  1. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:55 BST 24 September

    Robinson b Hill 1 (Yorks v Durham 155-5)

Total misjudgement from Ollie Robinson as he shoulders arms and hears the ball clatter into his off stump.

  2. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:53 BST 24 September

    Kohler-Cadmore c sub (Fernandes) b Bracewell 6 (Essex v Somerset 182-4)

Tom Kohler-Cadmore punches a Doug Bracewell delivery through mid wicket for a couple of runs.

    He's out next ball.

He goes down the track and edges behind to substitute keeper Simon Fernandes.

Lewis Goldsworthy is the new batter.

  3. 50 runs

for Timm van der Gugtenpublished at 14:51 BST 24 September

    Glamorgan 220-7 v Lancs

Things haven't gone according to plan for promoted Glamorgan today, but Timm van der Gugten dabs Josh Bohannon away for a single to bring up his third 50 of the season from 105 balls.

It's been a responsible innings for his side and Mason Crane is batting well on 33 at the other end.

  4. Postpublished at 14:49 BST 24 September

    Notts v Warwicks 91-2

Another fine over from Mo Abbas, conceding only three and offering some movement on a nagging line and length.

Brett Hutton is on for his second spell of the game and Sam Hain blocks into the on side.

The fourth ball beats the bat and brushes the pad, going through to the keeper, Kyle Verreynne.

Must have been close to LBW. Just outside the line? Maiden over.

  5. 100 runs

for Leus du Plooypublished at 14:48 BST 24 September

    Middx 236-4 v Glos

Leus du Plooy chops down on a full-length ball from Ben Charlesworth and the ball squirts away to third man for four to carry him to his century off 128 balls faced.

It is his third three-figure score in the Championship this season and he and Ben Geddes have so far added 78 for the fifth wicket.

  6. 'Quite incredible'published at 14:46 BST 24 September

    Hants v Surrey 147

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

The whole of this Surrey innings has lasted just over 47 overs.

    Quite incredible.

  7. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:45 BST 24 September

    Rhodes c Wharton b Bess 50 (Yorks v Durham 152-4)

Will Rhodes had reached his half century in 96 balls with a single off George Hill in the previous over but Dom Bess has got his man.

The Durham man does not shift his feet much but swings and mistimes to mid on where James Wharton makes no mistake.

  8. Ball changed at Chelmsfordpublished at 14:44 BST 24 September

    Essex v Somerset 178-3

We have a pause in play while the umpires inspect the ball.

Looks like they're changing it. They're now both kneeling over a bag of cricket balls, one of which will be the replacement.

  9. wicket

SURREY 147 ALL OUTpublished at 14:41 BST 24 September

    Chahar c Currie b Sundar 17 (Hants v Surrey 147)

Rahul Chahar tries to cut a shortish ball from Washington Sundar through backward point but succeeds only in clipping it to Scott Currie at slip.

That is Surrey's first innings effort all done and in truth it is a miserable one. Too many wickets given cheaply and too little resolve all round.

  10. Postpublished at 14:40 BST 24 September

    Notts v Warwicks 87-2

Will Young drops a ball from Mo Abbas into the leg side for one.

Sam Hain is forward, carefully pushing into the off side.

Young clips Dillon Pennington leg side for one more to move to 46.

With news that Surrey are all out with no batting bonus points, Notts need five points from here to win the title.

A draw of any description would be enough.

Four runs to Sam Hain, driving down the ground.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:36 BST 24 September

    Carter c & b Allison 11 (Worcs 123 v Sussex 47-3)

Ben Allison has pulled off a brilliant caught and bowled to dismiss Oli Carter.

The Sussex batter presents a solid forward defensive but a little bit of bounce sees the ball flick up off the face.

Allison is long odds against to make it as he is heading off the wicket in his follow through but he manages to switch direction.

His fling takes him forward to a one-handed catch in the batsman's half of the wicket.

    Brilliant.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:34 BST 24 September

    Lammonby LBW b Bennett 47 (Essex v Somerset 167-3)

Charlie Bennett bowls to Tom Lammonby, who is on 46.

He tries to whip a leg side ball away but misses.

The next ball is a bit straighter and clipped to mid wicket for one.

James Rew cuts but doesn't clear backward point but he gets an easy single to long leg off a wayward fifth ball.

Out! Tom Lammonby has played around a straight one from the crease and that would probably have hit middle and leg.

    Tom Kohler-Cadmore is in next.

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:34 BST 24 September

    Haines c Roderick b Taylor 21 (Worcs 123 v Sussex 41-2)

That has left Tom Haines off the pitch and kicked off the outside edge and into the tumbling gloves of Gareth Roderick.

    Good start from Worcs.

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:32 BST 24 September

    Fisher b Sundar 10 (Hants v Surrey 140-9)

Didn't look much but it has bamboozled Matt Fisher and ended his little thrash.

Washington Sundar has a lovely loop to his delivery and this one is aimed outside off and cuts back as it passes the bat nicking the top of off stump.

  15. 'Abbas gets his man'published at 14:29 BST 24 September

    Notts v Warwicks 78-2

    Melinda Farrell
Sports broadcaster/journalist on BBC Radio Nottinghamshire

Yates and Young weathered the storm, but after plenty of plays and misses, Mohammad Abbas gets his man.

  16. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:28 BST 24 September

    Hughes lbw b Allison 14 (Worcs 123 v Sussex 25-1)

Ben Allison, who is about the same pace as Ollie Robinson, has replicated his slower ball lbw getting Daniel Hughes through the shot early.

  17. new ball

Ball changepublished at 14:25 BST 24 September

    Hants v Surrey 136-8

The umpires have changed the ball which has been knocked into an odd shape by Matt Fisher in that last over.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:23 BST 24 September

    Tattersall c Broad b Keogh 47 (Northants v Leics 208-5)

Rob Keogh strikes in his first over.

The off spinner draws Jonny Tattersall forward to defend and an outside edge loops the ball up high to Justin Broad at slip.

He juggles it but holds on. A bit tricky as the ball flew very high off the shoulder of the bat.

Time for Ben Cox to take guard.

  19. Half-century for Bedinghampublished at 14:21 BST 24 September

    Yorkshire v Durham 142-3

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

David Bedingham has been very patient today and has reached 50 for the 59th time in first-class cricket - and how Durham needed that after they were reduced to 7-2 when he came in.

He added 51 for the third wicket with Ben McKinney, who was out before lunch for 29.

And since then he and Will Rhodes have added another 86.

Batting looks a bit simpler this afternoon, although a big cloud is sitting right over us and the lights are on.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:20 BST 24 September

    Yates c McCann b Abbas 32 (Notts v Warwicks 72-2)

A deserved wicket for Muhammad Abbas, who bowled superbly without reward this morning.

He draws Rob Yates into a loose drive, going half forward and the ball is edged low to Freddie McCann at second slip, diving to his right.

    Sam Hain is in next.
