We're deep into the bank holiday weekend and there's still all to play for in three of the Championship matches in round five.

Kent are edging towards a rare win at Old Trafford, while in Division Two, Yorkshire are in a strong position to push for a final-day victory.

A draw looks odds on at Lord's despite a good day for Middlesex over Leicestershire, but who knows.

The umpires have been out again to check the light and this time decide that enough is enough.

It's been Middlesex's day as Sam Robson (162) and Leus Du Plooy (131) put on 250 for the third wicket.

Leicestershire bowlers stuck at their task and took six wickets after tea as Middlesex chased quick runs.

It looks odds on for a draw after the first day washout.

Kent are on the verge of an excellent win and it will be a thoroughly deserved win if they can get 93 more runs with nine wickets in hand.

The Kent captain Daniel Bell-Drummond is there alongside Ben Compton. They'll head off tonight having enjoyed their evening.

Lancashire have had a good day in terms of fighting back from a horrible position but the match is in Kent's hands.

Glamorgan are battling on pretty strongly you'd have to say.

They've weathered 60 overs today with 171 on the board for the loss of just those three wickets. They're not making it easy for Yorkshire.

A lot of hard work for Yorkshire to do tomorrow. We'll hope to hear about Matthew Fisher's fitness and whether or not he's going to be able to play on the final day.

A hint of turn as Daniel Bell-Drummond pushes the ball down the ground past short leg.

Bell-Drummond is back and across to block out the over and that's it. He survives on 39 and Ben Compton has batted patiently for a 58-ball 14.

Kent need 93 runs tomorrow and barring an epic collapse in the morning, they're in a great position to notch up a first Championship win of the season.

There is turn and bounce for the spin duo of Lyon and Hartley though, so don't discount the Red Rose county just yet.

Hats off to bowlers Matt Parkinson (here at Old Trafford as a Kent player this time) and Wes Agar.

They shared six wickets to help bundle the host team out for 332 shortly after tea this evening.

It's been a really calm approach by Ben Compton and after a slightly jittery start it has been by Daniel Bell-Drummond too.

They'll be in a pretty rosy position first thing tomorrow morning certainly if they can get through these three overs.

They can probably absorb another wicket.

Sam Northeast and Colin Ingram have dug in well to give Glamorgan hope of saving the game on day four.

They came together with the visitors in all sorts of trouble at 93-3 still 201 behind Yorkshire's first innings score.

But they have withstood all that Yorkshire spinners could throw at them to close with an unbroken fourth-wicket stand of 78.

The White Rose are still big favourites, but there is, at least, hope.

Dom Bess is in to Sam Northeast who is in full-on block mode and plays out a maiden.

There's a reshuffle in the field as Colin Ingram faces Dan Moriarty.

He pushes back to the first and Moriarty fields it.

Dots and then suddenly a loud appeal!

Moriarty turns pone into Ingram's front pad, but he looks to have got a little bat on it. Inside edge saves him.
