That's a really good effort from Jack Leach and Shoaib Bashir who have reduced that Pakistan lead to 75. But make no mistake, that is a lot of runs on this wicket.

  2. wicket

Bashir c Masood b Sajid 9 (Eng 291 all out)

    The fun is over.

Off-spinner Sajid Khan finishes with remarkable figures of 7-111 as Shoaib Bashir swipes a catch to mid-wicket.

A first-innings advantage of 75 feels like a lot but that last-wicket partnership of 29 helps a bit.

Ultimately the result of that over is three more runs to England's total.

Jack Leach has got his bat over the line as is scrubs through the dirt.

    Good running.

Never rule out a run-out with numbers 10 and 11 at the crease.

It's a direct hit from Sajid Khan, who can do no wrong right now.

Aamer Jamal makes a sliding tackle out there on the deep leg-side boundary. It's probably a yellow card really.

He was never going to stop that going feet first.

  8. Eng 287-9published at 66 overs

    Leach 21, Bashir 9

Shoaib Bashir sweeps for four now, helped by a shoddy effort at a slide tackle on the ball on the boundary. That sweep certainly the shot to play.

The lead was 104 runs when this final-wicket pair came together but it's now down to 79.

How greedy can England fans be?

  9. Eng 280-9published at 65 overs

Jack Leach nails another sweep into the deep! The fielder hasn't seen that and the few England fans that are in the crowd applaud as the ball bounces over the boundary sponge.

Leach must have been watching Ben Duckett highlights before bed.

Sajid Khan has been bowling wide of the off stump and letting the pitch do the magic and turn the ball in towards the stump to the right-hander. That's his main line of attack and Pakistan have bowled really well.

Shoaib Bashir attempts a scoop over the shoulder to Sajid Khan, who can sniff a seventh wicket. It wasn't particularly successful from England's number 11.

Jack Leach is trying to play a few shots and rightly so. Otherwise, he is a sitting duck, isn't he. I don't mind this from England actually.

Jack Leach's second boundary - another sweep to a floaty full one from Noman Ali - brings England's deficit below 100. That was only a foot or so from being six.

Leach looks a bit more comfortable against the wily left-armer Noman Ali with the ball turning into him.

Jack Leach and Shoaib Bashir has got a small job to do with the bat here, but a bigger job with the ball coming up on this pitch.

I have little confidence in this innings extending with Jack Leach trying to reverse sweep every other delivery.

The deficit is still 104 runs. That would surely be match-winning on this surface.

We thought Jamie Smith might try to take it on and he did, but he miscued it.

England were 212-2 yesterday. They have lost seven wickets for 50 runs.

A tough pitch, yes, but an all-timer of a collapse.

    England cannot halt the slide.

Jamie Smith does try to bash a few runs but he skies a catch to long-off as he does.

The end of the innings is nigh.
