  1. Ind 85-2published at 18 overs

Replays show Nonkululeko Mlaba gave Harleen Deol a bit of a send-off with a little wave after knocking her over. That's the sign of a confident bowler!

Meanwhile, Tumi Sekhukhune is into the attack and just two come from the seamer's first over with India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur off the mark with a flick through square leg.

That was an absolute jaffa. Such a nice action with a lot of revs on the ball.

    Bowled her!

Just as I was typing about Nonkululeko Mlaba releasing the pressure with five wides down the leg side, the spinner more than makes up for it with a ripper to clean up Harleen Deol.

The slow left-armer floats this one up, gets a bit of drift in to the right-hander then the turn away to beat the edge and make a mess of the stumps!

Just three singles from the first over after drinks as Nadine de Klerk continues.

Steady stuff from the medium-pacer as South Africa continue to try and build some pressure.

Nonkululeko Mlaba has got herself into a good rhythm early in her spell - taking a wicket second ball probably helps.

A quicker delivery is kept out by Pratika Rawal to end the over and it's time for drinks.

Spending time at the crease comes very naturally to the Indian players.

  10. Ind 69-1published at 14 overs

Play and a miss from Harleen Deol as she tries to drive Nadine de Klerk. Well taken by Sinalo Jafta, stood up to the stumps.

Deol ends the over with a boundary, though, expertly guiding the ball past backward point. Too wide from De Klerk.

    Turn and bounce!

That will interest Nonkululeko Mlaba (and the India spinners) and it takes the edge of a surprised Harleen Deol.

With no slip in place, the ball runs away for a single but definitely something to keep an eye on.

The timing of that wicket, as well as the manner of it, will frustrate Smriti Mandhana and India.

Tidy over from Nadine de Klerk, bowling her military medium. Just two singles from it as Pratika Rawal, who had been a bit quiet after a quick start, lets the last one go.

  14. Ind 59-1published at 11 overs

Harleen Deol is in at first drop for India and gets off the mark with two, driven through the covers.

A couple of singles ends a successful first over from Nonkululeko Mlaba. The spinner so often makes an impact for South Africa and today is no different.

The crowds reaction says it all. You can almost argue if that shot was necessary from Smriti Mandhana, the field was set for that shot.

    Spin works immediately!

Left-arm spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba strikes second ball but it is a bit of a giveaway from Smriti Mandhana.

The India left-hander tries to hit over long-on but gets nowhere near enough on it and it's a simple catch for Sune Luus a couple of yards off the boundary.

There are India fans in the crowd with hands on their heads. That sums it up.

A brilliant start for India with this fifty partnership between Rawal and Mandhana.

  18. Ind 55-0published at 10 overs

Smriti Mandhana twice carves the ball past backward point, getting two on the first occasion and just a single second time.

That ends a good powerplay for India and with fielding restrictions now loosened, South Africa are going to turn to spin.

'Stand and deliver' - Mandhana pulls short De Klerk ball over mid-wicket for four

Loosener from Nadine de Klerk and Smriti Mandhana dismissively pulls it in front of square for four.

A real long hop from De Klerk and Mandhana was not going to miss out, one bounce and over the rope.

That brings up the fifty partnership.

  20. Ind 48-0published at 9 overs

Fantastic fielding from Tumi Sekhukhune to deny Smriti Mandhana a boundary at fine leg.

The South Africa fielder charges around the boundary and puts in a dive to cut the ball off a few inches off the boundary cushion.

A loose shot from Pratika Rawal follows as she misses trying to flay the ball through the off side.

One over left in the powerplay.
