knight `before starting the over.

The result is a forward short-leg coming in to crank up the pressure on Marizanne Kapp, but she is completely undeterred - playing a gorgeous late cut through backward point for four.

Laura Wolvaardt joins in the fun later in the over with a lovely whippy drive through the covers.

    Ecclestone's frustration continues.

  16. SA 106-3published at 25 overs

    Target 187

Marizanne Kapp strides out to the middle to join Laura Wolvaardt. England suddenly have a spring in their step, but a clutch of wickets need to fall if they are to get back into this game.

A great delivery, banged in short by Lauren Filer and rising enough. But Annerie Dercksen has taken the sting out of the chase and has laid a solid base for her fellow batters to continue from.

  18. wicket

    Dercksen c Beaumont b Filer 27 (SA 105-2)

England finally get the breakthrough they were yearning for.

Lauren Filer gets one to rise up on Annerie Dercksen. As a result she cannot quite get on top of the pull and picks out Tammy Beaumont on the square leg boundary, who roars with delight after taking the catch.

Every ball that passes without a wicket is winding up Sophie Ecclestone beyond belief. She takes such regular wickets and this is such a crucial time to get one, so you can see her getting stressed.

  20. SA 104-2published at 24 overs

Heather Knight is deep in conversation with Sophie Ecclestone, who looks visibly frustrated - at the end of last two deliveries she arches back and looks to the heavens.

With just 83 needed South Africa are happy just to see Ecclestone off, much to her chagrin.
