Washington Sundar has left eight out of his first ten balls.
Shardul Thakur's single in the last over come off the second delivery, this time it comes off the first ball of Chris Woakes' effort.
And as with the last over, Washington Sundar sees out the rest of the over without scoring.

Jasprit Bumrah, in these conditions, could be a very tasty prospect.

There's more nip, there's more carry, there's more everything.

We've got an exciting morning developing here, Jofra Archer got the breakthrough and a beautiful catch by Harry Brook. England have done exactly what they wanted to, they got out Ravindra Jadeja who's been a thorn in their side. You just feel like another breakthrough is close.
Shardul Thakur takes a single to mid-wicket for the one run from Jofra Archer's over.
A reminder that this 276-5 is effectively 276-6 as we're not expecting Rishabh Pant to bat again in this innings (and probably not again in the series).

Outstanding start from Archer and a worldy of a catch too!
Andy, Lancashire
Shardul Thakur gets a couple of fours from Chris Woakes' second over of the morning.
He gloves the opening delivery down to the fine leg ropes, then lashes through the covers three balls later.
A further single takes him to 29 from 49 balls.
'That was an emphatic shot' - Thakur hits Woakes for four

Jacob Wadsworth: Can we take a second to appreciate Harry Brook's ability in the field, unbelievable consistency & regularly takes very tough chances.
Washington Sundar walks out to bat for India.
He leaves the final delivery from Archer.

This is hardly a newsflash, but Harry Brook has turned himself into an outstanding second slip.

That wicket has broken Ravindra Jadeja's sequence of four consecutive 50s.

Great catch. It's just doing a bit for Jofra Archer now. There was a good healthy edge but that's a cracking catch from Harry Brook. Jofra Archer has got that line and length spot on at the moment and another left hander, Washington Sundar, has just come out. Slips, get ready.
Jonathan Agnew
BBC Chief Cricket Commentator on Test Match Special
Jofra Archer is delighted and that's a very, very big wicket caught by Harry Brook, beautifully caught, it couldn't have been much lower. The ball moved away and that is a fantastic catch.
Jadeja c Brook b Archer 20 (Ind 266-5)
Edged, short. Edged, short. Edged, caught!
Jofra Archer is causing chaos immediately!
His opening delivery is edged by the left-handed Ravindra Jadeja just short of Ben Duckett at gully, who then gets a single square.
Shardul Thakur then plays and misses with a big booming drive attempt, then drops an edge into the ground in front of Harry Brook at second slip and takes a run from it.
But no matter - Archer gets his wicket with his third edge of the over, with the ball nicking Jadeja's bat and flying towards the cordon, where Harry Brook takes a fine diving catch to his right.
England take first blood early on day two.
Archer has two deliveries edged before removing Jadeja

England need to dislodge Ravindra Jadeja, he's a canny operator and will get stuck in. If they keep India at around 320/330, they'll be happy with that.
Chris Woakes starts our day off with a maiden to Shardul Thakur.
The India all-rounder offers some solid early defence to the new ball.

We're set up for a great day. It's a bit overcast and there's that muggy feeling out there again. There's a length at Old Trafford where the ball just moves a little bit more, it's a bit of a fuller length so we'll see how they start.
Sir Alastair Cook
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special
The pitch is rock hard. I don't think it's going to deteriorate, what we saw yesterday, I think we'll see that for all five days.
Ind 264-4
India's Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur are walking out to the middle.
England didn't take the new ball yesterday evening in the bad light, but they'll have it now.
Chris Woakes gets the first over of the day.
