  3. Important partnership for Durhampublished at 12:05 British Summer Time 20 May

    Lancashire v Durham 206-3 (target 475)

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Durham are still in the fight and it is David Bedingham and Ollie Robinson who are leading the resistance in Blackpool.

Both have reached 50s in this second innings and both for the sixth time this season. It's nice to see Robinson back in the runs after a nervy start last night and consecutive scores of one and none.

If Durham are to achieve anything today it's vital this partnership continues to grow. It's currently worth 110 runs.

  4. 'Cox continues to impress for Essex'published at 12:04 British Summer Time 20 May

    Glenn Speller
    BBC Essex sport

Jordon Cox gets his second three figure score for Essex.

He stands in the middle of the pitch, takes his helmet off and waves to all corners of the ground.

He continues to impress for Essex since making the move from Kent.

50 for James Fullerpublished at 12:03 British Summer Time 20 May

    Notts v Hants 133-5 (target 169)

Calivin Harrison tosses the ball up to James Fuller, who waits in the crease and gets half forward to drive down the ground for his fifth four.

That takes him to 50 in 78 balls.

It's his first 50 of the season as he and Fletcha Middleton continue to settle the nerves in the Hampshire dressing room.

Only 36 more runs needed for victory.

  6. 100 for Jordan Coxpublished at 12:03 British Summer Time 20 May

Successive boundaries off Michael Rae take Jordan Cox to a well-deserved century!

Cox has batted superbly here and hooks Rae for four before driving the next ball through midwicket to reach three figures from 185 balls.

It's the sixth first-class hundred of his career and his second since joining Essex at the end of last season.

50 for Fletcha Middletonpublished at 11:58 British Summer Time 20 May

    Notts v Hants 127-5 (target 169)

Dillon Pennington is back in the attack and starts his latest spell with a maiden.

Fletcha Middleton is forward to leg spinner Calvin Harrison pushing the ball through mid wicket and that's his 50 in 119 balls with two fours.

A priceless innings in the context of a tense chase.

That's his second score of 50 or more for Hampshire this season with a top score of 116 at home against Warwickshire.

  8. 200 up for Durhampublished at 11:57 British Summer Time 20 May

    Lancashire v Durham 200-3 (target 475)

It's all about ticking off a series of landmarks for Durham and this is another as the total passes 200.

The partnership between David Bedingham and Ollie Robinson is also into three figures as Lancashire continue striving for the breakthrough.

They had an opportunity just now when Bedingham went to cut Nathan Lyon, but Luke Wells at slip was unable to hold onto the very sharp chance.

WICKET Finch c Rew b Davey 20published at 11:54 British Summer Time 20 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 455-6 f/o - lead by 79

Josh Davey has been absent for part of this game with a sickness bug but he'll feel a lot better after that.

Harry Finch is forward to defend and gets a thin edge behind.

It's another good catch for keeper James Rew, taken low and diving to his right.

    Joey Evison to bat next.

  11. Postpublished at 11:51 British Summer Time 20 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 454-5 f/o - lead by 78

Harry Finch is leading a slightly charmed life as he gets a nick wide of leg stump for four off Lewis Gregory (albeit off a no ball) and is beaten outside off stump.

The Kent 450 comes in the 97th over.

  12. 50s for David Bedingham and Ollie Robinsonpublished at 11:51 British Summer Time 20 May

    Lancashire v Durham 192-3 (target 475)

David Bedingham wins the race to 50 with his partner, nudging a single off George Balderson to get there from 72 balls.

Ollie Robinson follows suit two deliveries later - he's taken 87 balls although he's been in pugnacious mood so far this morning.

Better news from a Lancashire perspective is that Saqib Mahmood, who went off the field earlier after pulling up while bowling, has now returned.

  13. Glamorgan hold Middlesex uppublished at 11:50 British Summer Time 20 May

    Glamorgan 183 & 346-7 Middlesex 343

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Glamorgan’s eighth wicket pair of Zain Ul Hassan and Mason Crane made Middlesex wait for their fourth innings chase with a composed half-century stand.

An overnight lead of 134 looked nowhere near enough to challenge the visitors, after Tom Helm claimed two wickets with the new ball late on a very lengthy third day.

Crane, whose maiden first-class 50 came just a couple of wickets ago, used the pace of the ball well to pick up boundaries to fine leg and third man, while Ul Hassan pulled Bamber for six in a rare display of aggression.

But Middlesex still have plenty of time in hand before the game starts moving away from their grasp in the Cardiff sunshine.

  14. Postpublished at 11:49 British Summer Time 20 May

    Notts v Hants 122-5 (target 169)

Another bowling change for Notts as leg spinner Calvin Harrison is brought into the attack replacing Olly Stone.

Three more runs ticked off the target in that over.

James Fuller is back in the crease defending his wicket against Dane Paterson.

He's nearly castled by a loose drive but fortunately doesn't deflect the ball into the timbers.

    Maiden over.

  15. 'Kent's best chance of win is if they get bowled out'published at 11:48 British Summer Time 20 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 452-5 f/o - lead by 76

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

Kent's best chance of winning this game may lie on being bowled out because if they don't get bowled out then I think they're going to make the game safe.

But if they get bowled out for let's say another 150 or so - they can can have a real go at Somerset in the fourth innings.

And you never know with Somerset, their batting is famously brittle.

  16. Postpublished at 11:45 British Summer Time 20 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 446-5 f/o - lead by 70

Joe Denly plays Migael Pretorius down into the ground and the ball is close to deflecting into the bails. Phew.

A couple more runs come from that over and Kent are roughly a couple of hours of batting away from this point to getting a draw.

  17. Postpublished at 11:42 British Summer Time 20 May

    Notts v Hants 119-5 (target 169)

There's a silly mid off in for Dane Paterson and Fletcha Middleton is beaten on a loose defensive prod outside off stump.

Just the one run from the over and the gap is down to 50.

  18. Postpublished at 11:40 British Summer Time 20 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 444-5 f/o - lead by 68

A brief pause in play as Lewis Gregory asks the umpires to change the ball but the answer is no.

An appeal for LBW against Harry Finch is turned down.

Good ball, jagging in from outside off but it's too high.

  19. Postpublished at 11:39 British Summer Time 20 May

    Essex 256-4 (target 330) v Warwickshire

So far, no joy with the new ball for Warwickshire, although Michael Rae did tempt Matt Critchley into a swing and a miss as the ball zipped just over his stumps.

But Essex are just ticking off the ones and twos as they whittle down the target and now just 74 are required for victory.

  20. Postpublished at 11:38 British Summer Time 20 May

    Notts v Hants 118-5 (target 169)

Fletcha Middleton is forward to Olly Stone, pushing the ball safely to square leg for one.

He's on 46 and is doing a sterling job for Hampshire.

James Fuller moves to 41 with a single pushed through cover.

Stone gets away with a bumper off the last ball of the over which keeper Joe Clarke takes well down the leg side.
