  1. 150 runs

150 for Nottspublished at 18:15 British Summer Time 25 April

    Nottinghamshire 158-3 v Sussex 169

Beautiful again from Haseeb Hameed who brings up the 150 with another four off the spin of Jack Carson - also helped by a mis-field from Jayden Seales, to be fair.

Two balls later Hameed takes a step down and there's that characteristic high flurry on the follow through as yet another drive races along the deck to the fence.

Notts trail by 11. Two overs left today.

  2. 'Gloucestershire would love another wicket'published at 18:12 British Summer Time 25 April

    Gloucestershire 252 v Leicestershire 68-4

    Ed Seabourne
    BBC Radio Bristol

Gloucestershire would love another wicket or two before the close of play.

If you offered them one, they'd definitely take it.

  3. Postpublished at 18:12 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 233-7

Josh Davey nudges Gus Atkinson away off the back foot for one and Lewis Gregory punches the next ball to deep cover for one more.

    The partnership is worth 46.

  4. Postpublished at 18:07 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 231-7

Dan Worrall bowls full to Josh Davey, who blocks.

He pushes the ball out a tad wider and Davey leaves.

Davey keeps the strike with a single pushed on the front foot behind square into the off side.

  5. 50 runs

50 for Hameedpublished at 18:07 British Summer Time 25 April

    Nottinghamshire 145-3 v Sussex 169

    Batted Haseeb Hameed.

It's another pretty half-century from the Notts skipper, who has now notched 158 runs since he was last dismissed - and 280 for only once out.

He moves on to 50 - the 42nd of his first-class career - as he tucks one from Ollie Robinson into mid-wicket with little fuss.

Jack Haynes then finishes the over with a pull for four as Notts can see the Sussex first-innings total honing into view.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 18:05 British Summer Time 25 April

    Robinson lbw b Waite 0 (Worcestershire 162 v Durham 51-4)

Ollie Robinson is out for a 17-ball duck after a torrid spell in the middle.

Big shout from Matthew Waite and the cordon as the ball strikes him infront, on the back leg it seems. Robinson doesn't love the decision but he has to go.

Will Rhodes remains on 15 from 50 balls and is joined by nighwatcher Jack Blatherwick with six overs remaining in the day.

  7. Postpublished at 18:04 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 230-7

Lewis Gregory gets a bit of bat on a back of a length ball from Gus Atkinson, nudging the ball wide of the two slips for one and Josh Davey gets a single to the off side.

The Somerset pair trade singles until the fifth ball bouncer, which Davey ducks.

Another short ball is worked behind square leg for one.

  8. Postpublished at 17:59 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 226-7

Dan Worrall has been a bit out of sync in this spell as an attempted yorker fizzes past the leg stump of Josh Davey.

He also bowls very full and wide of the off stump and that's an easy leave for Davey.

    11 overs left tonight.

Peter Handscomb departsImage source, Rex Features

    Gloucestershire 252 v Leicestershire 53-4

Just as the visitors were establishing themselves, captain Peter Handscomb falls to another Ollie Price catch for eight runs, off the bowling of Zaman Akhter.

Lewis Hill has managed to get himself onto a quick 22 from 29 balls.

    Derbyshire 249-5 v Middlesex

Another captain who has been dismissed is Wayne Madsen (49) narrowly misses out on a half century after Toby Rowland-Jones grabs his second wicket of the innings. The skipper was looking for a fifth half-century of the young season but has passed 400 runs in that innings.

Two balls later Brooke Guest is also removed after a perfect ball from Dane Paterson for his first wicket of the match.

  10. Postpublished at 17:56 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 226-7

Gus Atkinson is a bit leg side to Josh Davey, who nudges the ball past short leg for four and this is becoming a handy partnership for Somerset.

Davey gets one more run to the on side and Lewis Gregory moves to 25 with a single to mid off.

Atkinson fires in a bumper to Davey, who sways back and evades it.

He glances the last ball of the over leg side for one.

    The partnership is worth 89.

  11. 50 runs

50 partnership for Hameed & Haynespublished at 17:56 British Summer Time 25 April

    Nottinghamshire 133-3 v Sussex 169

After 29 runs from three overs, Ollie Robinson has been brought back to try to apply the anchors for Sussex.

And his first over back is tight enough, with three singles coming from it.

We're inside the last 10 overs of the day and Notts will want to reach stumps with Haseeb Hameed and Jack Haynes still there.

Haynes has looked in good touch (he should be after his belting 142 against Essex) and has four good-looking boundaries so far.

Make that five as he flashes a drive to the cover rope to end the over as Tom Clark sees his figures blow out 26 runs from three overs.

  12. Postpublished at 17:52 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 219-7

Shot! Lewis Gregory drives Dan Worrall handsomely through the off side with a big flourish of the bat for his third four.

Somerset remain precariously placed but there's hope of a batting point or two with Gregory in this kind of touch.

  13. Postpublished at 17:49 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 213-7

Gus Atkinson will take what we presume is the new ball at the other end.

He starts off with a bouncer and Josh Davey ducks under it.

Davey tucks the second ball off his hip for two.

  14. Postpublished at 17:48 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 211-7

Jordan Clark to continue the bowling.

Lewis Gregory gets a single worked to leg and Josh Davey drives into the off side for two.

Davey survives a shout for LBW as he flicks the ball leg side for one more and it is indeed off the bat.

That's the Somerset 200 in the 80th over.

One more to Gregory through the off side.

Dan Worrall is back into the attack and concedes two fours, both smashed through point by Lewis Gregory, one on the back foot and one on the front.

  15. Postpublished at 17:44 British Summer Time 25 April

    Nottinghamshire 106-3 v Sussex 169

Tom Clarke's first delivery of the match comes close to 'carvery' status as he's gentle long-hop is dispatched to the fence by Haseeb Hameed through mid-wicket.

He ends a good four-ball sequence with a definite help-yourself one as a full-bunger is clattered through point.

Hameed goes up to 39 and takes Notts to the cusp of a hundred.

Which is brought up in the next over.

  16. Postpublished at 17:44 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 211-7

Three slips in for Dan Worrall.

Single to Lewis Gregory into the off side and Josh Davey gets one driving to cover off the back foot.

A bit more width on the third ball and Gregory slaps it through point on the back foot for four.

Four more carved through point, this time on the front foot.

WICKETpublished at 17:39 British Summer Time 25 April

    Ackermann b Waite 5 (Worcestershire 162 v Durham 43-3)

Matthew Waite strikes with his second ball.

Colin Ackermann has played and missed at a few already and plays just inside the line before seeing his off-stump clattered. His nervy vigil is over.

Ollie Robinson joins Will Rhodes in the middle. They'll be desperate to be there at stumps... but the conditions, and the Pears attack, won't make that easy.

  18. Division Two updatepublished at 17:37 British Summer Time 25 April

    #bbcefl

    Gloucestershire 252 v Leicestershire 32-3

The Foxes have avoided any more losses as they look to build a score with Lewis Hill (8*) and captain Peter Handsomb (3*) at the crease.

With a minimum of 16.4 overs remaining, the visitors will be hoping to build a partnership.

    Derbyshire 234-3 v Middlesex

Captain Wayne Madsen (42*) edges towards a half-century as the hosts close-in on 250 runs for a batting bonus point.

There's a minimum of 12 overs remaining in this one.

  19. Postpublished at 17:35 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 196-7

Three slips in for Jordan Clark, bowling to Josh Davey who shoulders arms and allows the ball to pass.

    Maiden over.

James Taylor gets a ball to keep low to Lewis Gregory but he survives and gets a single next ball to mid off.

Two runs to Davey, driving through the off side.

A leg side fourth ball is deflected fine off the pad for four byes.

Pretty much impossible for any keeper to have stopped that one.

  20. Postpublished at 17:34 British Summer Time 25 April

    Worcestershire 162 v Durham 39-2

Really uncomfortable spell this for Durham.

Jacob Duffy is steaming in, the bounce isn't always consistent, it's murky, still 14 overs on the slate...

Will Rhodes has five from 25 balls with newly-arrived Colin Ackermann on four.

Extras is the second leading scorer in the opening 11 overs, behind the departed Ben McKinney who made a blistering 24 in his cameo.
