For those of you who watch out for these things and the England captain's hamstrings, this is Ben Stokes' fifth over on the spin.

    Ben Stokes continues.

He largely keeps it tight to Shubman Gill, who shows him the maker's name on a few occasions.

    Two runs off the over.

There we go, Rishabh Pant can't resist for too long.

A six, beautifully played, so well struck.

Rishabh Pant cannot resist any longer. He skips down the pitch and whacks the final ball of Shoaib Bashir for six over deep mid-wicket. Top shot.

'It's the skipper with the breakthrough!' - Stokes removes Jaiswal for 87

Here's how Ben Stokes got the breakthrough with the wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal a little earlier.

Shoaib Bashir continues. A glimmer of a chance of a run out after Shubman Gill nudges one to leg off Bashir's second delivery, but Stokes fumbles in the ring and cannot gather it cleanly to aim a throw at the non-striker's end.

Ben Stokes is turning pink as he works up a sweat before the tea interval. He bowls round the wicket to the right-handed Shubman Gill, who flicks him off his heels for a single.

Rishabh Pant then punches Stokes for a single through the covers, to the England captain's general disdain.

What England would give to nip another one out for tea.

Ben Duckett is in this funny straight long-off position behind Shoaib Bashir. He's currently doing some sort of dance at the direction of slip Harry Brook 50 yards away.

Thought I’d just drop you guys a message to say hi. I work as a gardener and TMS is always my favourite sound to drown out my lawnmower. Also… I’ve convinced my kids that all swans are called Graeme in respect to the man himself.

Ben Duckett stationed almost behind the bowler's arm at long-off to Rishabh Pant for Shoaib Bashir, but the India wicketkeeper does not seem too fazed by Ben Stokes' attempts to unsettle him.

Pant seems content to block, and dab singles, for now.

Listening all morning on holiday, taken my earphones out three times today and managed to miss all three wickets. Off for a dip in the pool so expecting a few more whilst I haven't got them in.

Thanks for your work, Steve. Ben Stokes continues with about 20 minutes or so until tea.

His fourth delivery to Rishabh Pant nips away from Rishabh Pant, who waggles his bat outside off stump.

Stokes and Pant share a quick gag a ball later when one squirts off an inside edge for a single.

India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant is a batting bagatelle, but he starts relatively cautiously with a couple of singles as he looks to get his eye in.

Shubman Gill moves on to 36 with a nudge of the final delivery of Shoaib Bashir's over.

Jaiswal genuinely had a waft at a wide ball and he will be so gutted at that.

But I am excited to see this man, Rishabh Pant, bat now.

Vintage Ben Stokes to deliver the big moment when nothing seemed to be happening. You can criticise the shot from Yashasvi Jaiswal, but the England skipper really does have a knack of striking when needed.

Rishabh Pant is the new batter. We could have a bit of fun before tea here.

Up goes the finger and Yashasvi Jaiswal is walking off.

He was looking a million dollars and struggled early on against the new ball but has been magnificent since.

Out of nowhere Ben Stokes has got one!

Yashasvi Jaiswal is drawn into playing at a wide one outside off stump. It's a bit of an ugly swipe, if we are honest, and he slices it through to the grateful gloves of Jamie Smith.

Stokes peels away in celebration. The England skipper has done it again.

As a spinner, just to contain on this pitch is tough. You have attacking fields, only a little bit of turn. It's a flat pitch and when you're bowling in the first innings, you want to contain.

It's not a bad strategy. Bashir might concede a few runs but he might also take wickets.
