  1. SA 76-5published at 18 overs

South Africa were in control at 72-2 but the match has been completely turned on its head by that dismissal of Annerie Dercksen in the 17th over.

Sophie Ecclestone's first over has had a huge impact. Laura Wolvaardt just got trapped in the crease and couldn't do a whole lot. South Africa's promising start has tumbled away from them and their confidence has just completely diminished since that drinks break.

    An edge saves Chloe Tryon.

A bit of relief for South Africa.

  4. England reviewpublished at 17.5 overs

    Two in two?!

It's absolute chaos out there. Sophie Ecclestone thinks she has Chloe Tryon lbw.

  5. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.4 overs

    Wolvaardt b Ecclestone 35 (SA 76-5)

From bad to worse! South Africa are collapsing in a heap with both star players gone in the space of four balls.

Laura Wolvaardt struck the second ball of Sophie Ecclestone's over for four, but this one is misjudged. The South Africa captain goes back to a fuller one that skids through and edges on to her stumps.

The game suddenly transforms! It was a very uncharacteristic shot from Marizanne Kapp, she may just have misjudged the pace of delivery and has played it far too early. The momentum has shifted massively now.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17 overs

    Kapp c Ecclestone b Dean 0 (SA 72-4)

Huge! South Africa are in huge trouble all of a sudden.

Marizanne Kapp, usually the calmest and most disciplined player in the side, has struck her third ball straight to mid-off.

A bizarre wicket but England are on cloud nine because South Africa's batting depth has been an issue for them.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 16.3 overs

    Dercksen c Filer b Dean 29 (SA 72-3)

A lapse in concentration after drinks!

Annerie Dercksen's promising innings comes to an end in frustrating fashion. She's played Charlie Dean so well, but ends up guiding a fuller delivery straight to backward point for a soft dismissal.

  9. SA 71-2published at 16 overs

Another tidy over from Nat Sciver-Brunt, including a short ball to try and catch Laura Wolvaardt off-guard but the captain deals with it well, steering down to fine leg for a single.

Time for a quick drinks' break.

Annerie Dercksen looks like she is getting into her stride here. This 54-run partnership is continuing to build and is looking like a menace for England. They have put away anything that is not on the right line and length.

  11. SA 67-2published at 15 overs

    Ah, a gift.

Short and down the leg side from Charlie Dean, so Annerie Dercksen just helps it on its way to the boundary.

That brings up the 50 partnership between Dercksen and Wolvaardt, in just their second time batting together in ODIs.

Nat Sciver-Brunt's first over was a little bit floaty and she really needs to bowl into the wicket a little bit harder. If she keeps pulling the length back it will make it harder for Laura Wolvaardt to drive it away to the boundary.

  13. SA 62-2published at 14 overs

Just a single from Sciver-Brunt's latest as England string together a couple of tight overs.

This batting pair have withstood the pressure well so far.

  14. SA 61-2published at 13 overs

A tidy over from Charlie Dean after her expensive start, just three singles worked from it as South Africa's rebuilding partnership continues to settle in.

Typically, Kingsmead is a better track than Kimberley, with more runs scored here in general across women's 50-over cricket.

The average winning first-innings score in Durban is 217. If Wolvaardt and Dercksen are together for an extended period of time, South Africa may be looking beyond that total on what looks to be a good pitch to play your shots.

  16. SA 58-2published at 12 overs

That is Laura Wolvaardt at her best, driving sweetly over the cover fielder for four.

She's played that shot well (as usual) but picked out the fielders quite a lot, so she'll be thrilled to finally get one to the ropes.

  17. SA 52-2published at 11 overs

Wisely, Dean sends a cover sweeper out and closes out the over pretty well, but 11 runs come from it which will please South Africa immensely.

  18. SA 50-2published at 10.2 overs

Annerie Dercksen continues to show why she is one of South Africa's most promising newcomers.

Charlie Dean keeps floating the ball up but on two occasions, Dercksen is equal to it with stunning drives through to the cover boundary.

The powerplay could have gone a lot worse for South Africa after those first two wickets. They have held up well and Dercksen and Wolvaardt have made sure to pounce on anything that isn't in the right area.

It is perfectly in the balance and both teams will feel happy.

  20. SA 41-2published at 10 overs

A double bowling change, as Nat Sciver-Brunt closes out the powerplay for England.

A couple of well-timed shots from both Dercksen and Wolvaardt find the fielders, with just one from the over. South Africa are slowly easing their way back into the game after England's cracking start.
