  1. NOTTS ENFORCE THE FOLLOW ONpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 18 September

    Kent 225 and 6-0 f/o v Notts 433

Notts skipper Haseeb Hameed asks his opposite number to have a second crack after falling 208 behind on first innings.

Jacob Duffy opens up after tea and stuns Ben Compton with a fast ball which takes off after hitting the pitch.

It beats the outside edge and leaving Dane Schadendorf straining to take it above his head.

The New Zealander oversteps for a no-ball and Compton then edges the final ball along the floor for four.

You have to say that was a poor shot.

George Bell tries to pull a ball from Lewis Gregory which is nowhere near short enough for the stroke and is cleaned up.

Lancashire lead by 245 as George Balderson - no mean batsman - comes to the crease.

  3. Postpublished at 16:45 British Summer Time 18 September

    Lancs 140 & 250-6 v Somerset 146

How did that miss the edge?

George Bell attempts an airy drive to a ball from Craig Overton which leaves him off the pitch.

Bell has 23 and Wells is 41 not out. The lead is 244.

As if things weren't frustrating enough for Somerset, Lancashire have now been awarded five penalty runs for what we believe was an instance of 'fake fielding'.

WICKET Holland st McManus b Chahal 11published at 16:39 British Summer Time 18 September

    Northants 383 v Leics 203 & 42-2

    A classic leg-spinner's dismissal.

Ian Holland comes down the pitch to try and smother any spin but doesn't make it and the ball turns past the bat, leavings a comfortable stumping for Lewis McManus.

Leicestershire still 138 behind as Lewis Hill comes out to bat.

Ryan Patel picks up a four and then hooks a loose ball from Daniel Hogg for a huge six.

The stroke also brings up the fifty partnership for Patel and Tom Lawes in just 58 balls

Andrew Flintoff has been watching the action at Old Trafford today. Wonder what he made of son Rocky's innings earlier on.

100 for Ethan Brookespublished at 16:35 British Summer Time 18 September

    Hampshire 462 v Worcs 227-5

    Superb knock from Ethan Brookes!

It's a maiden first-class century and he's doubled his previous best score in county cricket - looking at how well he's batted today, that's a surprise.

Gareth Roderick is on 84 and eyeing a century of his own.

Of all the Sussex bowlers, Felix Organ has had a tough day, he has 0-83 from 11 overs.

Whenever Surrey are toiling, someone nearly always steps up.

Today it's Ryan Patel. Chemar Holder drops short and Patel pulls it behind square on the legside for four to bring up his fifth first-class century.

He's had a few lives, but cashed in on his luck.

His second championship ton of the summer has come off 152 balls.

BIG, BIG runs for Surrey's title chase.

Excellent timing by George Bell, who forces Lewis Gregory away to the short point boundary.

Bell then runs the ball down to third man for a couple and moves to 21 not out before being beaten by the final delivery.

This stand is now worth 70.

Daniel Hogg into the attack and Tom Lawes slaps him through the covers for his third boundary to move the Surrey lead beyond fifty.

Hogg almost gets immediate revenge as he pitches the new ball up and beats Lawes outside off stump.

  14. 200 up for Worcestershirepublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 18 September

    Hampshire 462 v Worcs 208-5

Hampshire are still a mammoth 254 ahead but they have been toiling away trying to remove the current Worcestershire pair for an awfully long time now.

Ethan Brookes is on 91 not out and opener Gareth Roderick is unbeaten on 82 and they've hauled their side up from 61-5 to over 200.

  15. KENT ALL OUT FOR 225published at 16:23 British Summer Time 18 September

    And that's tea!

Joey Evison steps down the wicket so Farhan Ahmed throws it a little wider.

The set batter plays well away from his body and the ball loops up to Ben Slayer on the point boundary who takes a simple catch.

Notts secure a 208-run first innings lead, but will Haseeb Hameed enforce the follow-on?

  16. Postpublished at 16:22 British Summer Time 18 September

    Lancs 140 & 230-6 v Somerset 146

Lewis Gregory takes the new ball himself ahead of Brett Randell.

And with the fifth ball, a breakthrough!

Roland-Jones does what Roland-Jones does, firing one in with a hint of inswing which proves just a little too skilful for Harry Came to deal with.
