  1. 6 runs

    Eng 181-3published at 18 overs

    That is huge.

Nat Sciver-Brunt is frustrated a missing a sweep-shot the previous delivery so takes her anger out on the ball next up, absolutely hammering it over long-on for six.

    Don't make Nat angry.

England's highest T20 score is 250-3 against South Africa in Taunton in 2018.

That might just be beyond them here but they can definitely get close.

Chloe Tryon's final over goes for 11 to end with bruising figures of 0-36.

Nat Sciver-Brunt is pretty much unstoppable. When she comes out to the crease, it just feels like she has so much more time than every single other England batter.

Heather Knight is the only player in T20I history to have scored over 350 runs playing the reverse sweep/reverse scoop. She has an average of 50 when playing the shot - a true master of the craft.

  6. 50 runs

    50 for Nat Sciver-Bruntpublished at 15.5 overs

Another half-century Nat Sciver-Brunt, who is in sparkling form, from just 33 balls.

She is helped by some more dodgy fielding on the rope, but this is still a mighty fine innings

England have got to be looking at 200 here, given the wickets they have in hand. These two are really enjoying themselves out there, but if they were to lose another wicket, I would like to see Freya Kemp come in. She would benefit from some more experience with England in a good position.

  8. Eng 149-3published at 15 overs

The England batters are in such good touch they are punishing anything slightly off line.

Chloe Tryon gives one a bit of air but Nat Sciver-Brunt shows nimble feet before carting the ball through the covers.

  9. Eng 143-3published at 14 overs

Frustration for Nonkululeko Mlaba, who conceded four singles from her first five balls but the over ends with a four thanks to a lovely reverse paddle shot by Heather Knight that races away fine.

  10. Eng 135-3published at 13 overs

Skipper Heather Knight is the new batter and wastes no time in joining the party, playing a lovely delicate late cut for four.

    England's run rate is 10.38.

Something very special was going to have to happen to get Danni Wyatt-Hodge out and the perfect yorker is what it was. She has put her team in an incredible position and she will be very happy.

  12. wicket

    Wyatt-Hodge b de Klerk 78 (Eng 127-3)

Danni Wyatt-Hodge's superb innings is over!

It is a fine delivery from Nadine de Klerk, we have not seen many of those tonight. It is right in the blockhole and Wyatt-Hodge cannot get down on it in time, with the ball smashing into the base of middle stump.

Interesting from Laura Wolvaardt not to have a cover fielder here because Danni Wyatt-Hodge is so good on the off-side. She is going to continue to find the boundary unless they do something about it.

South Africa are in a very perilous position.

  14. Eng 123-2published at 12 overs

Danni Wyatt-Hodge can seemingly find the boundary at will, clubbing Nondumiso Shangase for back-to-back fours.

Nat Sciver-Brunt helps herself to one herself to make it 16 from the over.

We see a shot of some of the South Africa coaching staff. They don't look very happy.

  15. Eng 107-2published at 11 overs

This has been a really poor evening from South Africa so far, with far too many loose deliveries and three drops.

    England are taking full advantage.

That is a poor drop. She didn't look comfortable underneath it and I was backing the ball everyday of the week. That could be a big moment.

  17. dropped catch

Nat Sciver-Brunt dropped on 25published at 10.4 overs

More village stuff from South Africa as Nat Sciver-Brunt gets away with a loose sweep that loops up to Ayanda Hlubi, but she gets it all wrong.

  18. Eng 98-2published at 10 overs

South Africa's bowling continues to be all over the place, meaning they cannot stem the flow of runs.

Chloe Tryon serves up a couple half-volleys and Danni Wyatt-Hodge says thank you very much, smacking both them back over Tryon's head for four.

79% of Danni Wyatt-Hodge's runs today have come on the offside. Of her seventeen 50+ scores in T20I cricket, none have had a higher percentage of runs scored on this side of the ground.

Someone has turned the floodlights on and off again and it seems to have done the trick.

    We are good to continue.
