Kent v Leicestershire 386-9
And with stumps at Kent, that's day one done!
Rehan Ahmed's fifth County Championship century of the season helped Division Two leaders Leicestershire enjoy another fine day with the bat.
Can anything stop the Foxes winning promotion now?
Durham 153 v Surrey 182-5
Another poor day for Durham with bat in hand gifting Surrey far too many needless wickets.
A very different game to their meeting at the Oval just a few weeks back.
Ben Raine bowled well to help knock over Surrey's openers and give Durham a sniff of parity this afternoon.
But after Sam Curran's failed promotion to number four, Dan Lawrence and Ryan Patel steadied things.
Patel fell surprisingly to Callum Parkinson for 58, and Ben Foakes to a beauty from Codi Yusuf for 11, but Lawrence (68*) and Jordan Clark (19*) have put on 58 to take the lead to 29 overnight.
Durham 153 v Surrey 174-5
One over remaining in gloomy conditions.
Ben Raine will continue and take the last with both batters trying to be positive.
41 balls, 33 minutes, top batting from this pair.

Surrey will aim to be pushing this lead on in the morning.
Even just an 18 run lead is a good thing, given how today's play has been.
It's been a strange and fascinating day to try and work out.
Worcs v Hants 146-2
Bad light stops play on a weather-affected day when just 39.2 overs have been possible.
What was a grim day for the hosts was brightened somewhat by the late wickets of the openers Fletcha Middleton and Joe Weatherley.
Tom Taylor and Ben Allison took the wickets.
But the 144 partnership for the first wicket has put a further dent in the Pears hopes of pulling a rabbit out of the hat in the title run in.
Put simply Worcs need to have a special day with the ball tomorrow if they are to yank this game and a possible win back into reach.
Kent v Leicestershire 378-9
After a lengthy delay for bad light at Canterbury, they came back on!
A couple of overs to go in this Division Two fixture...
Durham 153 v Surrey 165-5
Modern players don't really do playing for the close anymore.
Ben Raine, Durham's best bowler today (and much of this season) is seemingly randomly whacked for six second ball of his 11th over, the follow up is then a wide, before a following ball top edged pull shot for two.
Suddenly some late drama as if Dan Lawrence has just got bored of Raine bowling well at him!
Essex 350-4 v Warwickshire
Very much the hosts' day after Warwickshire won the toss and put them in to bat with Tom Westley the star of the show, walking off unbeaten with 124.
He was ably assisted by Paul Walter (86) who fell to a slightly unlucky dismissal which took his edge, the pad of the wicketkeeper and looped up to slip.
But that was the exception which proved the rule on a day which pretty much went Essex's way from start to finish.
Warwickshire looked toothless with the ball although Zen Malik, who earlier held a decent catch to dismiss Dean Elgar, took a first ever first-class wicket with a half-tracker.
For Essex a third batting point is already in the bag and a fourth is within reach when they resume with 14 overs left before the line (110 overs).
Weatherley c Brookes b Allison 62 (Worcs v Hants 146-2)
And one brings two.
Joe Weatherley is the second to go as Ben Allison gets one to angle in and leave, taking the edge and flying high to third slip.
Worcs could yet finish an underwhelming day with a smile on their faces.
Durham 153 v Surrey 151-5
A risky use of the feet and characteristic whip through leg for four from Dan Lawrence off Ben Raine takes him to 48, a risk he feels he needs to take off this metronomic seamer.
Then last ball, to deprive Raine of a maiden, he slashes at a wide one just short of slip for a single to get to 50 off 69 balls.
Raine bowled 43 dots in his first eight overs, a great effort.
Middleton c Roderick b Taylor 79 (Worcs v Hants 144-1)
A first breakthrough for the hosts as Fletcha Middleton goes to a smart grab to his right behind the stumps from Gareth Roderick.
Yorks v Sussex 210-9
Yorkshire's Will Sutherland celebrates
Nine wickets down and a dominant display with the ball from Yorkshire and yet they have walked off here with a bit of steam coming out of ears.
An excellent bowling performance, particularly in the afternoon session, saw Yorkshire reduce Sussex from 92-2 to 150-9 with Jack White's 3-21 the pick of the figures.
But against the run of play the last pair of Gurinder Sandhu (24) and Danny Lamb (40) have withstood everything Yorkshire could muster including a new ball for an hour and 50 minutes.
Yorkshire may be thankful that they did not have to face a late test against the new ball but they have been frustrated to leak 60 runs to the last two men.
White's bowling may have been the highlight but there will be no better takeaway for the highlights reels from this match (and possibly this season) than Jack Wharton's stunning catch to dismiss Tom Haines.
We could describe it again and it was a brilliant effort running back at deep midwicket, but the impact is in seeing it. Seek it out.
Yorks v Sussex 202-9
And to ironic cheers from the well-oiled customers in the bleachers here at Scarborough a first run in 37 balls comes from the third ball of Matthew Revis' over.
By way of making his point Gurinder Sandhu proceeds to smash a six in the direction of the jeers next ball to bring up the 200 for Sussex and the 50 partnership between the last pair.
Northants v Derbyshire 348-8
Talking of fightbacks, Derbyshire climb to the top of the tree on this opening day.
Having been 89-5, they close on 348-8 thanks to Martin Andersson's century and some excellent support from the lower order.
Durham 153 v Surrey 125-5

Just when you think it's all settled down, Yusuf nips one back and takes Foakes' off stump, a good delivery.
What a funny old day it has been, on a pitch I'm still not convinced is a 15-wicket pitch, there's been 15 wickets.
There's a bit more cloud but nothing substantial.
Foakes b Yusuf 11 (Durham 153 v Surrey 124-50
Unlucky Ben Foakes, that is a quick, cracking delivery from Codi Yusuf coming in onto off stump.
With no Neil Wagner or David Bedingham in this match he is the only overseas player for Durham and that is a very useful scalp this evening.
29 Surrey trail by as Jordan Clark comes in at seven.
Lancashire v Glamorgan 260-8
Lancashire will probably feel the slightly happier side at stumps on day one.
Chris Green's six-wicket haul has helped the hosts fight back well.
Glamorgan were 199-3, but lost five wickets in the final session, including the big one of Kiran Carlson for 77.
Worcs v Hants 133-0
Tom Taylor sends the first over down after the restart and, after three dots, it is a return to type with two singles and a leg side flick which races for four.
Notts v Somerset 338-4
What a comeback from Somerset, led by two men who make batting look beautifully easy when at their best.
Mo Abbas got his 800th wicket with three quick ones this morning.
But from 0-2, James Rew and, then when Josh Davey went for 12, Tom Abell batted marvellously, blunting two kookaburra balls and seven Notts bowlers on another placid Trent Bridge pitch.
Their partnership of 313 was broken just moments before they went off for bad light.
Perhaps Abell could feel hard done by as two balls before it is deemed too dark for Dillon Pennington to bowl, Abell mistimed a pull shot off him and went for a career-best 156.
James Rew sleeps on 162*.
