This feels very relaxed. It's not really a run chase, they're just getting the runs. And very quickly too.

    Yep, they're in a hurry.

    Filth.

A full toss from Liam Livingstone is launched over mid-wicket for Rassie van der Dussen.

They might be able to get an earlier flight for training in Dubai at this rate.

Too short from Rashid and pulled for four.

Rassie van der Dussen reaches his fifty with a gift. South Africa are going to win this at a canter.

That's not what you expect from Van der Dussen. He has been playing everything along the floor today, picking up singles and doubles but that six was there to be had.

    Target 180

Rassie van der Dussen hasn't been able to find the middle of the bat as regularly as his batting partner, but he's effortlessly plinked this one over the ropes off Adil Rashid.

    That's the 100 partnership, too.

  7. SA 139-2published at 24 overs

    Target 180

A quiet first over from Liam Livingstone, who could do with making some amends after his shot in the first innings basically summed up this entire tournament for England.

That was perfect for Klaasen to extend his arms and pull to the boundary. It's almost as if he is just practicing in the nets.

  9. SA 137-2published at 23 overs

    Target 180

Oh well, at least it will be over soon.

Unreal timing from Klaasen as he pummels a short ball from Archer past deep mid-wicket for four, before slapping the next past point.

A third boundary ends the over as Van der Dussen nudges the ball off his hips for four.

    Sloppy bowling.

  10. SA 123-2published at 22 overs

    Target 180

A quieter over, just three from it, as Klaasen and Van der Dussen are happy to just rotate the strike off Adil Rashid.

Klaasen rather likes playing against England as he brings up his half-century.

It just shows that the score England achieved was very, very average.

Another effortless stroke from Klaasen and a bit more pace off from Archer. Klaasen is a pleasure to watch he always finds the middle of the bat.

    What a player.

Two decent deliveries from Jofra Archer, two exquisite back-foot punches for four as Heinrich Klaasen reaches a 42-ball half-century.

He's single-handedly making England's 179 all out look extremely silly.

Klaasen really is exceptional. He's the only man in ODI history to score 2000+ runs at an average over 40 and a strike rate over 110. You'd back him to chase 69 in 30 balls - let alone 30 overs.

Klaasen has such sweet timing, he is such a clean striker of the ball. One bounce to the boundary and he gets it straight out of the bat.

  16. SA 111-2published at 20 overs

    Target 180

To be fair, this entire game has felt like nothing more than a warm-up match for South Africa, who must be thrilled that two of their best batters are able to basically have a glorified net session.

On cue, Heinrich Klaasen absolutely nails a short ball from Jamie Overton past square leg for four, and follows it with a crisp drive down the ground for the same result.

    Sigh.

Van der Dussen is not playing fluently today. South Africa seem very happy to milk their way to this score.

They are happy to take no risks and tick the scoreboard away. They want their batters in good form for the more important games going forward.

Watching an England cricket team look this flat, is a bit like watching the Welsh rugby team over the last year. It's a bit sad.

South Africa are totally in control of this game. If England could have got 260, we could have had a game on our hands.
