I would probably bring on Sophia Smale too. I think it's a bit of a risk to the left-hander of Georgia Redmayne but, for such young player, she stands up on the big occasions.

Obviously Kapp has already bowled out. I wouldn't bring on Rachel Slater again, she is more of a powerplay bowler, like we have seen with Tara Norris.

  2. Spirit 75-2published at 35 balls left

    Target 114

The Oval Invincibles call for their strategic timeout, with everything going in Spirit's favour at the moment.

They're not exactly smashing it all around the park, but it's been a composed and confident chase and at the moment, Welsh Fire at Lord's await tomorrow...

  3. Spirit 73-2published at 38 balls left

    Target 114

Georgia Redmayne is batting on a different pitch.

She slams another down the ground for four off Wellington, and the win predictor is now 87% in Spirit's favour.

Amanda-Jade Wellington is so good. She is such a brave bowler.

In short-format cricket, you are going to get hit for boundaries but when she gets hit for boundaries, she actually bowls it slower, a bit more air, a bit more loop and drop.

That is what makes her so successful. She is the most successful bowler there has ever been in the Women's Hundred.

  5. Spirit 68-2published at 40 balls left

    Target 114

Heather Knight and Georgia Redmayne calmly negotiate another testing five balls from the superstar that is Amanda-Jade Wellington.

She's already worked her magic once this innings.

    Tara Norris
London Spirit bowler on BBC Two

I feel like we bowled really well as a group and we have got a lot of experience out there right now.

I think the bench is quite calm, for now...

  7. Spirit 64-2published at 45 balls left

    Target 114

    Ooh, lovely.

Georgia Redmayne is getting into her work. She uses the pace of Ryana Macdonald-Gay to flick back-to-back boundaries through the leg-side.

Pressure back on the Invincibles now.

Nothing to choose between the sides at the halfway stage. Spirit are 54-2 after 50 balls, exactly where Invincibles were at this point of their innings.

    Another tie on the cards?

Marizanne Kapp has just slightly overpitched some of these last balls.

Sometimes she knows it is her last five balls to make an impact and sometimes she can just try too hard.

She has just slightly overpitched some there. She's not perfect but it's showing good signs from Georgia Redmayne for London Spirit.

London Spirit won't want to dilly dally like the Oval Invincibles did.

The spinners are going to fire through these five balls and eat into this time as quickly as possible.

  11. Spirit 54-2published at 50 balls left

    Target 114

That is not going to help.

Georgia Redmayne drives beautifully down the ground for four, and Kapp follows it with a wide.

That ends Kapp's spell with 1-19, and at the halfway stage, Spirit need 60 runs to win.

  12. dropped catch

Redmayne dropped on 19published at 54 balls left

    Spirit 46-2

    Oh!

This is a very tough chance for Lauren Winfield-Hill. She's standing up the stumps to Marizanne Kapp's pace so the ball absolutely flies through off Georgia Redmayne's edge.

It is, without a doubt, very difficult but Kapp still gives Winfield-Hill a stern look of disappointment. Ouch.

    Amanda-Jade Wellington
Oval Invincibles bowler on Player Mic on BBC Two

I told you it was going to happen, I told you! Research done. Tick!

I'm on it - isn't that what spinners are supposed to do?

I was honestly thinking about bowling a long ball but I changed my mind and decided to bowl it into the pitch a little bit more. A long ball is where I will either bowl it from where the umpire stands or at the stumps, just to change the length I'm bowling.

  14. Spirit 46-2published at 55 balls left

    Target 114

The Invincibles spinners are whizzing through, as Mady Villiers backs up Wellington with a solid set of five.

Here is how Invincibles took their first wicket, the big one of Meg Lanning.

  15. Not outpublished at 59 balls left

It's a brave shot from Heather Knight, trying to reverse sweep her first ball.

She gets a bit of glove on it, which saves her.

    Now then!

Is Heather Knight gone first ball?!

Amanda-Jade Wellington said she had done her homework on these two batters and she wanted Cordelia Griffith to go for that big shot down the ground.

And that is exactly what she did!

    Griffith st Winfield-Hill b Wellington 1 (Spirit 42-2)

Amanda-Jade Wellington works her magic again!

The Invincibles leg-spinner is absolutely great value on the player mic and she predicted this one.

Plenty of turn and bounce out there which completely deceives Griffith, who charges down the pitch and is beaten, with Lauren Winfield-Hill whipping off the bails.

Invincibles are still right up for it.

  19. Spirit 39-1published at 65 balls left

    Target 114

Cordelia Griffith joins Georgia Redmayne in the middle.

Griffith has been used as a bit of a pinch-hitter for the Spirit this year, dealing mostly in cameos but at a high strike-rate to give her side a quick boost of momentum.

Big wicket! This one was just shaping away from Meg Lanning and it gets a little feather through to the wicket-keeper.

That is the seventh time Marizanne Kapp has got Meg Lanning out.
