    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 75-7

A bit of a loose stroke from Migael Pretorius but he's scythed that over the slips for four. He's on 27 and the gap is down to 11.

Single off the third ball down the ground.

Lewis Gregory is on the crease with a loose swish to one ball but he recovers to flick the next ball to square leg for one.

  2. Postpublished at 14:53 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 49-5 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Peter Handscomb drives Zaman Akhter through the covers for a couple and the required runs are into double figures.

Ben Cox flashes a cover drive and misses, to give Akhter renewed hope.

94 needed. Or five wickets, which remains the more likely outcome. Just.

  3. ouch!

Gregory bruised but battling onpublished at 14:50 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 69-7

Migael Pretorius drives Gus Atkinson firmly to mid on for a couple to move on to 20.

He'll get three more with a neat drive down the ground.

He can play a bit for sure and that's quite a feat after what has gone before in this innings.

Ouch! Did that hit Lewis Gregory above the thigh pad?

Er, no. Between the thigh pads. Over bowled.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:46 British Summer Time 27 April

    Slater c Carter b Seales 21 (Notts 67-1, target 148)

Short ball pulled away to the long boundary and Oli Carter leaps high to take a decent catch two handed.

Not much in the way of celebrations from the Sussex players who probably feel the game is gone here.

Ben Duckett, now known for stodgy play, is next out.

  5. Postpublished at 14:45 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 64-7

We have a little gap in play as there's a concern over the state of the ball and a replacement box of balls is coming on to the field.

Lewis Gregory is having strapping applied to his right hand by the physio as well.

We're back on. Single to Migael Pretorius via a full toss from Jordan Clark, whipped to backward square leg.

Gregory tries to glance a leg side ball fine but is stopped by a brilliant take on the bounce by keeper Ben Foakes.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:45 British Summer Time 27 April

    Holland c Bracey b Shaw 2 (Leicestershire 42-5 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Ian Holland has gone. Big wicket. The hosts must be favourites now.

He jabs the bat down in defence against Josh Shaw but can only feather an edge through to James Bracey.

Ben Cox will bat next, despite getting struck on the chest yesterday afternoon.

  7. 'Somerset have staged a little bit of a recovery'published at 14:43 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 62-7

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

Somerset have staged a little bit of a recovery it's fair to say.

They're happy to frustrate Surry who have had a bonanza in this session.

    Clark has been excellent.

  8. Postpublished at 14:43 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 42-4 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Zam Akhter does indeed replace Dom Goodman but is a little loose to start and Peter Handscomb carves him to the rope for a much-needed boundary.

    He responds with five dots.

Leicestershire need 101 runs. Gloucestershire need six wickets.

Josh Shaw will replace Ajeet Singh Dale at the other end.

  9. 6 runs

for Ben Slaterpublished at 14:40 British Summer Time 27 April

    Notts 300 & 65-0 (target 148) v Sussex 169 & 278

Ben Slater has absolutely creamed that delivery from Jayden Seales, a cover drive which sails flat over the rope for six. And he follows up with a four next ball before nicking a casual single.

Notts are racing hard and are not far off halfway after 13 overs.

  10. Postpublished at 14:39 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 63-7

Two more runs to Migael Pretorius, working the ball to leg facing Gus Atkinson.

Atkinson fires in a bouncer and Pretorius sways back.

He'll get a single to long on. The partnership is worth 25.

  11. Postpublished at 14:38 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 38-4 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Ian Holland cuts Ajeet Singh Dale to the deep for a single, the first run in nearly 10 minutes,

Peter Handscomb guides the final ball of the over to third to get off the mark from 14 balls.

Singh Dale has also sent down seven straight. Will Gloucestershire refresh their attack, or would that play into the Foxes hands?

  12. Postpublished at 14:35 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 60-7

Somerset still trail by 27 in a dramatic start to the afternoon session that saw five wickets tumble in less than an hour.

Another flowing off drive from Migael Pretorius, this time off Jordan Clark brings him a single to move to 14.

Lewis Gregory plays and misses but survives the over.

That ball kept a bit low, plus a perfect channel outside off.

  13. Postpublished at 14:34 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 36-4 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Dom Goodman will bowl his seventh straight over, he has 4-16 from the first six, so why not, eh?

The sun has broken through, which you'd think would help the batters, but it doesn't feel like it.

Peter Handscomb survives a maiden over, he's still not off the mark from nine balls.

    Will Goodman get an eighth?

  14. Postpublished at 14:31 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 57-7

Gus Atkinson is brought back on to try to finish the job and his first ball is crunched through point on the front foot through cover for four.

That's the Somerset 50 in the 23rd over.

The next ball is very short and bangs over the keeper for four byes.

A miscued pull hits Pretorius in the midriff and the fifth ball brings him a single into backward point.

    Nottinghamshire opener Haseeb Hameed

Forget Notts wanting to finish this to catch Forest at Wembley, Haseeb Hameed looks like he wants to catch the second half of the Bournemouth Man United game.

He has walloped Jack Carson for consecutive boundaries, the first dancing to the pitch and going over the bowler's head and the second a drive through mid on.

  16. Postpublished at 14:29 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 36-4 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Ajeet Singh Dale wheels away to celebrate the dismissal of Ian Holland, but has to turn back...

James Bracey took the catch behind the stumps but the ball had flicked the pad, not the bat, and Holland remains.

  17. Postpublished at 14:27 British Summer Time 27 April

Leicestershire 36-4 - target 143 to beat Gloucestershire

Ian Holland, the man who can do everything, is the new Foxes batter.

He gets off the mark with a single off Dom Goodman to keep the strike. Peter Handscomb is scoreless from the three nervy balls he's faced so far.

  18. Postpublished at 14:26 British Summer Time 27 April

    Surrey 367 v Somerset 283 & 48-7

Lewis Gregory is off the mark with his 14th ball via a flowing off drive that brings him a single to cover point.

Single to Migael Pretorius, pushing to deep third.

    That over almost felt... normal.

Quite the change in a mad first 10 minutes after lunch.

  19. Postpublished at 14:26 British Summer Time 27 April

    Notts 300 & 41-0 (target 148 runs) v Sussex 169 & 278

Notts are racing away with this and are already past 40 in the chase inside nine overs. Ollie Robinson strays down leg against Haseeb Hameed and has gone for four leg byes.

  20. Postpublished at 14:25 British Summer Time 27 April

    Derbyshire 472 v Middlesex 226-6

Ben Geddes has 30* and Jack Davies 6* from 35 balls as Middlesex move within 100 runs of the follow-on target with four wickets remaining at a tense Derby.
