Charlie Dean does it time and time again, she's a wicket taker. She was the fastest women to 50 ODI wickets in international cricket and then this time just full, just spins in the surface, which is encouraging to see but they've done right not to review that.

Scholfield lbw Dean 5 (Invincibles 21-1)

    Perfect start for Charlie Dean!

With her first ball of the day, she gets Paige Scholfield playing and missing completely.

Trapped on the front pad. As plumb as you like.

  4. Invincibles 21-0published at 10 balls

Not a great set for Danielle Gibson, who gives away another four, as 16 runs come from it in total.

She will be replaced by England teammate Charlie Dean.

  5. Invincibles 16-0published at 9 balls

Back-to-back from Lauren Winfield-Hill, but Danielle Gibson comes close to a wicket.

Great shot from the skipper, she's had to be patient, couple of wides down the leg side, just waiting for that ball. Straight through the covers.

  7. Invincibles 12-0published at 8 balls

    Crunch!

An excellent shot from captain Lauren Winfield-Hill finds her first boundary.

Wide on the off side, it is timed perfectly and races away for four.

  8. Invincibles 5-0published at 5 balls

That's the end of the first set, bowled by Tara Norris.

Just five come from it and now we're going to see Danielle Gibson come into the attack.

It's a factor 50 kind of day at The Oval.

Admittedly, my complexion means I'm weighing up the sun screen on an overcast day in February but it really is a scorcher in south London.

The fire cannons as the players walk out aren't helping either...
