  2. wicket

Five wickets for Roland-Jonespublished at 14:22 British Summer Time 17 September

    Derbys 133-8 (Chappell lbw b Roland-Jones 0) v Middx

    And another!

Five for Toby Roland-Jones now as he squares up Zak Chappell and nips one away slightly to have him lbw on the back foot bang in front for a seven-ball duck.

    Derbyshire simply have no answer.

They have now lost six wickets for just three runs!

  3. wicket

WICKET Goodman c Crocombe b Clark 2published at 14:20 British Summer Time 17 September

    Glos 109 v Sussex

Two wickets in four balls in the 44th over and Gloucestershire's first innings is at an end as Dom Goodman is caught.

Tom Clark's double gives him figures of 3-17 and denies Jaydev Unadkat (4-32) a five-for.

  4. 50 runs

50 for James Whartonpublished at 14:18 British Summer Time 17 September

    Glam v Yorks 174-2

The hosts are finding this hard graft against a well-set third wicket partnership between James Wharton and Jonathan Tattersall.

Wharton has just moved to his half century and the pair are well on their way to a century partnership having come together at 85-2.

  5. wicket

WICKET Umeed c Jennings b Bailey 0published at 14:18 British Summer Time 17 September

    Lancs 140 v Somerset 0-1

Keaton Jennings was dropped from the first ball of the match.

Jennings shows no such leniency to Andy Umeed at the start of the Somerset reply.

The right-hander tries to leave the ball alone but it cuts back in and deflects off the face to Jennings, who takes it well in the slips.

  6. wicket

    WICKET: Lloyd c & b Bamber 2published at 14:17 British Summer Time 17 September

    Derbys 133-7 v Middx

    This is getting ridiculous!

David Lloyd pushes forward far too firmly and pops a simple return catch back to Ethan Bamber.

Five now gone for only three runs!

Derbyshire now in danger of being fired out.

  7. wicket

WICKET T Price c Alsop b Clark 25published at 14:16 British Summer Time 17 September

    Glos 107-9 v Sussex

Remember that flying catch by Andrew Strauss that was endlessly repeated.

This one by Tom Alsop is its equal as he grabs it in mid-air moving to his right from first slip.

Maximum bowling points for the Division Two leaders.

  8. Postpublished at 14:16 British Summer Time 17 September

    Lancs 140 v Somerset 0-0

So the first part of the job has been done by Somerset's bowlers.

Now it's over to their batting line-up - and remember, there is no Tom Banton in the team for this game because of an ankle injury.

Andy Umeed and Archie Vaughan are the opening pair.

  9. Postpublished at 14:13 British Summer Time 17 September

    Kent v Notts 193-0

There is still something in there for the fast bowlers, but the fast bowlers aren't doing enough with it.

So Daniel Bell-Drummond has thrown the ball to leg-spinner Matt Parkinson.

It is slow, it is loopy but the over only goes for four runs.

  10. wicket

WICKET: Westley lbw b Hannon-Dalby 30published at 14:10 British Summer Time 17 September

    Warks 78 v Essex 41-2

The Essex skipper was less than happy with that one, believing he had got a distance down the pitch and indicating with an ostentatious rub of his thigh, just how high he thought that was.

He may have a point but little else and Warwickshire have a second.

That was an important breakthrough as Essex had already reduced the target by half and were beginning to look more comfortable for that second wicket.

  11. 50 runs

50 for Haseeb Hameedpublished at 14:08 British Summer Time 17 September

    Kent v Notts 186-0

A century in the second innings at Essex last week and now a fifty at Canterbury.

Haseeb Hameed already has 1,000 in an excellent season. He keeps chugging along.

He and Ben Slater are piling in on the runs.

  12. wicket

WICKET: Thomson lbw b Roland-Jones 0published at 14:08 British Summer Time 17 September

    Derbys 133-6 v Middx

Full on panic now for Derbyshire as a fourth wicket goes down in just 26 balls with only three runs added.

Toby Roland-Jones with a fourth wicket.

He's full and straight, Alex Thomson falls to the off side, tries to play around his front pad, misses, and is gunned down by the umpire. before he can look up.

What a spell for Middlesex, who are now in control of the day.

  13. wicket

WICKET Bailey c TKC b Gregory 16published at 14:06 British Summer Time 17 September

    Lancs 140 v Somerset

Tom Bailey and Will Williams clearly like life on the edge, judging by some of their running between the wickets.

Bailey, though, gives a ball from Lewis Gregory an unceremonious clout over mid-on and collects four runs.

It's hit final scoring shot as he gets underneath the ball when he tries it a second time and Tom Kohler-Cadmore pouches the catch.

Gregory finishes with 4-50 and Craig Overton, the pick of Somerset's attack, with 4-32. Lancashire lost their last six wickets for 33 runs since lunch.

  14. 'Vince has to go'published at 14:05 British Summer Time 17 September

    Emily Windsor
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

"That's the breakthrough Worcestershire needed but a few players have come out to the Hampshire dressing room to say that isn't out. I think that is Liam Dawson. But Vince has to go. The umpires don't get any replay footage so the decision has to stay."

  15. wicket

WICKET: Bedingham c Foakes b Lawes 37published at 14:00 British Summer Time 17 September

    Surrey v Durham 134-5

And now the other set batsman for Durham, David Bedingham, also falls!

Tom Lawes gets on to nip away from the right-hander, who follows it and gets a healthy edge to a diving Ben Foakes.

Surrey right back on top now.

  16. Postpublished at 13:59 British Summer Time 17 September

    Lancs 132-9 v Somerset

Lancashire's last-wicket pair have clearly decided there is no point just hanging about.

Will Williams hits Lewis Gregory for four and then lofts down the ground for a couple more.

  17. wicket

    WICKET: Donald b Roland-Jones 0published at 13:58 British Summer Time 17 September

    Derbys 131-5 v Middx

My days what a mini-collapse this is! 3-1 in 13 balls!

Toby Roland-Jones gets some bounce and it takes the glove of AneurinDonald into his stump and he walks off with a six-ball duck.

  18. wicket

WICKET: Madsen c Robson b Bamber 20published at 13:58 British Summer Time 17 September

    Derbys 130-4 v Middx

    Another for Middlesex!

Wayne Madsen flashes hard outside off stump and edges high to first slip.

It may have bounced a little on him.

Easy catch at head height for Sam Robson.

  19. Postpublished at 13:57 British Summer Time 17 September

    Warks 78 v Essex 18-1

Warwickshire wicketkeeper Michael Burgess and the four strung across the cordon to his right are very much in the game here.

OHD and Chris Rushworth may not have the ball singing, but it is warbling a little and it is not easy going for Essex's batters.

Big appeal for leg before against Tom Westley by Rushworth correctly turned down but there is aerial movement.

  20. wicket

    WICKET: Came b Roland-Jones 66published at 13:57 British Summer Time 17 September

    Derbys 130-3 v Middx

Big wicket for Middlesex as the captain Toby Roland-Jones produces a beauty that nips away, goes past the outside edge of Harry Came and takes out off stump.

    Breaks a stand of 77.
