  1. SA 219-8published at 45 overs

This is a lively cameo from Nonkululeko Mlaba.

First, she smashes a straight drive for a one-bounce four. The next delivery is clubbed into the on-side towards Alice Capsey, who dives forward to attempt the catch but just cannot get there and the ball squirms past her for another boundary.

So much of this South Africa side relies on Wolvaardt, Kapp and De Klerk. Sometimes you get the odd miraculous innings from another player but the main bulk of runs comes from those three.

  3. SA 208-8published at 44 overs

That's a decent shot from Nonkululeko Mlaba as she heaves the ball over mid-wicket for a welcome boundary for South Africa.

Sophie Ecclestone responds with a beauty that grips and turns away from Mlaba, beating her all ends up outside the off stump.

Ecclestone ends with figures of 2-26. Another superb effort.

  4. SA 203-8published at 43 overs

Nonkululeko Mlaba is the latest member of South Africa's long tail to stride out to the middle.

South Africa's innings has just melted away. They have lost three wickets for four runs from the last five overs

A filthy dismissal. It was so badly played and a classic shot of a tailender.

  6. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 42.3 overs

    Klaas c Sciver-Brunt b Dean 0 (SA 201-8)

    Easy as you like.

Charlie Dean gives it some air and Masabata Klaas lofts the ball straight to Nat Sciver-Brunt at mid-off.

Klaas departs for a seven ball duck.

Thankfully Mieke de Ridder is fine to continue.

  8. ouch!

    SA 201-7published at 41.4 overs

Mieke de Ridder goes for the ramp shot from Sophie Ecclestone but can only top-edge the ball striaght into the side of her grille.

De Ridder looks okay but the physio will come out for a concussion test.

There's a clear gap between bat and ball but the third umpire has gone from the spike that was on ultra edge.

    That looks quite dubious.

  10. Not outpublished at 41.1 overs

Hmm. There is a spike on Ultra-Edge but it looked like there was a gap between bat and ball, so it could have been ball on pad?

Not according to the third umpire, who quickly calls not out.

    Not sure about that.

  11. England reviewpublished at 41.1 overs

Mieke de Ridder is trapped way back in her crease and Sophie Ecclestone strikes the top of her back pad.

Ecclestone is convinced so England send it upstairs.

  12. SA 201-7published at 41 overs

Don't forget England have been a bowler light after Kate Cross suffered a back spasm in the first over of the match.

Alice Capsey finished that over so she is now bowled out after 9.1 overs with figures of 2-59.

Huge wicket for England, getting rid of the dangerous Chloe Tryon. In the death overs of ODI cricket, Tryon strikes at 143. Of the 14 players to have scored more than 500 death runs (since 2007), only Nat Sciver-Brunt scores at a faster rate (145).

That's a massive wicket because Chloe Tryon was South Africa's last recognised batter. It's just the bowlers to come now.

Heather Knight has marshalled her bowlers excellently today.

  15. wicket

Tryon st Jones b Ecclestone 20 (SA 200-7)

Yep. One of the easiest decisions a third umpire will ever make.

England racing through this batting line-up now.

The TV umpire is checking even though Chloe Tryon is halfway back to the dressing room! It's the perfect end to a perfect over from Sophie Ecclestone.

  17. Umpire reviewpublished at 40 overs

Chloe Tryon looks to have been stumped by an absolute mile, but the third umpire is going to have a check anyway.

Alice Capsey has been expensive but she's got two really important wickets at crucial moments in the game.

There's still 11 overs left. Mieke de Ridder just needs to hang in there with Chloe Tryon.

  20. SA 199-6published at 40 overs

An eventful over that featured a couple of wides to go with that wicket. But the smile on Alice Capsey's face says it all.

That may just stifle the momentum South Africa were stating to build.

Mieke de Ridder is the new batter.
