    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 46-7

Just the four slips in for Dan Worrall.

Ooh, runs! Width outside off and Migael Pretorius is off the mark with a sweetly-driven four through cover point.

Two more runs pushed with a checked drive into the off side.

That shot is followed by a play and a miss where the ball cuts back and bounces over middle stump.

Pretorius is laughing and why not? He couldn't possibly have done anything about that.

A loose lofty drive dribbles the ball to short mid on to end the over.

    Slower ball!

  2. wicket

    Budinger c Price b Goodman 18 (Leicestershire 35-4 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Dom Goodman is heading for a 10fer.

Ollie Price takes a stunning slip catch low down as Sol Budinger pushes at one he should have left.

    Goodman has 4-15 - that's 9-69 in the match.

    What a day at Bristol.

  3. Postpublished at 14:21 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 35-3 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Sol Budinger cuts Ajeet Singh Dale away to the deep point boundary, with Miles Hammond just unable to prevent the ball reaching the rope.

Budinger has 17 - half of his side's tally. Make that 18, he nurdles a single to keep the strike.

    108 needed. Seven wickets.

  4. Postpublished at 14:19 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 28-3 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Peter Handscomb gets one from Ajeet Singh Dale which keeps very low indeed, skidding past his bottom edge before James Bracey spills it allowing the 34-year-old to scamper a bye.

He looks back at the track with a mix of fear and disgust.

    Every ball is an event.

  5. Postpublished at 14:18 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 40-7

How does any batting side play from here?

That shot was on for James Rew but Surrey are playing on an entirely different level to make the near impossible possible.

Honestly, watch that Dan Lawrence catch if you get a moment to spare.

    It's a work of art.

Lewis Gregory shoulders arms outside off stump to Jordan Clark.

The fourth delivery is a no ball and Lewis Gregory blocks out the rest of the over.

  6. Postpublished at 14:15 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 26-3 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Peter Handscomb survives a big shout for lbw from his first delivery. Maybe just outside the line.

Dom Goodman might rival Liam Manning for the most popular man in Bristol this weekend if he keeps this purple patch going.

  7. Postpublished at 14:15 British Summer Time 27 April

    Notts 300 & 32-0 (target 148 runs) v Sussex 169 & 278

Jack Carson is into the attack as Sussex skipper John Simpson has a look to see whether spin is an option.

His first ball suggests not as a horrible loosener is despatched by Haseeb Hameed for four.

  8. 'Gloucestershire still in this'published at 14:14 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 26-3 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

    Ed Seabourne
    BBC Radio Bristol

It's Goodman who's done the damage.

Gloucestershire are still in this, he's disappointed but the shot isn't the best there.

It's the man in-form who's gone, if they can get Handscomb they will really start to believe.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:14 British Summer Time 27 April

    Rew c Lawrence b Worrall 0 (Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 38-7)

A bit of respite for James Rew as Dan Worrall bowls with width outside off stump and Rew is able to leave the ball.

Rew is beaten outside off stump by a straighter ball... and he's gone fifth ball of the over!

Seven down and five wickets gone since lunch!

What a catch! James Rew tries to flick the ball off his hip and he gets good connection but Dan Lawrence flings himself to his right at square leg to hang on!

A catch for the ages. Here comes Migael Pretorius.

  10. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 27 April

    Hill c Bracey b Goodman 13 (Leicestershire 26-3 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire)

    Game on.

in-form Lewis Hill throws the bat at a wide one from Dom Goodman and feathers a bottom edge through to James Bracey, though he doesn't look like he thought he hit it.

Not a great shot in the circumstances, however. They need less than one an over.

Goodman has eight in the match.

Peter Handscomb is next in. If his experience is out cheaply then the hosts will surely be dreaming of ending their winless run.

  11. Postpublished at 14:09 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 38-6

Somerset have lost four wickets for eight runs since lunch.

The pitch has certainly played a few tricks but we've seen some unforced errors with the bat as well.

Lewis Gregory sees out the Jordan Clark over.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:07 British Summer Time 27 April

    Aldridge b Clark 1 (Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 38-6)

    Out! Jordan Clark has 3-10!

Kasey Aldridge shaped up to pull the ball through mid wicket and bottom edges the ball into the timbers.

The end may be nigh here but Somerset skipper Lewis Gregory will try to turn the tide.

  13. Postpublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 27 April

    Notts 300 & 25-0 (target 148 runs) v Sussex 169 & 278

Haseeb Hameed, who top scored with 85 in the first innings, looks in the mood here and has striped Jayden Seales for two beautiful fours.

The first is a straight drive which just misses the non striker's wicket and the second is a well-balanced and well timed clip through midwicket.

  14. Postpublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 22-2 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Just signs that Foxes are settling down.

Lewis Hill clips Dom Goodman off his pads for a beautifully timed four to deep square to continue his run of reaching double figures in every knock this season.

He has 12, Sol Budinger has 9* and the visitors are 121 away from victory.

  15. 'Nottinghamshire strong favourites'published at 14:06 British Summer Time 27 April

Notts 15-0 - target 148 to beat Sussex

    Adrian Harms
    BBC Sussex

It's fair to say, Nottinghamshire would kick themselves if they don't win from here.

On a sunny day and a good track, you really see Nottinghamshire as strong favourites.

Sussex will need to get amongst them early here.

  16. Postpublished at 14:03 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 38-5

Somerset, no doubt shell-shocked by the events of the last couple of overs are very much in block mode at this stage.

Dan Worrall pushes the third ball out a bit wider and Kasey Aldridge lets it go.

A short ball is leg side and pulled behind square for one.

James Rew sees out the over.

  17. Postpublished at 14:01 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 15-2 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Sol Budinger steers Ajeet SIngh Dale past the slips off a thick edge and all the way to the deep point boundary. Precious runs.

Another follows as Budinger drives back down the ground and Lewis Hill scrambles to beat Graeme van Buuren's throw which breaks the stumps, narrowly after he had made his ground.

    128 needed.

  18. Postpublished at 13:59 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 37-5

We're nearly into innings defeat territory here. Somerset are still 47 in arrears and surely Sean Dickson cannot be expected to risk his hand injury again?

Three slips in for Jordan Clark, bowling to James Rew.

Rew plays defensively into the off side.

The sixth ball is pushed off side and picked up at cover point.

    Maiden over.

  19. Postpublished at 13:58 British Summer Time 27 April

    Notts 300 & 9-0 (target 148 runs) v Sussex 169 & 278

    Jayden sealesImage source, Rex Features

Tidy opening from Ollie Robinson who starts with a maiden but Jayden Seales has leaked a few from the other end, Haseeb Hameed clocking him for two fours and nine off the over.

  20. Postpublished at 13:57 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 10-2 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Dom Goodman thunders into Lewis Hill's pads and goes up for a mighty appeal for lbw but it's struck him just outside the line of off stump and Hill survives. Just.

The next ball is slashed a foot shy of the diving Cameron Green at cover.

The one after is slashed again but an inside edge flashes an inch past the timbers on the way to the boundary.

    Intense stuff.

133 needed. Feels a big ask at the moment.
