It is what we've come to expect from Nat Sciver-Brunt. She barely even raised her bat which just shows there's still work to do.

What a way to bring up your half-century.

Nat Sciver-Brunt plays a gorgeous straight drive that fizzes through long-off and to the rope to bring up her 50.

Sciver-Brunt belatedly realises she has reached the milestone and briefly raises her bat to the applauding crowd.

She knows there is still work to be done.

I'm really glad to see Hannah Rowe being given another over. It's been good to see her get two long spells today.

Eden Carson should continue too. She's really starting to get into her work now.

  4. Eng 128-4published at 24 overs

Eden Carson will be cursing her luck.

Amy Jones nearly presents a caught and bowled chance with a shot off the back foot that bounces just short of the New Zealand spinner.

Jones then very nearly plays on with an under-edge that flies past the wicketkeeper and away for a fortunate four.

    84 needed from 108 balls.

  5. Eng 122-4published at 23 overs

    Target 212 (from 42 overs)

England are not having to work too hard to pick off the singles at the moment.

Nat Sciver-Brunt helps the ball down to deep fine leg to bring up the 50 partnership from just 42 balls. Ominous for New Zealand.

It's just got a little bit too easy recently. New Zealand need a wicket.

  7. Eng 118-4published at 22 overs

Having said that, if these two keep going as they are England could stroll home with plenty to spare.

Amy Jones seizes on a short ball from new bowler Eden Carson and powers the ball away through deep mid-wicket for four.

Jones has been quick to dispatch anything short to the rope so far today.

    Thanks, Mike.

Are we in for a thrilling finish?

I think we might be you know.

  9. Eng 110-4published at 21 overs

    Target 212 (from 42 overs)

New Zealand bring back Hannah Rowe, who had 2-22 from her first spell, in an attempt to break this burgeoning partnership.

England's batters work her for four singles, before she closes with two dot balls.

Half-way through this shortened innings, here's Tom Mallows to take you through the rest.

    Anything you can do, Nat...

Amy Jones adds consecutive fours of her own, heaving the returning Molly Penfold through mid-wicket and then driving to the right of extra cover to bring up England's century.

She adds an extra boundary for good measure, clouting the final ball of the over above the head of mid-on.

This partnership is worth 34 from 25.

    Consecutive fours for Sciver-Brunt!

She cracks Devine to the ropes at mid-wicket, before timing a superb on-drive past a diving fielder. Very little footwork, just picked it up and nailed it.

Nat Sciver-Brunt has been really patient, recognising when she needs to absorb pressure but when she gets a bad ball it goes for four.

  14. Eng 85-4published at 18 overs

Six runs from this over as the England batters work Amelia Kerr around the ground.

Sciver-Brunt and Jones have ODI strike rates of 95.56 and 82.68, they're not going to hang around.

  15. Eng 79-4published at 17 overs

    Target 212 (from 42 overs)

Amy Jones is never going to take long to get going, and she lashes Devine through the covers for four.

Seven from the over - the required run-rate has been roughly around 5-5.5 runs an over for much of the innings, so England won't be too concerned on that front. It's the number of wickets down that's worrying.

  16. Eng 72-4published at 16 overs

New batter Amy Jones fends off the final ball of the over.

Remember - thanks to England's comprehensive wins in the first two ODIs, any player coming in now is batting for the first time in the series.

Amelia Kerr bowls that googly so well. It was the faintest of edges and a great catch behind the stumps.

    A crafty bit of bowling.

    Another England wicket falls!

Nat Sciver-Brunt dispatches a four through mid-wicket as Amelia Kerr offers up a gimme full toss, but the New Zealand bowler sends down a much better ball to dismiss Sophia Dunkley.

A touch of extra bounce, Dunkley tries to cut but can only feather an edge to Izzy Gaze standing up behind the stumps.

A promising partnership of 39 comes to an end.

These two are both looking quite settled, playing freely and scoring quickly.

They are both good mates too. It looks like they are enjoying themselves out there.

Bit of a stall after the drinks break, just a single apiece for the England batters off Sophie Devine's third over.
