    Hutton c Clark b Seales 4 (Notts 210-8 v Sussex 169)

Jayden Seales celebratesImage source, Rex Features

A bit of a mixed over from Jayden Seales, with one wide, a no ball flayed through point by Brett Hutton for four and some beauties on a length just outside off stump.

Still enough to keep the three slips interested. Four slips now.

Out! Sussex are ripping through Notts this morning and Brett Hutton is the latest to go.

Drawn forward to block and a thin edge is brilliantly taken at second slip by Tom Clark, diving across first slip. It looked like both slippers were going for the catch there.

Josh Tongue will bat next, somewhat earlier than he might have expected today.

Sussex have taken 5-46 this morning.

  2. Postpublished at 11:58 British Summer Time 26 April

    Worcestershire 162 v Durham 89-6

George Drissell's positive knock has taken him to 20 from 30 deliveries, three of them hit to the fence.

Graham Clark has eight from 31 at the other end and they have added 31 runs in short order to turn the pressure back onto the Pears attack.

The deficit is down to 73.

  3. Postpublished at 11:56 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey 43-0 v Somerset 283

Kasey Aldridge replaces Josh Davey in the Somerset attack and Rory Burns flicks the first ball to long leg for one.

Dom Sibley plays down the wrong line prodding forward and the ball pops into the off side safely via a leading edge. Movement there.

Sibley tucks into a less threatening full leg side ball, glancing it square for four runs.

  4. 'They haven't given the openers too much to work with'published at 11:54 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey 38-0 v Somerset 283

    Dean Wilson
    Summariser on BBC Radio London

It's been a feature of this morning's play, Somerset bowlers have been bowling fairly straight.

They haven't given the openers too much width to work with.

  5. Division Two updatepublished at 11:53 British Summer Time 26 April

    #bbccricket

Derbyshire collect their second batting bonus point with 16 balls to spare.

Martin Andersson (31*) and Luis Reece (20*) have passed 50 for this sixth-wicket too, now on 303-5.

Ian Holland (22*) has been joined by Ben Cox as Leicestershire seek to close their 116-run deficit with five wickets in hand against Gloucestershire at Bristol. They are 136-5.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:50 British Summer Time 26 April

    O'Neill c Clark b Robinson 0 (Notts 202-7 v Sussex 169)

Third wicket of the innings for Ollie Robinson and Sussex have absolutely aced the first hour of play.

Fergus O'Neill is squared up, blocking from the crease and he's edged that on the top half of the bat to Tom Clark, who takes the ball at shoulder height.

Brett Hutton is in and Notts are on the ropes.

  7. Postpublished at 11:49 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey 36-0 v Somerset 283

Four more runs to the Surrey captain, as Rory Burns cuts a short, wide ball just past third slip and through to deep third.

Davey tightens his line and no more runs are scored in the over.

  8. 'Clark and Drissell trying to change the game'published at 11:48 British Summer Time 26 April

    Worcestershire 162 v Durham 74-6

    Frank Watson
    BBC Hereford & Worcester

In the last 10 minutes these two have hit the ball with a bit of purpose and timing, I guess trying to impose themselves a little bit.

The scoreboard might not have changed much, but you can see they are trying to be positive, upset the bowlers a bit.

It's a fascinating battle within a battle. There's a lot going on here.

Every 10 runs is really important in a game like this.

  9. Postpublished at 11:47 British Summer Time 26 April

    Notts 202-6 v Sussex 169

Liam Patterson-White takes Notts past 200 in the 47th over with a deflection through mid wicket on the front foot off the bowling of Jayden Seales.

33 in front now and every run from here is crucial to the fortunes of both sides.

  10. Postpublished at 11:44 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey 32-0 v Somerset 283

Migael Pretorius comes into the Somerset attack, replacing captain Lewis Gregory.

Dom Sibley is solidly forward to block.

Somerset have put the lid on the scoring rate after a bright start but no breakthrough for the visitors as of yet.

  11. 'Robinson celebrates in classic fashion'published at 11:44 British Summer Time 26 April

    Notts 198-6 v Sussex 169

    Adrian Harms
    BBC Sussex

It's a terrific catch from John Simpson.

Ollie Robinson celebrates in classic fashion with a clenched fist.

Sussex have had a good start to this match this morning, it's two big wickets for Robinson.

WICKETpublished at 11:42 British Summer Time 26 April

    Hameed c Simpson b Robinson 85 (Notts 198-6 v Sussex 169)

    Sussex celebrateImage source, Rex Features

Ollie Robinson is bowling around the wicket to Liam Patterson-White and the left-hander allows the ball to go through to keeper and Sussex captain John Simpson.

The fourth ball is shorter and pulled square without quite nailing the shot and he runs a single.

Big breakthrough as Haseeb Hameed is gone next ball!

The Notts captain is drawn forward to block and he nicks it to the keeper. Great catch from John Simpson, low and to his right.

Dream start for Sussex after a bruising Day One and Fergus O'Neill is in next.

  13. Division Two updatepublished at 11:38 British Summer Time 26 April

    #bbccricket

    Gloucestershire celebrateImage source, Rex Features

Dom Goodman has made an impressive return for Gloucestershire and has picked up his third wicket, finding the edge of Lewis Hill's bat with Cam Bancroft taking a great catch low to his right at second slip to send the in-form Foxes man on his way for 55 and the 81-run stand with Ian Holland. The Division Two leaders are 122-5, still 130 in arrears.

Martin Andersson and Luis Reece have added 41 for the sixth Derbyshire wicket and are nine runs away from a second batting point, 291-5 against Middlesex in the 105th over.

  14. Postpublished at 11:38 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey 29-0 v Somerset 283

Rory Burns survives an LBW shout from Lewis Gregory.

No problem with height but it looks like he's outside the line.

Burns ends the over with a drive to long off for four.

  15. Postpublished at 11:36 British Summer Time 26 April

    Notts 196-5 v Sussex 169

Sussex will be confident of restricting Notts to a small innings lead if they can prize Haseeb Hameed out.

He drives Jayden Seales square on the off side for one to reach 83.

Seales bowls round the wicket to Liam Patterson-White, who gets off strike with a drive into the off side.

    27 ahead.

  16. 'Carnage at New Road'published at 11:34 British Summer Time 26 April

    Worcestershire 162 v Durham 63-6

    Melinda Farrell
Sports broadcaster/journalist on BBC Hereford & Worcestershire

It's carnage by the River Severn.

We're half an hour into day two and we've had 16 wickets fall already.

Every time someone shapes up to drive you're just waiting... there's a constant threat.

  17. 'Not too much happening for the opening bowlers'published at 11:34 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey 25-0 v Somerset 283

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

Not too much happening for the Somerset opening bowlers just yet.

The outside edge has been passed on a number of occasions.

  18. Postpublished at 11:32 British Summer Time 26 April

    Worcestershire 162 v Durham 63-6

Graham Clark shows the outfield doesn't matter if you time it perfectly... cracking Tom Taylor past mid-off to the rope.

That stroke doubles the number of runs scored in the opening 32 minutes, only one of the previous four came off the bat, three were leg byes.

  19. Postpublished at 11:31 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey 25-0 v Somerset 283

A full-blooded straight drive from Dom Sibley beats bowler Josh Davey and knocks the middle stump out the ground at the non-striker's end.

So annoying for any batter. Looked like four the moment he touched it.

    Maiden over.

  20. Postpublished at 11:28 British Summer Time 26 April

    Notts 190-5 v Sussex 169

Jayden Seales is bowling a very good spell here.

Decent pace, bounce and movement away from the off peg.

A bit too much width on his fifth delivery of his latest over though and Liam Patterson-White gets off the mark with a square drive for two.

    21 ahead.
