  1. Under way at The Ovalpublished at 16:27 10 May

    Surrey v Warwickshire 195-6

Three wickets in each of the first two sessions for Surrey. They'll fancy their chances of taking caring of business and polishing off the final four after tea, surely?

Jordan Clark opens up the evening session.

  2. Resumption at Trent Bridge toopublished at 16:26 10 May

    Notts v Lancashire 208-4

Dillon Pennington draws an edge off George Bell's bat first up, but soft hands see it land short of the slips.

  3. Back on in Southamptonpublished at 16:24 10 May

    Hants 212-2 v Durham

Pete Siddle goes for two singles off his opening over after tea.

Ali Orr 121* and James Vince 28*.

  4. 'Game nicely balanced'published at 16:21 10 May

    Tea: Notts v Lancashire 208-4

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

It hasn't worked yet for Lancashire's overseas batter, Tom Bruce.

So far this season he's had scores of 17, 0, 26, five, 0 and 12, its safe to say he's overdue.

Lancashire would welcome a contribution from a player who has over 5,500 first-class runs at a shade under 50.

A wicket on the stroke of lunch and two towards the end of the afternoon session keeps this game nicely balanced.

  5. Evening session starts at Canterburypublished at 16:20 10 May

    Kent v Worcestershire 210-3

Into the final 32 overs of the day at Canterbury, you'd think a lot of those will be spin, given that Matt Parkinson has picked up the only couple of scalps to fall since Wes Agar ousted Jake Libby in the ninth over of the morning.

Gareth Roderick's sole focus is securing back-to-back centuries.

  6. 'Dramatic reversals of fortune at Sophia Gardens'published at 16:17 10 May

    Tea: Glamorgan v Sussex 186-7

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Dramatic reversals of fortune at Sophia Gardens where previously successful Sussex are struggling, while Glamorgan’s bowlers have had a fruitful day after a couple of matches of hard labour.

The visitors looked to be building nicely at 131-3 when India veteran Cheteshwar Pujara, on 41, tried to run Mir Hamza to third man only to nick it to Chris Cooke.

Pakistani paceman Hamza then won lbw verdicts against John Simpson and James Coles in his most successful spell for Glamorgan, while James Harris had Danny Lamb caught at slip to leave the visitors 140-7.

But Fynn Hudson-Prentice led Sussex’s counter-attack towards respectability in the sunshine, with Glamorgan’s change bowlers offering accuracy but not the threat of Hamza and Harris.

Just an observation from the tea scoreboard there - just how similar the scores are in three of the Division One games.

    210, 210 and 208.

Warwickshire are still yet to breach the 200-run threshold against Surrey.

The Oval: Surrey v Warks 195-6

    Division Two

    Cardiff: Glamorgan v Sussex 186-7

    Northampton: Northants v Gloucestershire 222-4

  9. Tea at Cardiffpublished at 16:06 10 May

    Glamorgan v Sussex 186-7

An excellent session for the hosts who have Sussex seven down at tea.

That's mainly down to the work of Mir Hamza 4-42 and James Harris 3-52.

Work to do for the league leaders.

  10. Tea at The Ovalpublished at 16:06 10 May

    Surrey v Warwickshire 195-6

Australian leggy Cam Steel was brought into the attack for an over before tea as Rory Burns tries to engineer a breakthrough.

Ed Barnard has become the first visiting batter to pass 40 with a slightly unconvincing cut for four while Michael Burgess has a nuggety six from 25 balls.

Surrey will seek to polish off the innings in the final session.

  11. Tea at Trent Bridgepublished at 16:05 10 May

    Notts v Lancashire 208-4

Kiwi Tom Bruce has been short of runs so far in his stint with Lancashire, but having gifted his partner George Bell a long hop last over, the previously consistent and miserly enough Calvin Harrison gifts Bruce a full toss first ball of the last over.

Five dots sees Bruce finish 10* and Bell 7*.

  12. Tea at Northamptonpublished at 16:02 10 May

    Northants v Glos 222-4

Three wickets in the afternoon session and they all belong to Northants' debutant Siddarth Kaul who has 3-49.

He took the scalps of Cameron Bancroft, Ollie Price and James Bracey.

Miles Hammond claimed a half-century and has since moved on to an unbeaten 83.

  13. Tea at Canterburypublished at 16:00 10 May

    Kent v Worcestershire 210-3

Kent have regained a bit of a foothold in the game in the afternoon session but will need to make further inroads after tea if they are to consider this a good day at the office.

Gareth Roderick has slowly and steadily moved to 72 from 186 balls while Adam Hose has three from 10 deliveries.

Matt Parkinson has a couple of wickets to show for his efforts.

  14. 200 for Lancashirepublished at 15:57 10 May

    Notts v Lancashire 203-4

George Bell slaps a half tracker from Calvin Harrison easily for four to bring up the landmark.

Still 2.4 overs to go until tea in this one.

  15. Tea in Southamptonpublished at 15:55 10 May

    Hants 21-2 v Durham

Brydon Carse appeals for lbw on James Vince twice in the final over, both slightly better appeals than Ben Raine's, but still not hitting any of the important five wooden things. The latter being a no ball not helping either.

Ali Orr 120* and Vince 27*.

32 overs to come tonight after this 20 minute break.

  16. WICKET: D'Oliveira c Bell-Drummond b Parkinson 18published at 15:50 10 May

    Kent v Worcestershire 203-3

Kent have a bowling bonus point. A couple of balls after an edge dropped short of slip, skipper Brett D'Oliveira is out, coming forward to defend Matt Parkinson's delivery but only glancing a low edge through to Daniel Bell-Drummond who takes a neat catch at slip. Parkinson has 2-46 from 14 overs.

Adam Hose is the new man, joining Gareth Roderick.

  17. Postpublished at 15:49 10 May

    Surrey v Warwickshire 185-6

Ed Barnard is the third Warwickshire batter to pass 30. None of them have reached 40 yet.

He's hogging the strike, Michael Burgess has only faced nine balls, scoring three from them.

  18. WICKET: Balderson lbw b Stone 38published at 15:49 10 May

    Notts v Lancashire 196-4

One brings two and all that, Keaton Jennings will be even further frustrated at his reverse sweep attempt.

He has deserved a wicket has Olly Stone, George Balderson trapped in front lbw.

Stone dead, a much better shout than his potential England seam-bowling rival Ben Raine just went up for on the south coast.

59 overs complete, five overs to go until tea.

  19. 200 for Hampshirepublished at 15:47 10 May

    Hants 203-2 v Durham

Not in the most orthodox way, an appeal for lbw that was clearly going down leg, but Ben Raine with his blonde mop appeals enthusiastically for that, nothing doing, one leg bye.

62 overs it took, maximum batting bonus points still on the cards?

  20. 200 up for Worcestershirepublished at 15:46 10 May

    Kent v Worcestershire 199-2

The run-rate has melted away in the last half-hour like one of the aforementioned 99s, but the visitors have moved within 50 runs of their first batting bonus point in the 61st over.

Gareth Roderick has moved onto 68* while his captain is on 18 and they have combined for 33 from 70 balls since Kashif Ali departed.
