  1. Lunch at Edgbastonpublished at 13:07 British Summer Time 18 May

    Warwicks 56-2 - target 310

A lively morning at Edgbaston where six wickets fell in the first 70 minutes of play.

Four-wicket hauls from Beau Webster and the excellent Ethan Bamber helped dismiss Hampshire for 203, despite Toby Albert's 43 - to keep the visitors in sight.

Chasing 310 to win, the Bears lost out-of-sorts opener Rob Yates for two and New Zealand international Tom Latham to a six-ball duck - both to Kyle Abbott - and were tottering on 10-2.

But Sam Hain and skipper Alex Davies have batted the remaining overs sensibly to put on an unbroken 46 runs.

Warwickshire need 254 more for victory, Hampshire eight wickets.

  3. Lunch at Lord'spublished at 13:05 British Summer Time 18 May

    Middlesex 232 & 79-4 - lead by 37 runs v Leics 274

A brilliant morning session for Leicestershire.

Things were ticking along nicely for Middlesex but they've been dropping like flies since Sam Robson was trapped lbw by Ben Green.

The hosts have lost four wickets for just 28 runs.

  4. 300 runs

500 up for Surreypublished at 13:03 British Summer Time 18 May

    Surrey 505-9 v Yorkshire 255

It's a huge score by Surrey in this first innings and they've racked up almost double the number of runs Yorkshire managed.

A no-ball and a boundary as Matt Fisher swats one down to third man for four off Matthew Revis.

  5. Lunch at Old Traffordpublished at 13:02 British Summer Time 18 May

    Lancs 458 v Derbys 205-6

A fine 76-run stand from Jack Morley and Brooke Guest has helped Derbyshire fight back on the third morning of this match.

James Anderson went wicketless from his five-over spell to open the morning and the ball seemed to be doing little until George Balderson took two wickets in an over.

He removed Morley for a career-best 41 and Martin Andersson for a four-ball duck.

Guest (53 not out) and Anuj Dal (16 not out) need plenty more runs yet, with the deficit at 253 at lunch.

  6. Lunch at Chester-le-Streetpublished at 13:01 British Summer Time 18 May

    Durham 436-5 v Notts 407

Another tough session for the Championship leaders as they continue to toil on a flat pitch.

Liam Patterson-White finally snared Emilio Gay for a well-made 104, but that was the only wicket to fall as Ollie Robinson (82 not out) moved Durham into the lead.

Graham Clark has added 24 quick runs and the hosts lead by 29.

  7. Lunch at Tauntonpublished at 13:01 British Summer Time 18 May

    Somerset 338 v Sussex 152 & 224-7 f/o - lead by 38 runs

Somerset are absolutely dominating this County Championship contest.

It was Sussex who inflicted a heavy 260-run defeat on Somerset in the reverse fixture at Hove in April, but Somerset seem keen to get their revenge.

The hosts have picked up another three valuable wickets in the morning session and Sussex's lead is just 38 as we head for lunch.

Serious work to do for the visitors if they're to set any sort of challenging target.

  8. WORCS ALL OUT FOR 336published at 12:56 British Summer Time 18 May

    Worcs 358 & 134 v Essex 157 - Essex need 336 to win

Jamie Porter has a third as he traps Ethan Brookes lbw for 38.

Brookes was the Pears' top scorer and they have set Essex 336 to win.

That feels like a lot on a pitch that has seen plenty of wickets fall - but you never know.

Harmer took 4-37, Porter 3-30 and Snater 3-45.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:55 British Summer Time 18 May

    Bracey c Bell-Drummond b Ball 127 (Glos 429-7 v Kent 424)

Wow no holding back from James Bracey!

He goes huge with this one but it's more up than away and Daniel Bell-Drummond shows safe hands as the ball plummets back down to earth to dismiss the Glos batter.

Nonetheless another quality innings from Bracey who is fourth top run scorer in Division Two as it stands.

Glos also now have their noses in front.

  10. Postpublished at 12:53 British Summer Time 18 May

    Warwicks 48-2 - target 310

Sam Hain and Alex Davies are doing a good job of steadying the shop after those two quick wickets.

They've seen off opening bowlers Kyle Abbott and Brad Wheal - for now.

Hain turns James Fuller down to third man for his fourth boundary to go to 19 off 33 balls.

Alex Davies has picked up five boundaries in a 32-ball 26.

  11. Postpublished at 12:52 British Summer Time 18 May

    Middlesex 232 & 73-4 - lead by 31 runs v Leics 274

Ben Geddes survives Logan van Beek's hat-trick ball with a solid block.

But that's four wickets lost for just 22 runs for Middlesex and the advantage is now very much for Division Two leaders Leicestershire.

  12. 'He's played some lovely shots'published at 12:50 British Summer Time 18 May

    Lancs 458 v Derbys 192-6

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

It's been a very calm and well put-together display from Brooke Guest.

He's batted nicely here, he's swept well, he would have enjoyed batting here, completely unflustered.

  13. wicket

Ryan Higgins is gone first ball as he's caught by Peter Handscomb.

The wickets are starting to tumble for Middlesex at Lord's.

A third lbw of the day as Logan van Beek traps Leus du Plooy in front.

  15. 50 runs

50 for Brooke Guestpublished at 12:47 British Summer Time 18 May

    Lancs 458 v Derbys 186-6

Super stuff from the Derbyshire wicketkeeper.

Brooke Guest turns Luke Wells square into the legside and the ball beats the chase of the fielders to the rope. And that's fifty.

A 13th career red-ball half-century - and third of the season - and it's come in tricky circumstances.

  16. Postpublished at 12:47 British Summer Time 18 May

    Surrey 488-9 v Yorkshire 255

Surrey are racking up a commanding lead. Tom Lawes picks up three fours in a row off the first three balls of Matthew Revis' over.

Lawes moves onto 28 from just 23 balls.

    Very frustrating for Yorkshire.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:46 British Summer Time 18 May

    Waite c Pepper b Porter 8 (Worcs 358 & 129-9 v Essex 157)

Matthew Waite gets a thick edge on Jamie Porter's delivery and the Pears are now nine down but their lead has moved along nicely to 330.

That looks like a strong advantage on this pitch.

One more wicket for Essex to find.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:45 British Summer Time 18 May

    Andersson lbw b Balderson 0 (Lancs 458 v Derbys 182-6)

Double-wicket maiden for George Balderson as he angles on into the front pad of Martin Andersson.

Easy decision for umpire Paul Baldwin. Bang in front.

One brings two as they say. Anuj Dal is in with Derbyshire still 276 behind.

  19. Postpublished at 12:44 British Summer Time 18 May

    Surrey 475-9 v Yorkshire 255

Surrey seem determined to frustrate Yorkshire for a little longer...

Tom Lawes steps onto it beautifully from Jordan Thompson and clips it through the leg side for four.

Lawes then clubs one up in the air but it has enough to fly over Jonny Bairstow at mid-on and they can pick up another two.

The lead is now 220 for the hosts.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:41 British Summer Time 18 May

    Morley c Jennings b Balderson 41 (Lancs 458 v Derbys 182-5)

We have a breakthrough at Old Trafford.

George Balderson picks up his first wicket as nightwatchman Jack Morley chips him to Keaton Jennings at midwicket who takes a good low catch.

A career-high knock of 41, soaking up 100 balls comes to an end.

Martin Andersson joins Brooke Guest (46) in the middle.
