Jack and Bryce have a lot to do at the crease. They know that they are going to have to reach the boundary at least a couple of times each over. It's looking quite ominous for Scotland.

  4. Sco 82-5published at 17 overs

    Need 38 from 18 balls

Looked like it was going down leg and ball tracker agrees, sending the ball some way wide of the stumps.

Jack-Brown takes a single from the final ball of the over, but Scotland's target continues to look more and more challenging.

They are going to make the 'T' signal and send it upstairs. It's not a bad call at this point in the game, with Bangladesh doing so well.

  6. Umpire reviewpublished at 16.5 overs

Ritu Moni strikes Lorna Jack-Brown on the pad, nothing from the umpire but Bangladesh decide to send the decision upstairs.

Feels like a "may as well" review.

I feel as though Bangladesh have out-fielded Scotland in the first part of this game. They're leaving the mid-wicket region open, just trying to tempt the Scotland batters.

  8. Sco 78-5published at 16 overs

    Need 42 from 24 balls

Having taken the catch, Fahima Khatun bowls her final over, with Jack-Brown firing an uppish drive just short of the cover fielder.

Fahima finishes with figures of 4-21, a decent afternoon for her.

It's getting very tricky for Scotland; Bangladesh are well on top.

There's quite a lot of nerves kicking about in that Scotland line-up. They're making some silly mistakes; no-one seems to be able to stay in with Sarah Bryce.

  11. Sco 72-5published at 15 overs

Lorna Jack-Brown just about gets away with taking a single from her second ball, knocking the ball into the covers and just about beating the ball to the non-strikers end.

A direct-hit might have been interesting.

That's a brilliant effort from Khatun! Such a great catch and what a celebration. It was almost our first six of the day, but instead she's got Darcey Carter for two.

    Taken in the deep!

Superbly taken by Fahima on the long-on boundary as Darcey Carter heaved towards the boundary.

The Bangladesh fielder did well to stay within the ropes, taking the ball over her shoulder.

The wicketkeeper fumbled three times and she still didn't manage to get back in her crease. Bare with me whilst I try to work out what happened there! Sarah Bryce somehow stays in.

  15. Sco 70-4published at 14 overs

My word, that's quite the foul up.

Rabeya tempts Sarah Bryce way down the track with her first ball, where the Scotland batter is easily beaten.

It should be an easy catch for Nigar Sultana Joty behind the stumps, but she spills the ball, seeing it roll back down the wicket.

The Bangladesh keeper then sprawls across the batting crease to recover the ball, sending the ball back towards the stumps but she doesn't release cleanly and somehow Bryce makes it back.

Scotland take a couple of singles off the rest of the over.

Darcey Carter comes to the crease, and Scotland work three singles off the over - a good one for Bangladesh.

Run out here! Chatterji came charging down the wicket and was sent back in the other direction. Sarah Bryce hadn't moved anywhere. It was good composure shown by the Bangladesh team and you feel the match shifting back towards them.

Chatterji run out 5 (Sco 65-4)

Oh dear, Priyanaz Chatterji, what are you doing?

Sarah Bryce punches Nahida's first delivery straight to cover point and for some reason Chatterji comes charging down the wicket.

Bryce rightly sends her back, there's no run there, and Bangladesh have plenty of time to throw the ball to the bowler, who takes off the bails.

  19. Sco 65-3published at 12 overs

Six balls from Ritu Moni, six singles for Scotland.

For point of comparison, Bangladesh were 68-2 at this stage.

  20. Sco 59-3published at 11 overs

More spin, with 17-year-old Shorna Akter coming into the attack after the drinks break.

Runs from every ball of the over, with Sarah Bryce crunching the final delivery through the covers for four.

10 off the over, a tidy resumption for Scotland.
