150 up for Somersetpublished at 12:36 British Summer Time

Durham v Somerset 150-3 (trail by 115 runs)

A wide from Ben Raine brings up Somerset's 150.

The visitors have ticked over very impressively this morning and will fancy their chances at this stage of the match with over a day and a half still to play.

    115 more runs still required.

    WICKETpublished at 22.1 overs

    Robson lbw Kuhnemann 66 (Glamorgan 383 v Middlesex 155 & 109-2)

Sam Robson plays around Matthew Kuhnemann's arm ball and is leg before. It was a very entertaining 58-ball knock with 13 fours, but Middlesex are still 119 behind as he departs.

  3. 'Professional performance by Sussex'published at 12:33 British Summer Time

    Hants 154 & 165 v Sussex 297 & 23-1

    Michael Carberry
Former England batter on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It's a professional performance from Sussex in all departments.

They've played the game as it should be played, they've read the conditions well.

They've been tough when they've needed to be, they've been flamboyant when they've need to be and they've bowled pretty well.

From a Hampshire point of view, there's a bit more head-scratching. They've got to find answers pretty quickly.

  4. Postpublished at 77 overs

    Surrey 279 v Essex 217 & 257-3

    Charlie AllisonImage source, Rex Features

Tom Westley may have a word with young Charlie Allison.

He flashes at an away-swinger from Tom Lawes and is fortunate not to get a nick.

Allison, though, redeems himself with an off-drive for four from the final ball of the over to bring up a 50 partnership and he moves to 25.

  5. Batting point for Kentpublished at 12:25 British Summer Time

    Derbyshire 587-5 dec v Kent 261-4

Kent earned a batting point when Jack Leaning pushed David Lloyd into an off-side gap for a single.

He is now 10 not out, with Ben Compton on 137 - they trail by 326.

  6. Postpublished at 12:25 British Summer Time

Worcs v Warwicks 114-4 (lead by 160 runs)

More good bowling from Jacob Duffy, who catches the inside edge but it somehow misses Ed Barnard's off stump and the ball goes for four.

The next ball is shorter and wider from Duffy and Barnard flashes one past gully for another boundary.

By hook or by crook, the runs are beginning to flow for the visitors.

  7. SUSSEX BEAT HAMPSHIRE BY 9 WICKETSpublished at 12:24 British Summer Time

    Hants 154 & 165 v Sussex 297 & 23-1

    Tom HainesImage source, Rex Features

Tom Haines hits the winning runs clipping Liam Dawson off his legs to deep midwicket and the two Sussex men scamper back for a second to register a nine wicket victory.

This has been a comprehensive win for John Simpson's men and the captain, wicketkeeper, batsman has had a man of the match performance.

HIs 106 in the first innings put Hampshire on the back foot at the halfway point and they never got forward from that stage on.

Jack Carson has made best use of the deflation in the Hampshire ranks in the second innings taking 5-26 but it was as much Henry Crocombe's 4-27 (including 3-1 in six balls) which turned the tide.

It is 20 points, a third victory of the campaign and a first away from Hove for Paul Farbrace's outfit capping a great return to the top flight following promotion.

  8. Essex pass 250published at 74.5 overs

    Surrey 279 v Essex 217 & 252-3

Tom Lawes overpitches and Tom Westley clips it unerringly through mid-wicket for four. He is 34 not out and Essex lead by 190.

  9. 'Warwickshire keep the scoreboard ticking'published at 12:21 British Summer Time

    Worcs 181 v Warks 227 & 104-4

    Jim Dale
    BBC Hereford and Worcester

It's been a profitable over for Warwickshire.

It seems silly but 12 runs is plenty in the context of this game.

It's good cricket from Ed Barnard, they're keeping to scoreboard ticking and keeping the pressure on the bowlers.

  10. rain stops play

Rain stops play at Headingleypublished at 12:20 British Summer Time

    Yorks 159 v Notts 228 & 297-4 (lead by 366 runs)

It is not raining hard but it is enough for the covers to be wheeled on and the players to be wheeled off.

Notts are leading by plenty but this weather interruption could well prompt a discussion in the dressing room about a target.

The weather forecast around the country on day four is not perfect and Notts probably already have enough to put a Yorkshire win out of reach.

  11. Robson aggression surprises Glamorganpublished at 12:18 British Summer Time

    Glamorgan 383 v Middlesex 155 & 100-1

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Middlesex have surprised everyone by coming out all guns blazing after following on 228 runs behind, with Sam Robson and Max Holden racing along at a run a ball for the first hour in an opening stand of 98.

Robson launched a savage assault on the seamers James Harris and Andy Gorvin bowling from the Cathedral Road end, who were unable to find the lengths that served them so well yesterday as the former England man raced to a 40-ball 50.

It looked like T20 had come early, but as Glamorgan switched their attack round, it was Aussie spinner Matt Kuhnemann who made the breakthrough as Holden was well taken at short leg by Asa Tribe.

Both teams know that today could be the final day with plenty of rain in Monday’s forecast.

  12. 100 runs

100 up for Warwickshirepublished at 12:17 British Summer Time

Worcs v Warwicks 103-4 (lead by 149 runs)

Too straight from Jacob Duffy and Sam Hain comfortably tucks the ball away to the boundary to bring Warwickshire's 100 up.

They lead by 149 runs with six wickets still remaining.

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:16 British Summer Time

    Carter c Albert b Dawson 7 (Sussex 10-1, target 23)

Oli Carter falls to a classic bit of off spin from Liam Dawson.

He is brought forward by the length trying to defend, but it dips on him, turns and kisses the edge.

Toby Albert takes the catch at slip.

  14. 50 runs

50 for Tom Lammonbypublished at 12:14 British Summer Time

Somerset 135-3 (trail by 130 runs)

Somerset's Tom Lammonby then works one in to the leg side for a couple and raises his bat for a well earned 50 off 70 balls.

    Lovely innings from the left-hander.

  15. 100 up for Middlesexpublished at 12:14 British Summer Time

    Glamorgan 383 v Middlesex 155 & 100-1

Middlesex have reached three figures at Sophia Gardens but have lost a wicket - Max Holden superbly caught at short leg by Asa Tribe from the bowling of Australia spinner Matthew Kuhnemann for 35.

The 100 came up as replacement Luke Hollman nudged Kuhnemann to third man for a couple of runs.

  16. Postpublished at 12:14 British Summer Time

    Leics 457 v Lancs 206 & 37-2

With due respect to what still has to come for Lancs you suspect both sides know that this partnership between Keaton Jennings and Marcus Harris holds the key.

These two certainly have the ability and concentration levels required to bat all day but, conversely, the hammer blow of removing them could weigh heavy in the Lancs dressing room.

  17. Division Two updatepublished at 12:11 British Summer Time

Gloucestershire have lost their first wicket of the day at Northampton, with Matt Taylor caught and bowled by Calvin Harrison for 36 - they are 222-5, with Cameron Green 19 not out.

Keaton Jennings and Marcus Harris - who passed 800 runs in the first innings - are trying to rebuild for Lancashire following the loss of those two quick wickets, they are 35-2 against Leicestershire.

Kent have progressed to 248-4 against Derbyshire, in sight of a first batting point, with Ben Compton still there on 128.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:10 British Summer Time

    J Rew c Lees b Ackermann 31 (Durham v Somerset 128-3, trail by 137)

Oh, what a cheap wicket to give away - James Rew what were you thinking?

Rew, who has looked so comfortable since coming to the crease, lobs one straight to Alex Lees off the bowling of Colin Ackermann to give Durham a sniff.

That was the perfect example of "throwing your wicket away."

  19. Postpublished at 71 overs

    Surrey 279 v Essex 217 & 235-3

There is some away swing there for Tom Lawes, but Charlie Allison watches the ball closely and drives smoothly to the extra cover boundary.

After a couple of early alarms, he is starting to settle in.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:06 British Summer Time

    Webster b Duffy 5 (Worcs v Warwicks 86-4, lead by 132)

Oh what a beauty! Worcestershire have got another!

The ball jags back at Beau Webster, but replays show it stays very low and it's unplayable as Jacob Duffy claims his off stump.

The hosts are still alive in this derby.
