  1. wicket

    Sales b Bailey 70 (Northants 238-6, lead by 328) v Gloucs

A terrific innings comes to an emphatic end.

James Sales, who has been terrific, looks to try a T20 style scoop over the wicketkeeper's head and just gets nothing on it as the ball goes on to whack the timbers with middle stump dislodged.

New batsman Lewis McManus has since rocketed on to 17 not out on 10 balls, which has included a massive six following a drag down from Graeme van Buuren.

    Surrey 68-0 (target 418) v Essex

Over nine of the morning and Essex turn to Simon Harmer.

Remember that Surrey didn't think it necessary to include a spin bowler in their team for this match - and it's their track.

What can Harmer get out of it?

Sibley just waited for that and rolled the wrists on it, it just whistles away into the leg side, lovely timing from Dom Sibley.

Then overpitched by Snater and nailed down the ground for four.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:29 British Summer Time 26 May

    Zaib c Charlesworth b Bailey 56 (Northants 210-5, lead by 300)

Saif Zaib takes on a short ball from Archie Bailey, looking for another maximum, but doesn't time it as well as he'd like and it finds Ben Charlesworth on the boundary who takes a good catch.

An important knock from Zaib, however, who will feel he has done his job for the team there.

  5. dropped catch

Dropped catchpublished at 11:28 British Summer Time 26 May

    Worcs 74-4 (target 327) v Warwicks

What a chance for Tom Latham.

He seems to react too late at slip after Rob Jones edges one seemingly straight to him but the ball flies to the boundary for four.

Chris Woakes drops to his knees in shock at that opportunity being missed.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:26 British Summer Time 26 May

    Benjamin c Guest b Reece 2 (Kent 172-5, trail by 89 runs)

Very smart work from Brooke Guest behind the stumps and Kent lose another.

The Derbyshire keeper is standing up to the stumps to the medium pace of Luis Reece and Chris Benjamin has edged one straight into his gloves.

It was a fine edge and not too much deflection, which certainly helped Guest, but still good stuff.

Kent have now lost two in the first 23 minutes and the dial is moving towards a Derbyshire win.

  7. Postpublished at 11:23 British Summer Time 26 May

    Surrey 57-0 (target 418) v Essex

Essex are sticking to that fullish length but it isn't working for them at the moment.

Four more to mid-on for Rory Burns off Shane Snater and the Surrey skipper advances to 36 not out.

Who can provide a bit of inspiration for the visitors?

  8. 50 runs

50 up for Saif Zaibpublished at 11:22 British Summer Time 26 May

    Northants 203-4 (lead by 293 v Gloucs)

Saif Zaib brings up his 50 for Northants while also bringing up the 100 partnership between himself and teammate James Sales.

You get the feeling the hosts are going to motor now before an early declaration.

They lead by 293 with six wickets still remaining.

Two wickets in very quick succession and now two wickets each for Rushworth and Woakes in this innings, good catch from Webster that too.

Oh, this is huge for Warwickshire - both overnight batsman depart in back to back balls.

It's terrific once more from Chris Woakes, who finds the right line and length and catches the outside of Kashif Ali's bat to Beau Webster who takes a good grab at second slip.

Two in two for the visitors!

  11. 50 up for Surreypublished at 11:14 British Summer Time 26 May

    Surrey 51-0 (target 418) v Essex

Surrey going along nicely so far this morning.

Shane Snater gets the line wrong and Rory Burns clips it away across the used wickets at mid-wicket for four runs.

He then pushes to square leg for a couple and Surrey's 50 comes up in the 12th over.

No sign of swing and very little seam movement so far.

Warwickshire make an early breakthrough this morning.

That is a big wicket, Gareth Roderick batted well I thought yesterday.

Rushworth has his sixth wicket in the match.

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:12 British Summer Time 26 May

Roderick lbw Rushworth 37 (Worcs 63-3, target 327) v Warwicks

    Big, big wicket for Warwickshire.

Chris Rushworth is an absolute model of accuracy and he hits Gareth Roderick on the pad first before the bat.

It looks like it might well have been pitching just outside the line here.

Bad luck for Roderick, who remember had to bat in very tricky conditions last night.

  14. 50 runs

50 for James Salespublished at 11:10 British Summer Time 26 May

    Northants 176-4 (lead by 266) v Gloucs

There's a misfield at midwicket which allows James Sales, who started the day on 49, to move on to a half century with his first ball of the day.

Saif Zaib then shimmies down the track and clears the boundary with a huge six over bowler Tom Price's head.

Northants look to be making their move early on day four.

  16. Postpublished at 11:05 British Summer Time 26 May

    Northants 168-4 v Gloucs (lead by 258)

It's a rather expensive first over for Gloucestershire.

10 off Archie Bailey's first on day four - all to Saif Zaib.

  17. Postpublished at 11:04 British Summer Time 26 May

    Surrey 42-0 - target 418

Bit of a gift part 2....

Shane Snater is too full with the first ball of his opening over and Dom Sibley beats mid-on and helps himself to a boundary.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:04 British Summer Time 26 May

    Muyeye c Guest b Chappell 55 (Kent 157-4, trail by 104 runs)

    What a start for Derbyshire.

First ball of the morning gets a wicket. And it is the one they wanted, too.

Tawanda Muyeye thinks that has come off his shoulder but an attempted hook as Zak Chappell sends down a bouncer is adjudged to have come off the back of his bat.

Difficult to say from replays as it is all a flurry of movement but, whatever, Brooke Guest takes a simple catch and he is gone.

    Bit of a gift.

Jamie Porter overpitches with the final ball of his opening over and Rory Burns eases it past mid-on for four runs.

  20. Postpublished at 11:01 British Summer Time 26 May

    Yorks 159 & 176-5 (target 463) v Notts 228 & 393-8d

George Hill is the new batsman in the middle with Matthew Revis following the last ball wicket of Harry Duke and Dillon Pennington has ball in hand as he finishes off the last two balls of his over.
