    Ben Compton is back to turn the ball away past forward short leg for a single.

    An LBW shout against Daniel Bell-Drummond is turned down as the Kent captain is forward to block down the pitch.

    Bell-Drummond is back and across to flick the fifth ball past leg slip for two more.

    Back and across again to push the ball down the ground for one.

    Good footwork from the Kent captain and that's the 50 partnership for the second wicket in 96 balls.

    He gets a bit of width outside off and tries to push through third man but Tom Hartley blocks the ball at backward point.

    Compton gets a single flicked past square leg.

    Tom Hartley is warming up in the field and may be in the attack shortly.

    A single brings Colin Ingram on strike and he glances a single to leg.

    Joe Root continues and Ingram takes him on sending one over the head of Dom Bess to the boundary for four. It takes Glamorgan past 150.

    The deficit is 145.

    Colin Ingram takes two off Joe Root to bring up the 50 partnership with Sam Noirtheast.

    It's not been comfortable for Northeast and Ingram but they have dug in, rode their luck at times and dispatched the bad ball when available.

    You feel a lot rides on their shoulders as far as Glamorgan hopes go.

    Northeast is on 32 and Ingram has 31.

    That's a tight leave from Ben Compton, moving back and across as the ball from Will Williams seams in from outside off and just passes the stumps.

    Single to mid wicket next ball.

    An appeal for caught behind next ball is turned down. Very close to the bat of Daniel Bell-Drummond but missing.

    Bell-Drummond is across and pushing the next ball to long on for one.

    Compton tries to cut the last ball through point but doesn't clear the field.

    He picks up four off Ben Green and then pulls out an extravagant hook for six next ball.

    Steve Eskinazi adds a boundary off Rehan Ahmed and a single brings Fernandes back on strike.

    He clears his front leg and launches another six with an almighty swing, this time over cover.

    He's raced to 25 off 20 balls.

    The lead is 83.

    A bit of risk there as Bell-Drummond moves across and sweeps Nathan Lyon.

    The ball bounces off the pads and runs away fine for four byes.

    That turned sharply. Bell-Drummond is well forward, driving down the ground for one as Ben Compton's bat is knocked out of his hands on the run.

    A replacement bat is coming on. Not sure what's wrong with the old one, but hey-ho.
