  1. 'What an over for Pennington'published at 14:12 BST 26 September

    Notts 374 v Warwicks 258 & 108-8

    Melinda Farrell
Sports broadcaster/journalist on BBC Radio Nottinghamshire

Well can you believe it? Michael Booth certainly cant.

What an over it's been for Dillon Pennington.

  2. ESSEX ALL OUT FOR 438published at 14:11 BST 26 September

    Essex 438 v Somerset 433

Jamie Porter comes and goes in just four balls and Essex end with a slender lead of five.

It felt like it could have been way more than that when Paul Walter and Dean Elgar were going so well yesterday.

Craig Overton began turning the tide with 6-88.

A loose drive from the crease off Jack Leach is pouched by Josh Thomas in the deep on the off side.

    Back in 10 minutes.

  3. Close!published at 14:11 BST 26 September

    Hants 55-0 (target: 181)

Big appeal from Dan Lawrence and Ben Foakes for a nick off the edge of Ali Orr's bat which receives a shake of the head from the official.

That looked close, Orr was pushing forward and missed it and Lawrence is disappointed. Not as disappointed as is when Foakes lobs the ball back to him and it hits him on the head.

A good rub rather than a concussion check should be enough for that one though.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:07 BST 26 September

    Bennett c&b Leach 22 (Essex 432-9 v Somerset 433)

Charlie Bennett goes back to Jack Leach to drive and lofts the ball gently back to the bowler.

The number 11 (Jamie Porter) is in.

  5. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:06 BST 26 September

    Booth b Pennington (Notts 374 v Warwicks 258 & 104-8)

Three in the over for Dillon Pennington!

Michael Booth fences with an angled bat but the ball rolls back in to the stumps.

Taz Ali is in and the gap is still 12.

  6. 'Dominos are tumbling now for Warwickshire'published at 14:04 BST 26 September

    Notts 374 v Warwicks 258 & 104-7

    Melinda Farrell
Sports broadcaster/journalist on BBC Radio Nottinghamshire

Dillon Pennington strikes again, two wickets in three balls, that was a wicked delivery.

That is the 200th first-class wicket for Pennington. He has bowled brilliantly throughout this match has the former Worcestershire man.

Dominos are tumbling now for Warwickshire.

  7. 150 runs

150 up for Glamorganpublished at 14:02 BST 26 September

    Glamorgan 265 & 152-6 v Lancashire 374

Colin Ingram is on 25 and Chris Cooke 17 as Glamorgan pass 150 runs in Cardiff.

The pair have added 25 since Billy Root (4) fell lbw to George Balderson, who has 3-50.

  8. 50 runs

50 up for Hantspublished at 14:01 BST 26 September

    Hants 50-0 (target: 181)

A single from Fletcha Middleton off Rahul Chahar brings up the first milestone in this chase with the applause starting to accompany every run now at Southampton.

This pair have settled nerves very well and can Hants start to plan another season in the top flight?

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:01 BST 26 September

    Barnard c Verreynne b Pennington 9 (Notts 374 v Warwicks 258 & 104-7)

Gone! Dillon Pennington takes his 200th wicket!

It's a beauty, bouncing and leaving Ed Barnard via the edge for a keeper's catch.

    Michael Booth is in next.

  10. wicket

WICKETpublished at 13:59 BST 26 September

    Buchake c Cox b Wright 1 (Northants 6-1 - target 501)

Chris Wright strikes early in his last game for Leicestershire.

Arush Buchake is forward to defend and edges to the keeper.

    Rob Keogh is in next.

  11. Glos eight wickets downpublished at 13:58 BST 26 September

Gloucestershire are now eight wickets down against Middlesex.

James Bracey couldn't convert his 50 into a 100 as he went for 60 and Ajeet Singh Dale followed him back into the pavilion shortly afterwards for five.

Both wickets were taken by Zafar Gohar who has 4-49 from 20 overs.

Gohar has taken five wickets once already this season but can beat his previous best of 5-121 you'd have thought.

He has 34 wickets in the campaign.

  12. Postpublished at 13:57 BST 26 September

    Yorks 427-7 (lead by 81 runs) v Durham 346

A misfield just about sums up how things are going for Durham.

George Hill pulls Ben Raine firmly to the square leg boundary and David Bedingham races in to meet it but is done by the spin and it slips by him for four.

Hill now bullies a low full toss from Shafiq Ghafari through to cow corner to move to 75.

Yorks are piling on the pressure and Durham are just keeping fingers crossed for a Surrey win you feel.

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 13:56 BST 26 September

    Malik LBW b Pennington 32 (Notts 374 v Warwicks 258 & 103-6)

Play that! The ball from Dillon Pennington keeps low, jags in and strikes Zen Malik on the pad when he's stuck on the crease.

Gone! Warwickshire are still 13 adrift as Dan Mousley makes his way to the middle.

  14. Postpublished at 13:55 BST 26 September

    Essex 423-8 v Somerset 433

Great shot from Charlie Bennett, driving Jake Ball handsomely into the off side for four. 10 behind now.

Essex have five overs after this one to reach maximum batting points.

A pause in play as the umpires have decided the ball is out of shape and a replacement is needed.

  15. Five wickets for Jack Morleypublished at 13:54 BST 26 September

    Kent 260-6 v Derbyshire 698-6 dec

A fifth wicket for Derbyshire's Jack Morley and he does all the work himself.

A second caught and bowled of the innings as he takes a sharp catch to dismiss Ekansh Singh who made 71.

Morley also took a great catch yesterday for a caught and bowled on Mikey Cohen.

  16. Postpublished at 13:53 BST 26 September

    Notts 374 v Warwicks 258 & 101-5

    Close!

Ed Barnard pushes Lyndon James into the on side and tries to run.

He's sent back by Zen Malik and has to dive and duck under the return throw to make his ground.

There was never a single there, surely. Good fielding from James.

Shot! Driven down the ground for four to take the Bears to 100 in the 42nd over.

The innings gap is down to 15.

  17. Postpublished at 13:53 BST 26 September

    Hants 40-0 (target 181)

Two slips in for Fletcha Middleton and Matthew Fisher gets an outside edge as the batsman tries to turn it to leg.

He had no control over that but Ryan Patel can't gather despite a dive and it goes for four.

A firm push down through point brings 10 off the over and Hants are cruising.

Rory Burns is bringing the spin of Dan Lawrence into the fray.

  18. 'We'll just stick to trying to survive for now'published at 13:51 BST 26 September

    Hants 30-0 (target: 181)

    Amelia Clark
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

If Hampshire win they can get 161 points and that would put them as it stands at the minute sixth but that obviously depends on no other team getting any more points in the competition which is unlikely.

So it's a little bit too tricky to say at this this stage, we'll just stick to trying to survive for now.

  19. Postpublished at 13:50 BST 26 September

    Essex 418-8 v Somerset 433

Four runs to Charlie Bennett, riding the bounce to swat Craig Overton almost off his eyebrows and behind square.

He gets a single off the last ball of the over and now Jack Leach is coming into the Somerset attack at the other end.

  20. Postpublished at 13:48 BST 26 September

    Yorks 414-7 v Durham 346

With Hants just needing another 151 against Surrey and with 10 wickets in hand Durham will be fearing the worst here as Yorks glide on effortlessly at Headingley.

Ben Raine continues to charge in wholeheartedly but with Yorks leading by 68 runs already and in no mood to engineer a result it's all going wrong for the northernmost county.
