    Surrey v Somerset 153-4

That Tom Lammonby dismissal was bonus wicket for Surrey really and now James Rew is tested by a short ball which he jabs down safely into the leg side for one.

Kasey Aldridge is the latest batter to be beaten outside off stump trying to defend against Jordan Clark and Surrey are bossing this passage of play.

Remember, Sean Dickson is technically not out but there must be some doubt he will bat again in this innings after being struck on the index finger of his right hand by a Gus Atkinson short ball in the third over of the game.

    Gloucestershire 206-8 v Leicestershire

The Gloucestershire revival continues thanks to James Bracy (60*) and Josh Shaw (35*) (pictured) as their partnership passes 60 runs.

The last wicket fell at 142-8 and the hosts will be feeling a lot better about their position now.

    Derbyshire 159-1 v Middlesex

This partnership between David Lloyd (92*) and Harry Came (58) has passed 150 runs, as Lloyd looks to reach his century.

It's been 58 overs of these two at the crease for the hosts.

    Surrey v Somerset 150-4

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

Bit of a bonus wicket, that for Surrey.

Bit of a misjudgement from Tom Lammonby.

He must have forgotten he was taking guard on off stump so he was already a long way across.

    Lammonby b Worrall 76 (Surrey v Somerset 150-4)

Eight overs left till tea and Surrey will be very pleased if they can prize out one more wicket on top of the superb control the bowling attack has produced this afternoon.

Tom Lammonby defends against Dan Worrall into the off side and he gets a thick inside edge driving at the third ball of the over, which rolls away safely into the leg side.

He'll get runs here though, driving his next ball to deep cover for two.

Out! Bowled round his legs trying to turn it to fine leg! Goodness me, what an odd way to go after such a patient knock.

    Kasey Aldridge is in next.

    D'Oliveira lbw b Raine 28 (Worcestershire 134-7 v Durham)

Ben Raine has 2-16 from 16 overs after a good shout for leg-before against the skipper Brett D'Oliveira.

He thinks it's hit him outside the line, but either way he has to walk.

Tom Taylor joins Ethan Brookes with their side needing a stand from somewhere.

    Tongue wraps it up.

Sussex are dismissed for 169 as the players go in for tea.

Three wickets in the over for Josh Tongue who finishes with 5-44 from 14 overs.

Jayden Seales bagged down the leg side, nudging one off his thigh to Kyle Verreynne who is across with ease to take the catch.

Tongue's second five-wicket haul of the season already. England will take note.

He'll be on a hat-trick too in the Sussex second dig.

    Carson c Duckett b Tongue 6 (Nottinghamshire v 169-9)

Josh Tongue celebratesImage source, Rex Features

    Tongue again!

The Notts quick has four now and it's another top catch in the corden - this time from Ben Duckett.

It's another booming drive, takes the edge, and Duckett does the rest.

  8. Postpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 150-3

James Rew is in defensive mode here, blocking Jordan Clark into the off side.

He doesn't get a bat on the fourth ball though, which passes the outside edge as he tries to block down the ground.

    Another maiden over.

  9. Postpublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 150-3

Surrey are very much on the attack here with three slips and a gully in play and James Rew is beaten by away seam outside off.

Dan Worrall is back in the attack at the other end and his first over is a mixture of wide off stump deliveries with a couple sliding past the left-hander's leg stump.

    Maiden over.

WICKETpublished at 15:32 British Summer Time 25 April

    Hudson-Prentice c Clark b Tongue 30 (Nottinghamshire v Sussex 169-8)

    Fynn Hudson-Prentice perishes to an ex-Worcestershire one-two.

Just got a bit carried away perhaps, FHP, whose breezy knock is over.

Josh Tongue is back in the attack and has tempted the batter into having a go at a widish one.

FHP wafts at it and the edge flies to first slip. It's slightly behind Joe Clark, who reacts superbly to hang on to a brilliant catch.

  11. Postpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 150-3

Tom Lammonby survives an appeal for caught behind off Jordan Clark as the ball appears to brush the thigh pad on the way to the keeper.

There's some late movement in the air for the bowler here.

Lammonby gets a shorter, wider ball which he cuts to deep point for a single to move to 74 not out.

    That's the Somerset 150 in 53.4 overs.

  12. A day for the debutants at New Roadpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 25 April

    Worcestershire 125-6 v Durham

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Durham gave debuts to three bowlers today - Jake Ball, Codi Yusuf and Jack Blatherwick. And so far two of them have been in the wickets.

Ball took all three to fall this morning, before South African Yusuf bagged two this afternoon. He got New Zealand debutant Henry Nicholls LBW for 42 in the 43rd over. The ball shot through low and got him around about the lower shin.

Nicholls had been battling away nicely on a tough batting track and faced 115 balls before his innings ended. A few minutes later Matthew Waite edged Yusuf to Blatherwick in the gully and departed for eight.

Runs are hard to come by. The outfield is very slow and there haven't been many boundaries.

In normal circumstances this total may be worth at least another 30 runs more than it currently is.

  13. 'It's great to see how far he's come'published at 15:26 British Summer Time 25 April

    Derbyshire 145-1 v Middlesex

    Kevin Hand
    BBC Radio London commentator

Harry Came has really steadied the ship which is exactly what Derbyshire needed.

It seems like he's making strides every year, it's great to see how far he's come, he's improving every year I see him.

  14. Postpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 149-3

Two left-handers at the crease for Somerset now.

Tom Lammonby leaves a ball outside off that bounces sharply on a length and swings.

A brilliant diving take from Ben Foakes prevents any byes.

Lammonby cuts the next ball past Dan Lawrence, who has half stopped the ball and that's a single.

50 for Harry Camepublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 25 April

    Derbyshire 144-1 v Middlesex

Harry Came has joined David Lloyd in the half-century club, tucking into the leg side and beating the throw to the stumps for a single to reach the milestone from 157 balls with six fours.

His 12th first-class fifty and second of the season.

The stand with Lloyd is now 139 and counting...

  16. Close call for FHPpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 25 April

    Nottinghamshire v Sussex 164-7

Sussex almost gift a wicket to Notts.

Fynn Hudson-Prentice turns Farhan Ahmed into mid-wicket and they set off of a single.

Ben Duckett is across in a flash, picks up and throws it over the bails to Kyle Verreynne who clatters the stumps.

It's VERY tight but FHP makes it and takes a blow on the point of his right elbow for his troubles.

    Looks in some pain.

Sussex will hope he can shake that off.

  17. Postpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 147-3

James Rew is forward to Jordan Clark, pushing tentatively at his first ball, which beats him outside the off stump.

He digs out a full length ball and he'll get off the mark with a single to mid on.

  18. 'It's a well-deserved 50'published at 15:21 British Summer Time 25 April

    Gloucestershire 189-8 v Leicestershire

    Richard Rae
    BBC Radio Leicester Sport

He's been in excellent form recently and he's continued in this partnership for Gloucestershire.

    It's a well-deserved 50 for James Bracey.

  19. Postpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 25 April

    Surrey v Somerset 146-3

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

    It's hard going out there.

It's not easy for the Somerset batsmen.

There's still plenty in this pitch for the quicker bowlers.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 25 April

    Banton c Foakes b Clark 26 (Surrey v Somerset 146-3)

A bit of frustration from Tom Banton, who tries to force a ball away off side on the back foot off Jordan Clark and misses.

That definitely moved off the seam and the shot carries risk with a fielder at deep backward point.

    Out this time!

He's edged his next ball off a defensive bat going half forward, fuller of length this time to keeper Ben Foakes.

James Rew joins Tom Lammonby in the middle.
