Jake Libby goes for 37 and Scott Currie has done it. What figures he has at the moment, 2-14 starting his fourth over and that's a big wicket.

Libby who averages well over 50 in this day cricket has fallen, the thinnest of outside edges.

What started off brightly for Worcestershire has become a little more of a test as they work through their reply.

    Big wicket.

Worcs needed Jake Libby to stay in to give themselves a better chance here but he's just edged behind to give Scott Currie a second scalp.

The pressure was building with runs needed and he went for a big shot but just got it wrong.

It's looking tricky for Worcs now.

  4. Postpublished at 19 overs

    Hants 237-7 v Worcs 107-3 - DLS target 188

The run rate has crept above 10 now.

No signs of panic from Worcs but they do need to start finding the boundary with more regularity.

And as I write that Ethan Brookes strokes Kyle Abbott away for four.

Fine shot from Ethan Brookes goes for four, offering a glimpse of his talent.

Jake Libby then takes a single to get Worcs to 100.

Kashif Ali never got going at all. They put on 62 in 10 overs but Kashif is not great reverse sweeper to be fair, he's forced into it and he hit it dead straight to Fletcha Middleton, who didn't have to move.

    That's big blow for Worcs.

Kashif Ali picks out Fletcha Middleton with reverse sweep off the spin of Andrew Neal and departs for 25 from 33.

His partnership with Jake Libby was solid but unspectacular.

Ethan Brookes comes to the crease - he's more than capable of a big innings and Worcs need that from him now.

Worcestershire will still fancy their chances, the equation is still quite comfortable at this stage, I don't think there's any need to panic.

They've got a partnership which is the main thing they're after. Can they keep it going?

Kashif Ali and Jake Libby reach the 50 partnership.

A lucky boost there for the former as he edges Andrew Neal but it flies past the keeper and away for four.

The sun is now shining down on Trent Bridge and it looks beautiful out there.

Those hardy fans who have stayed throughout the day are being rewarded at last.

Scott Currie sticks out a hand to stop Kashif Ali's straight drive and likely saved a couple there.

It's been a while since the last boundary.

Worcs are dealing in singles at present and they need more.

Easier said than done against Kyle Abbott and Scott Currie though.

Hampshire will know that at some point they'll need to find a boundary in every over. Can't afford to have dot balls so that will definitely be going through Jake Libby's mind.

That's the most authoritative shot of the innings so far and it's been played by Jake Libby. Not often we say that about Jake Libby but he's absolutely smashed that over the mid-wicket boundary for six.

    Great shot.

That's woken up the Worcestershire fans.

With the following delivery, Kashif Ali looks to go for the big shot but the ball sticks in the turf and is prevented for going for four by sub fielder Tom Prest on the boundary.
