    Dave Bracegirdle
    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

The first time that Olly Stone has taken four wickets in an innings for Nottinghamshire. It's only his fifth game, a terrific effort from him.

But Keith Barker was at the crease for less than two hours with an innings that's transformed the game.

  4. Five-wicket haul for Tom Aspinwallpublished at 17:02 British Summer Time 18 May

    Lancashire 357 v Durham 236

What a session - and a day - it's been for Tom Aspinwall!

The young Lancashire medium-pacer records his maiden first-class five-for, taking the final Durham wicket by trapping Callum Parkinson leg before.

Aspinwall finishes with 5-41 and Durham, despite Paul Coughlin's 17 not out, are dismissed for 236 after losing their last five wickets for 23.

Yadvinder Singh continues from the Vauxhall End and Dan Lawrence is forward, turning the ball through square leg for four.

  8. Postpublished at 16:57 British Summer Time 18 May

    Surrey 213 & 219-4 v Worcs 128 - lead by 304

An expensive over from Nathan Smith as the other Smith (Jamie) drives for four through mid off and gets four more with a swivel pull square off the next ball.

In the next over, Jamie Smith and Dan Lawrence celebrate a 100 partnership in 137 balls and a 300 lead as Lawrence is forward and squeezes an inside edge off Yadvinder Singh in front of square on the leg side for one.

A glorious extra cover drive on bended knee by Jamie Smith brings four more.

  10. wicket

WICKET: Barker b Stone 74published at 16:54 British Summer Time 18 May

    Notts 235 v Hants 234-6

It's been a great knock from Keith Barker, but now it's over as Olly Stone gets one through to collect his fourth wicket.

Barker departs for 74 from 78 balls and his partnership of 157 with Liam Dawson has swung the contest very much back in Hampshire's favour.

James Fuller joins Dawson at the crease now.

  11. wicket

WICKET: Potts b Aspinwall 6published at 16:52 British Summer Time 18 May

    Lancashire 357 v Durham 232-9

What a spell this has been for 20-year-old Tom Aspinwall - he's now got four wickets to his name.

Matthew Potts is Aspinwall's latest victim, castled by a ball that came back at him and kept low.

Last man Callum Parkinson comes out, with Aspinwall licking his lips at the chance of a five-for...

  12. Postpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 18 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 11-1

Daniel Bell-Drummond sees out the Craig Overton over and now Josh Davey will bowl to Ben Compton.

In theory we have 31 overs left tonight but the overheads are gloomy and the floodlights are on.

Matt Renshaw is in at forward short leg and three slips are in.

Ben Compton gets a single second ball and Bell-Drummond gets a couple of leg byes as the ball runs away fine.

Davey beats the outside edge but the Kent captain survives.

  13. Kent back on at Tauntonpublished at 16:45 British Summer Time 18 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 8-1

Daniel Bell-Drummond has one ball to face from Craiig Overton, who had his over disrupted by rain.

Ben Compton is eight not out at the other end.

  14. 'Some start to the evening sessionpublished at 16:45 British Summer Time 18 May

    Lancashire 357 v Durham 222-8

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

Ben Raine gets himself all tangled up and Tom Aspinwall gets his third.

It's been some start to the evening session.

Tea has come at a shocking time for Durham, they were scoring so nicely, David Bedingham and Graham Clark.

    Surrey 213 & 200-4 v Worcs 128 - lead by 285

Jamie Smith celebrates passing fiftyImage source, Rex Features

Jamie Smith moves to his half century in style with a flowing drive through mid off and a neat checked drive through cover point three balls later, played from the crease.

    83 balls and nine fours.

That's his third 50 of the season and he also has one century, having made 155 in the last round here against Warwickshire.

  17. wicket

WICKET: Raine c Bruce b Aspinwall 0published at 16:37 British Summer Time 18 May

    Lancashire 357 v Durham 222-8

Make that three wickets in two and a half overs after tea...

Tom Aspinwall has another as Ben Raine attempts to turn the ball off his pads and gets a leading edge that loops into the hands of Tom Bruce at second slip.

Durham are suddenly staring at a sizeable first-innings deficit, which looked unlikely prior to the interval.

  18. Play resumes at Chelmsfordpublished at 16:35 British Summer Time 18 May

    Essex 123-7 v Warwickshire 397

Essex had looked to be relatively comfortable with that second wicket partnership between Jordan Cox and Simon Harmer just before the break.

The pair had put on 44 before Cox fatally missed a reverse sweep off Rob Yates and was bowled.

Simon Harmer resumes on seven not out and his new partner is Shane Snater, facing Rob Yates, who has two balls left in his over.

  19. wicket

WICKET: Clark lbw b Lyon 24published at 16:33 British Summer Time 18 May

    Lancashire 357 v Durham 221-7

Already a great start to the session for Lancashire - and it's just got even better.

Nathan Lyon has his fourth wicket, with Graham Clark attempting to work him off the back foot and getting pinned in front of the stumps.

Ben Raine comes to the crease with Durham still 136 behind and just three wickets standing.

  20. Back under way at Trent Bridgepublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 18 May

    Notts 235 v Hants 198-5

Lively start to the evening session, with Keith Barker clipping Olly Stone for a boundary and then misjudging the next ball as he tried to hook.

Barker gets a whack on the helmet, so he'll get that checked over - but will hopefully be fine to continue. He's the kind of warrior who would bat - and maybe bowl - on one leg if he had to!
