  1. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 27 April

    Pretorius c Foakes b Taylor 54 (Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 117-8)

Four more to Migael Pretorius off James Taylor driven through the off side but now he's out!

Driven and edged to Ben Foakes, diving at full stretch to his right to grab the chance with one hand.

Another fine catch in an exemplary spell of Surrey fielding today.

That ball was nearly past him. Extraordinary.

Jack Leach joins his Somerset captain in the middle.

  2. Postpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 67-5 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

A handy 25-run partnership, this, between Ben Cox (15*) and Peter Handscomb, who has 12* from 40 balls.

Are they just turning the tide back in the Foxes favour?

    76 needed. Or five wickets.

  3. 50 runs

50 for Migael Pretoriuspublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 113-7

    James Taylor bowls.

Migael Pretorius drives... thick edge to deep third for four and that takes him to a worthy 50!

He has a first class batting average of 29 and that is in fact his second 50 this season.

He got the other one in the second innings v Sussex at Hove.

This one arrives in 43 balls with seven fours.

  4. 50 runs

That has been rapid from Ben Duckett who reaches his half century in 23 balls. Two big sixes (again off Jack Carson) bring him to the brink and a single delivers it.

  5. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 27 April

    Geddes b Thomson 59 (Derbyshire 472 v Middlesex 261-7)

    Big wicket.

Spinner Alex Thomson gets one to turn a mile back through the gate of Ben Geddes as he drives and, one ball after being clobbered for six, Thomson has a precious breakthrough. Geddes was in great touch.

Zafar Gohar is the new batter, joining Jack Davies who has 12 from 76 balls.

Still 62 needed to avoid the follow on, with three wickets in hand.

This pitch is seriously taking turn.

  6. Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 109-7

Dan Lawrence is back into the attack, bowling to Migael Pretorius on 45 not out.

Make that 46 as he is forward to drive through the off side for one.

Lewis Gregory seizes on a bit of width, waits in the crease and cuts to point for four runs.

Gregory survives an LBW shout. Hit on the back pad just outside off.

  7. Postpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 63-5 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Josh Shaw drifts onto the legs of Ben Cox who needs no invitation to rattle to the rope to take the required runs down to 80.

  8. 'It's on a knife edge'published at 15:11 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 57-5 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

    Richard Rae
    BBC Radio Leicester Sport

They're bowling really well Gloucestershire, they're keeping it tights as Leicestershire did.

The Holland wicket was a big one I think.

It feels like it's on a knife edge.

  9. 50 runs

50 for Hameedpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 27 April

    Notts 300 & 114-1 (target 148) v Sussex 169 & 278

A second half century of the match from the Notts captain who is steering his side to a victory here that will cement his side's position at the top of the Division One table.

It has come in 71 balls and contained eight fours.

  10. Postpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 104-7

James Taylor is into the second over of his spell and Migael Pretorius shovels the ball to fine leg for four more to pass the 40-mark.

    He has 43.

He has one hand off the bat next ball, driving to cover point for one.

A no ball follows and Lewis Gregory takes Somerset to 100 in the 32nd over with a drive to backward point off a thick edge for four.

A single to long leg and one more off drive from Pretorius brings one more run.

13 off the over and Somerset lead by 20.

  11. 100 runs

    Notts celebrateImage source, Rex Features

A single off the final delivery of the over from Fynn Hudson-Prentice brings up the hundred and now Ben Duckett is going after Jack Carson again with a swept six and a well-timed cover drive for four.

  12. Postpublished at 15:07 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 57-5 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Another appeal for lbw from Josh Shaw but this one is heading down leg against Peter Handscomb.

Handscomb moves into double figures from 34 deliveries, Ben Cox has 7* from 15 at the other end.

They are nudging their way back into contention, but one more wicket will see the pendulum swing again.

    86 needed. Or five wickets.

  13. Postpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 91-7

Lovely shot! Width outside off stump and Migael Pretorius crashes Gus Atkinson through point for four.

That's the 50 partnership for the eighth wicket off 69 balls.

Bouncers follow from round the wicket and Pretorius sways back sharply.

Another short ball but this is a tad leg side and tapped away for one.

  14. Postpublished at 15:03 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 55-5 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

88 required by the visitors, who are trying to becalm the Gloucestershire attack in the sunshine.

Feels like Dom Goodman and Ajeet Singh Dale might be back before too much longer...

  15. Deficit wiped out but Somerset seven downpublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 86-7

James Taylor is going to have a bowl.

A single to Lewis Gregory to the off side and Migael Pretorius gets away with a big inside edge off a loose offside shot to fine leg for four.

One more to Gregory to deep cover. Scores level.

Gregory tucks the next ball to square leg for one more and Pretorius repeats the shot for a single of his own.

    Somerset are ahead.

  16. Postpublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 27 April

    Notts 300 & 98-1 (target 148) v Sussex 169 & 278

Ben Duckett is in a rush now and has despatched Jack Carson for 18 in that over going 4-6-0-4-1-4.

That could be it for Carson unless John Simpson fancies catching the football as well.

  17. 'It's a funny passage of play'published at 15:02 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 85-7

    Henry Moeran
Test Match Special commentator on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It's a funny passage of play this.

Surrey will have to bat again, as we all thought they would.

Somerset are not entirely out the woods but they've managed to get Surrey to bat again.

  18. 50 runs

50 for Ben Geddespublished at 15:00 British Summer Time 27 April

    Derbyshire 472 v Middlesex 251-6

... and a batting bonus point.

Ben Geddes brings up his half-century from 80 balls with a clip to fine leg off Blair Tickner and the visitors are 71 shy of the follow-on target.

  19. Postpublished at 14:58 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 78-7

Two to Gregory with a gentle push down the ground off Gus Atkinson.

Atkinson bowls short and Gregory is back to jab the ball safely into the ground.

The fifth ball is turned behind square leg via a thick inside edge for one.

Migael Pretorius drives with one hand off the bat and the ball is picked up at cover to end the over.

  20. Postpublished at 14:57 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 51-5 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

The ball has been hooping about all week at Bristol but Peter Handscomb plays the swing nicely and is only denied a boundary off Josh Shaw by a tumbling stop in the deep from Zaman Akhter, which saves three runs.

Shaw thinks he's got Ben Cox caught behind a couple of balls later but the finger stays down. Maybe the bat hit the ground not the ball. Glos can't believe it, and don't hide their disappointment.

Skipper Cameron Bancroft might be hearing about that in a couple of hours' time...

    92 required. Or five wickets.
